Chapter: 7 - Maha Episode

Shekhar is shown waiting at the bazaar next to the Old Temple anxiously waiting for that lady. He turns around, and he sees Ragini She tells him that she came to do some last minute shopping for Sujata and wonders what he's doing there so early. Shekhar stammers that he came to get some stuff for the Pooja... And will be awhile. Ragini leaves... leaving Shekhar very worried, when a lady calls his name. Swara is shown walking out into the garden, and sees a trail of roses from the step to the tree in the middle of the courtyard. As she's walking towards the tree, she thinks about how amazing he is, but where is he? She reaches the tree, and rose petals fall on her... She slowly turns around, basking in the petals... And Vivek comes. He tells her that the flowers light comes in the morning, and for him, light came when she came into his life. She smiles, and turns to leave, but Vivek won't let her until she says something...

Back to Shekhar and that lady. She asks him his name. And he replies yes. She admonishes him for agreeing to the wedding without asking about them. She tells him that her bosses' niece was approached for marriage... And at the last minute, they turned it down - "everything was in place, even the wedding details... They forced him into selling everything for dowry, and then they said no."

Back to Vivek tell to Swara that the road they are travelling on isn't his or hers... It's their journey. It is his responsibility to make sure that nothing happens to her (or something to that effect) - "The roses you walked on? I personally made sure to take out all the thorns... Because I love you Vivek Says and they look at each other... and again Vivek asks Swara if she won't say anything.

She says "Thank you." And Vivek smiles and remarks at least she hasn't said that she doesn't want to go to Canada... To which Swara replies "To be honest, I'm still not ready to go to Canada... But Papa told me that you're a good man..." But. Vivek wants to know what Swara Thinks of him? She Blushes and Ran Away.

When the lady comes in, Shekhar tells her that they are the family he's getting his daughter married to. She looks at them, and is surprised. They aren't the family she referred to She apologizes, and leaves. The families are standing there, shocked... Not having anything to say. Ragini asks Shekhar who that lady was, and what was said. Shekhar stammers for words,
Sujata tells Shekhar that if there were any doubts.. Couldn't they have asked them? Ragini says "Highlight to dekho - she said something, and they believed them?" Shekhar tries to assure them it wasn't the case, Just as Shekhar is about to apologize, Dev notices how distraught Swara is. He tells Shekhar not to apologize, as he understands a father's worry... It is his daughter's life he's thinking about.

Everybody is going in a car to the mela...Vivek and Swara are in the same car. Swara remembers her dad apologizing to Vivek and his family. Vivek moves the rearview mirror to look at Swara who has her head down in sadness. Ragini notices Vivek looking at Swara and says why are you looking at her slyly...she tells him to look ahead. Vivek says oh I was just looking at the smile of your Bhabhi that went into a hiding is back or not. Swara gives a small smile and says that it's not like that. Vivek says Swara please don't be saddened...whatever uncleji did was right and still he was forced to apologize. Swara says daaji...but Vivek interrupts and says that maybe he doesn't understand that if one has a naive girl like you then not only uncleji but even daaji should be fully satisfied before getting you married to me. The Parrot baba says Swara and asks the parrot to tell the future of Swara ...the parrot picks a card...the baba looks at it and says ooh congratulations your life partner is going to come into your life today itself.. Dolly and Preet (Swara Friends) look shocked when Preet says that he is not going to come...he has already arrived. The pandit says oh if he is here already no matter...takes this taveez and makes him wear it and babaji will always bless you both. Swara looks at the pendant and thinks back at the words of Vivek who said you didn't buy anything for me either right? Dolly and Preet leave... not before Preet says bye bye to the parrot! He swims where she is...And takes her out of the water she is still screaming Help... And he tells her Quiet.' She keeps quite. Embarrassed Cute! He carries her till the shore and drops her there. He throws her dupatta on her. And Went Away from there.

In the Evening

Swara being brought
out for the mehndi, with the Punjabi song playing in the b/g. Vivek sees his
bride and smiles... As Swara is walking down, she stumbles. Ragini calls out
her name, and everyone looks up. Vivek runs to Swara and Swara parents share a
knowing look in the background. Vivek and Swara Share a Romantic moment.

Vivek is called to the men's side, and Swara is asked to
choose a mehndi design. Swara doesn't know which one to choose... And looks
