Dear readers, at last I'm posting chapter 22. Here I used few scientific terms related to physics/engineering, which are completely alien to me now. I read them 10 years back. So if you find any mistakes especially the people from those fields, please feel free to point them out. I took help from Google Baba! Anyways,enjoy!
CHAPTER 22
25th December, 7.20 p.m
"Her room is on the 7th floor, Sanskar. Why did you come here?"Swara squinted her eyes as she soliloquized in astonishment.She looked puzzled when Sanskar had been climbing the stairs to the terrace. He opened the tinted glass door of the attic to go inside. The attic was spacious with some faux antique furniture placed on the wooden flooring. After turning on the lamp, he freed himself from his blazer. He checked every nooks and corners, then opened a cupboard. After placing his blazer on a hanger he brought out the rucksack that was left for him by George the day before.He left the attic with the backpack to stroll under the open sky. He looked downwards standing near the railing,from where the city looked liked a 3D model presented by an architect. He unrolled a map to recheck the position circled by red marker. He scrutinised carefully as he moved along all the way near the railing. At one point he stopped to bend a little.
"Careful! You're on the 18th floor, Sanskar!"Her eyes widened in terror as she heard him to say, "This is it! Perfect place for going down!"
"Are you crazy? Tum koi spiderman ya superman nahi ho! Please leave this madness!Agar kuch-"Swara almost pleaded Sanskar to wipe out this dangerous idea out of his head. Without paying any heed to her words he fastened the safety harness around his body tightly which was attached to a safety wire. At the end of the wire there was a metallic clamp to fix the whole arrangement to the railing. After doing that he stepped on the cornice.He could hear a yelp from Swara and... her heart thumped violently, threatening to bulge out of its bony cage any moment..
"Relax Nymph!" he stated in an assuring tone, feeling already invincible sensing her immense concern for him, "Haven't AK already told you... that they lovingly call me Batman ? And Batman doesn't need any superpower for doing wonders!" saying this he jumped, letting himself fall freely in the air.

Somewhere in India...
Nakshatra banged his fist on the table. His face was red in anger, his calculated and cold demeanour of expressing the malice and fury had changed at this moment. He caught the collar of Yudh and gritted his teeth, "How could you fail Yudh? I trusted you the most, till now you've always made my plans successful, with your added personal masterstrokes. Today not only you people blasted my carefully laid original plan, you failed to work out the spare plan too! Couldn't you even blasted a bomb near the entrance?"
Laksh didn't leave the chance to pass snide remarks. "What an irony! Some people do have sharp tongue inside their big fat mouth !Par woh khud aur baki sab ke saath mil ke ghaav khane ki aur sab kuch barbad karne ki alawa aur kuch nahi kar sakte! Bade bade baatein!"
"Mind your language, Laksh!" Hades' eyes blazed like a burned coal, given the fact he was present there too. "Baithke ye sab baatein karna bahot asaan hota hai!You were not even a part of that wretched mission dammit!Tumhara koi haq nehi banta yeh sab kehne ki..."
,"I kinda agree that he shouldn't have a say! But you're bound to answer me." Kal looked vexed and dejected, "I developed that bloody bomb! Me with my guys were awake for consecutive 2 days. Couldn't you sneak in that small explosive with someone in that heavy crowd and get away without being noticed?"
"Do you want to know what happened?" Arjun cold brooding voice was heard. " We were stopped, at every step of our PERFECT plan! As if they knew all tiny details... As if they were present in our meetings, sitting in the same room!"
"What do you want to say Arjun?" Agni sounded perplexed, " Are you suggesting we've got a black sheep among us?"
"I'm not suggesting anything ." Arjun looked thoughtful, "But if you ponder upon the recent happenings, it's quite possible! Ye bhi ho sakta hai ki woh insaan Dr Bose aur uski mangetar ko bhaagne mein bhi madat kiya hai."
Ragini suddenly felt uneasy. Laksh had saved Swara twice- once from execution and once from the canines. They had failed to stop the runaway couple too. What if Black wolves misunderstand him as a traitor? What if Laksh's obsession for Swara becomes the cause of his ultimate downfall?

Swara almost forgot to breathe whenever Sanskar's hands missed the railing of balcony and world before him was being oscillated in the process. Obviously he wasn't visible to her as the spycam was attached to his chest. She hoped the cable was strong and fixed well, enough to bear his weight even after the jolts.
Sanskar's caught the railing at his fifth attempt and jumped into the balcony attached to room no 7010. He unlocked the snap hook to separate the cable from the harness. "Aab tum saans le sakte ho, Nymph!" Sanskar said in a playful tone, which turned serious afterwards, " Now shift your attention to Dora completely. Keep me updated about her movements from time to time. Warn me if she comes this way. Got it?"
"Affirmative!" Swara shifted her focus to Dora while Sanskar took out a simple hairpin from his pocket, bended it and inserted inside the lock of the balcony doorknob. After a minute or two, a sudden clicking sound confirmed that the door was unlocked. He concentrated in his work as soon as he barged inside. All the cabinets and drawers were checked, mattresses were flipped and the walls and the floors were both scanned.
"Looks like Pandora's secret lies in her box!" Sanskar stated as if as a matter of fact . He used a Swiss knife to open the luggage along the zipper, "Sorry for this damage if you're innocent, Miss Hyatt, which you aren't that I'm almost sure of. I think Randall won't mind giving you one as a present in case you're clean."
"She and Randall went towards the restaurant." Swara reported, " They have just taken their seats and received the menu cards."
Sanskar was getting almost frustrated. Till now nothing couldn't be found. "Arghh. I don't what will I do, if I get absolute zero result! Ladkiyon ko cheezon mein haat lagaana! Chii!"
"Aren't you done yet? Itna saara samaan! Oh ho!Lagta hai uss makeup ki dukaan ne sath mein apna mini makeup ki dukaan le kar ayi hain!"Swara rolled her eyes. Suddenly she shrieked. "Sanskar! She passed the smart card hiding inside the menu card. A waiter took it back with him. "
"Then he's coming this way only."He hurriedly opened her makeup kit only to discover some things those shouldn't belong there. He let out an "Love you, Nymph! Tumhari wajah se woh... kya kaha tha... haan makeup ki dukaan... yuhi sab se pehle check kiya ! You've definitely saved my time."
Hearing him say those words, even if casually, her heart flipped... But her mind got back the reign over herself on the next moment... , "Please hurry! He must be coming this way. Did you find what you're looking for?" She tried hard not to be panicked... urged him to speed up his search...
"Electrical cables... fuses... tools... Why did she have to carry those things with her, that too during a pleasure trip?"Both of them had same thought playing on their minds. Sanskar quickly came out of the room and grabbed the safety cable to fix it with the harness. He was almost going to lock the D-clip when a faint sound of footsteps alerted his senses.
"Watch out,Sanskar!" Swara gasped, gripping the armrest of her chair in panic.

At the very last moment Sanskar managed to move aside and the new entrant missed to stab him by mere an inch. The intruder had tanned complexion, broad shoulder, trimmed beard covered his square face.His black shoulder length hair was tied up in a ponytail.Sanskar rotated his right hip and body in 360 spin back roundhouse kick aiming the ponytail guy's lower back, who stumbled forward and dropped his knife. Ponytail bowed to grab the knife again but Sanskar grabbed him by his neck and thrashed his face on the side wall several times. The Ponytail tried to come back, aiming his elbow at Sanskar's torso but was blocked on time. Sanskar used his both wrists to pull his opponents both arms backwards and upwards all on a sudden. The Ponytail screamed in severe pain, but Sanskar who was on merciless SSR mode completely, yanked his body towards the railing and threatened to push. "What have you done with those wires? TELL ME! RIGHT NOW! Otherwise get ready to fly!" Watching the other guy laughing crazily he hissed, "Believe me! My hands won't tremble even a little bit to wipe out a worm of gutters like you!"Saying this Sanskar bended down the ponytail guy's body more, lifting his feet from the ground.
"Even if I tell, you can't stop the catastrophe that's about to happen tonight!" The Ponytail guy laughed out hysterically, " And threat me all you can. We give a damn about lives including my own too. Do whatever you want, snitch! Once they cross the limit, be ready for a mega barbecue!"
"You did the right thing, *****..."Sanskar brought him back inside and wrapped his arm around his neck. "..by telling me." He whispered, his face formed a crooked smile.

After few seconds the black wolf in the waiter getup was seen lying on the floor, unconscious and handcuffed. Sanskar, all attached to his safety equipments escalated on the top of the railing and allowed himself to fall again.
As soon as his feet touched the ground Swara's voice again rang in his ears,. " That Dora is in a rest room near the ballroom. She's opening all the water taps, one by one".
"Call AK and ask, what's the situation in the pool party?" Sanskar rushed inside soon after freeing himself from the cable. He must reach the basement as early as he can, from where the power supply of the entire hotel can be managed.
"KC speaking. TR, convey this message to all the agents m immediately. NO( Neal O'brien), our circuit guy had found the lighting done inside the pool party extremely unsafe. There are some open wires little bit away the pool. God knows how many are there! The crowd is getting crazier. We need to do something fast!"
After setting his feet inside the basement Sanskar stopped for a while... bending forward he held his knees to rest a bit... his racing heart beats gradually returned to normal pace... Neal joined him after a while.
"Exactly why are we here SSR?" He questioned Sanskar, who pointed his fingers towards the fuse boxes. Wearing the rubber gloves Neal inspected inside them one by one. "Those bl**dy a******s! Look at these!" he indicated not to touch anything. "Wear the gloves at first."
Sanskar frowned. All the fuses were defective... If only two of the bare wires come into contact with each other, those fuses wouldn't be able to handle the extra flow of current... Presence of water nearby will turn the situation disastrous ... Walter Welkins will be in news for a terrible short circuit generated fire ...Sanskar stated in almost commanding tone. "Nymph, send someone to stop the water taps there. NOW."
"That witch is guarding outside like a hawk!" Swara informed in reply, disgust written all over her face a"EJ, handle Dora ASAP ."Lenna, who was coming out of the bar after checking it as well as Randall's room, rushed towards the restroom as soon as Swara took her name. Before that she had removed her skirt, revealing a pair of black jeans underneath.
Neal suggested, "Should I turn off the main switch now?"Thea dismissed the idea, " No! Not now at least! In the dark people will get injured and panicked.Someone even may fall into the pool. Don't forget there will be always someone loaded with booze!"
"Then we need to evacuate... Thea, pull whatever strings you find suitable." Sanskar rested his arms on his forehead as he voiced out the further instructions, "Be cautious! Don't let anyone know the true reason behind evacuation. Otherwise wolves may do something drastic out of desperation!. "
"Guys! Lenna needs your help!",Suddenly Swara spoke out in the middle of their conversation," She is being outnumbered by other Black wolves who have just joined their... Pandora."

Few minutes later, inside the pool party, Kiara made an announcement grabbing the microphone ...
"Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen, Water Welkins management have arranged a small final surprise as your bonus Christmas gift. Please come to..."
Inside the ballroom Steve (SB) spread around the same words. All the guests were leaving from the ballroom and swimming pool. With the help of Mr Hernandez the agents managed to close down the bar and the restaurant too.
"You can turn off the main switch now."Thea addressed Neal,giving him the green signal. Neal looked towards the entrance, a smile of satisfaction spread on his face, registering Ayaz and Zack who stepped inside the basement. The assailants will surely revert once they would sense the roadblock on their way and try to remove it. It's better to stay prepared... Taking a deep breath Neal turned off the main switches one by one... The C - shaped magnificent structure that had extra enlightened glory on the Christmas eve few second before now was fallen into obscurity...

Randall' s face lost his colour as he watched the scene before him just before the lights were out. He had never imagined the woman he was contemplating to propose was a terrorist. He had followed his so called criminal girlfriend and found her near the restroom who was aiming a Beretta Pico, a tiny revolver at Nina' s skull and shouting to let her go.Sooraj aka Sanskar gave him a befitting reply by shooting on her hand. She dropped her arms but pulled a small guarded knife out concealed inside her huge bun. Before she could hurt anyone Sanskar fired once more, the bullet formed a small hole just below her ribcage." I've told you before we'll meet you again!"He sat down and snatched the knife from her hand,. Her eyes were blazing with naked hatred, before she blacked out. Sanskar turned to get up only to noticed Randall who stood still appearing visibly appalled and broken."
"Mr Randall! I know you're shocked but please hear us out.We had to shoot your girlfriend because she is Pandora, a vicious terrorist, not any ordinary receptionist " Sanskar tried to explain him the situation, just when lights were out.
Lenna lit a pen torch and said in a concerned tone, "Mr Randall, it's not safe for you to stay inside. Please come this way. I'll escort you to our people outside." Randall glanced back at Dora as if questioned, "Is she dead?"
Sanskar could realise his ordeal. He revealed in a soft, empathetic tone, " No, she's injured only. Our medical team will attend her soon..."He sighed in relief when Lenna left with him. He headed towards the basement to assist his people who needed present there, felt relieved as they could desist the ticking threat for the time being. But at the same time he couldn't help but feel sorry for Randall. Betrayal from the beloved can throw someone into a deep murky pit. How anyone can pick the pieces of his bleeding, broken heart? Even if one can do that, how that cracked heart can dare to trust... dare to love again?"Tu fikar mat kar Sanskar! Your Nymph will never ever betray you! Even if I can't bear that painful memory, but she was ready to lay down her life for me!" His mind and heart both assured him in unison. With a new found zeal he switched back in pure SSR mode, determined to call it a night...

The basement of Walter Welkins was now a witness of gruesome gunfight between Interpol and Black Wolves. Walls and ceiling bore holes from missed shots, and the wooden floor had human forms in sleeping postures with red warm fluid staining the surface. Ayaz let out a breath and asked, "NO, how are you feeling now? Is the pain bothering you too much!" he pointed at his wounded arm which had a piece of cloth tied around it.
Neal brushed it aside, " Relax! The bullet just grazed my skin!No big deal! We kicked ass of these as****es!"
Sanskar agreed, but he was still skeptic, " Are you sure there's no one else lurking inside the hotel?"
Thea answered, "Yup. All inside the hotel are down."
Just that moment Ayaz's cell rang, "Yes Kiki..."He went a bit far from the rest of them. Sanskar again started shooting questions, "What about outside? Are you sure , no one else lurking inside the hotel?"

"No, SSR. guests are still in the complex premises. And no one came to the basement".Thea again replied.
Zack called them impatiently, "Let's go guys. We need to handover the wounded wolves to the medical team.SSR, go with NO.We'll handle the rest"
" Nymph, tell the medical team to be ready. We're coming. By the way, I noticed you're making your work done by TR. Woh sawal maine tumse kia tha, usse nehi."Sanskar's voice sounded impatient but Thea cut him, "English, SSR! Actually NB is not here..."
"What do you mean by that?" Sanskar stopped in his way, "Where is she? Is she on a break?Wait a minute. Is she alright?" Sudden tension gripped his senses.
"WHAT??? ARE THEY NUTS?" Ayaz's screaming over the phone caught their attention, "ARE YOU TELLING ME SHE IS THERE?"
Sanskar's tone turned cold... expressions murderous... "Answer me TR. Where is Nymph? WHERE DID YOU SEND HER? WHERE IS SHE DAMN IT!!!" He roared, mentally cursing Thea, and moreover reliving the same terror he went through in the past.
"She... she is in the central premise of the Complex." Thea trembled sensing Sanskar's searing rage, " She has our people around... They'll guard her with their life ...Please calm down ..."
"Calm down? YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN???" He clenched his fist. Each and every words rolled from his tongue was openly declaring menace, " I'll deal that self sacrificing idiot girl later.How could you let her jump in front of unknown danger?Listen you bloody stupid irresponsible lady. If I find even one scratch on her body, if anything happens to her, I SWEAR... YOU'LL SEE THE WORST OF ME!"
