Didnt see the update for the New year special episode aired on 1st Jan, therefore thought of giving a short update, hope it is ok.
Here is a short update (not a very detailed one):
1) I didnt see the first 10-15 minutes of the episode but it seems that sunder has misplaced the passes that jetha and the other men of the society were having to go to the new yr party at PW cheriott 😆
2) Jetha gets very angry and wild at sunder 😡 and even at daya as usual since he is her veera 😆
3) Daya tries to explain jetha but he doesnt listen to her and goes outside for a glass of soda at abdul's shop
4) At the shop, all the other men (bhide, sodhi, popatlal, mehta saab, haathi bhai) are already there and seem very exicted abt the party unaware of the fact that passes are already lost, they are all discussing as to what clothes to wear etc,
5) There our dear jetha lal comes looking very sad 😭 and gets more sad listening at the conversation that is already going on abt the party
6) He then tells everyone that sunderlal has lost the passes and therefore cannot go to the new years party, everyone are shocked 😲
7) However they make a firm decision that they will still manage to go to the party 😳
8) Then they all go back to their homes in a group but there all the ladies along with sunderlal are sitting at the society compound discussing as to how they can stop their husbands from going to the party
9) All the men come and say that we will still go to the party, but sunderlal says that he has a good idea by which they dont have to go to the party but do a party in the society itself.
10) Jetha lal objects but then from the men side, he sends taarak mehta to speak and negoitiate on their behalf and from ladies side it is sunderlal. 😆
11) Jetha lal gives a new name to him which is SUNDERI LAL (this is hilarious) since he is going to speak on behalf of the ladies 🤣
12) sunder then gives his idea as to how they can party in the society itself, he makes everyone undertand that he will manage everything from dance to food and even drinks in the party, the men starts believeing him and they seem happy 😃 with his idea but then jetha says how can they have drinks when bapuji and tapu sena are there
13) sunder gives another idea that till 12am, they will all dance and party together and then after 12, he will tell bapuji and tapu sena to go somewhere to enjoy among themselves so that they can have their drinks after that
14) the men seems happy and agree to his idea of keeping the party in soceity 😊
15) the next evening the party starts where the whole soceity is decorated with lights and looks beautiful, sudner comes on stage and announces that first we will have a couple dance where there will be 2 pots, in one pot, all the men names and there and in the other pot, all the ladies name are there, one name will be picked from men pot and the other name from ladies pot aur jiska bhi naam aaya, they have to dance together
16) Bhide ben and daya seems a bit shy about the idea as to how they can dance with other men but then taarak mehta comes on stage and explains them that there is nothing to be shy about, we all are one family only, bapuji also agrees to the idea and later all seem convinced.
17) the firsth dance performance is by tapu sena and bapuji, after the dance is over, everyone claps at bapuji for the enthusiasm & energy he showed in the dance
18) Then comes the couple dance, where taark mehta picks one chit from the men's pot and the name is roshan singh sodhi and then from ladies pot and the name is komal hathi, they both then come and perform, here the epsiode ends
Didnt get a chance to see the precap but am sure it will be jetha and babita who will be paired together and this will be hilarious 🥳
