Hey Shreetha! We haven't really interacted before and I am sorry to have missed out on your stories too (I have been limiting my time on this forum a lot due to the nasty and negative atmosphere and pointless issues arising each time), but I am a writer like you and I know that for most of us our emotions and writing are inextricably linked. Therefore I can totally relate to not wanting to write more as when the sort of drama and bad vibes as now pervade here come into play it can dim or even extinguish motivation. I myself am low on the will for my current story BUT I refuse to let that be the reason for disengaging with my writing.

I had decided I wasn't going to comment on this issue at all as it seems pointless and those who understand already do and those who have made their minds up the other way, won't change it but I couldn't restrain myself today. I hope what I say will come across constructively, it is meant that way.

I feel this issue has been blown WAY out of proportion and has morphed into something totally unnecessary and damaging to all SwaSanians. I can actually see both sides of this very clearly and can relate with the opposing side to my own views and totally get why a lot of people are upset over the lack of long standing engagement (as it appears) by Varun with what fans want. However, I think that is entirely up to him and I am not dismissing this by saying it's his personal life- that of course it is but to me the issue is deeper than that.

I get all the points made that Helly may have been busy etc. She may have, she may not. It is immaterial just as it is whether Varun wanted her in the IV/ segment or not. If that is what EITHER Helly or Varun (or anyone else for that matter) want- i.e. to choose who they give IVs or spend time with offscreen in any way shape or form, that is entirely up to them in my opinion. I really don't see how ANYONE of us can be in a position to KNOW what happens with those guys as we are not there and as far as I know, none of us has actual confirmed direct knowledge (I don't count hearsay or rumours or speculation which is what a lot of this seems to me to be). Varun and Helly may have an issue, they may not- so what? Why should we be owed explanations and who are we to demand that they be friends and good with each other? It would of course be amazing for that to be the case- and it once blatantly was. Now it clearly isn't - BUT to me, that doesn't open season on either Varun or Helly.

I totally disagree that Varun is fake as he is so casually accused of being. IF he was fake- he would be giving cosy IVs and pretending and we would all be singing his praises. But here it is the opposite. I don't KNOW if he has an issue- but it seems he didn't want to (for whatever his reason is) give that IV or do a joint segment and he didn't. Not liking that and being disappointed by that is fine. But accusing him of the vile things that I see being laid at his door and taking it so far as to ask for him to be replaced (yes I have seen some people go that far) and the same people who praised his performances to the skies now saying he is (all of a sudden as if my magic) not even acting or emoting well to me is beyond low. Being a fan gives no one a right to demand that much and go that far. And if you don't like Varun- fine, don't be his fan, no one is forcing you but why is he being hung, drawn and quartered for not having the best social networking skills?

The IVs and segments I see- I find that both Varun and Helly are fine! I saw and really enjoyed the 150th AT segment. So why did he do that if he's such a horrible person and hates Helly? And there's many more examples too where they have BOTH demonstrated professional maturity towards each other. So what if they don't hang around much anymore? I would personally love them to and see their old bonding back but I cannot and will not judge for it being absent as I simply don't know what or why things are changed!

I know a lot has been said and done and much water under the bridge has passed but it really upsets me to see the state of a thriving forum and fandom reduced to this- petty fights, name calling and lashing out on so many levels. What also strikes me as ironic is that so many have turned keyboard crusaders for a cause that the person in whose name it's been done is not behind. Helly has shown such dignity and immense maturity always in dealing with endless speculation about her so called victimisation by her co-stars and she firmly disputes each allegation each time, be that against Namish, Tejaswi or now Varun. I feel all this is only actually more damaging to Helly and to the whole cast and crew. I think those guys go about their day as professionals and enjoy very nice and cordial relations and to varying degrees (and the variations may be huge) are either friends or mere co-stars. So what? I am a fellow partner with 24 other people- we have to make a whole firm run and some of us cannot stand each other and others are best friends BUT that doesn't affect our operation and we all get on to be able to do our jobs. I see it as that- if you focus on SwaSan and not on any offscreen drama (imagined or real), I feel decisions about leaving, staying, writing, etc all become easier.

I know you have not said anything against any actor and my comments are not aimed at you but your post gave me the chance to say what I felt and I hope you will not mind:). I do hope you will be able to complete your stories as I am sure your readers would love to read them but I totally understand and relate if you cannot- you have to do what you feel is right, but don't do it based on what you read through speculation.

This is purely my personal POV and I am not judging anyone - if I am judged and called a blind fan, that is ok with me- I have thick skin and I know exactly who I am so it doesn't bother me.

and fans make actors popular but fans are not responsible for actors bread and butter..they earn their own bread and butter with their hard work...kisi k unko like karne se ya na karne se koi fark nehi parega...VK became so popular as Sanskaar but isse pehle he wasn't a jobless..he did many shows and earned his bread and butter with his own hard work...fans can appreciate their works and criticize them but fans can't interfere in their personal life and their personal choices...it is their choice with whom they will get along and with whom they don't...VaHe are professional..even if they have problems between them still they didn't let it effect their onscreen equation...they are doing their best...and just bcz of this silly things fans are criticizing recent SwaSan scenes and saying this scenes are not good and only bcz of Helly they are watchable..VK was totally flat in those scenes..specially that Balgopal scene...like kuch bhi..jo log do din pehle tak us scene ko and VaHe k performance and expressions ko praise kar ne se piche nehi hat rahe the aj wohi log us scene mein VK ki galtiyaan nikal ne mein lage hai...ye to had hi ho gayi...

I don't know about their personal relation..bcz I only care for SwaSan..as long as I get to see their good scenes I don't mind..and for me VaHe comes before Helly and Varun..I am VaHe fan before then an individual fan...SwaSAn and VaHe is everything for me..and I am proud to be their fans..my love and admiration is not so sasta k it will vanish just bcz of some rumors and it also doesn't mean I am a blind fan...

but i did not like the way the things have been going since GPA days. i voted only once for that. but have seen beautiful members losing their sleep over it and voting like crazy to make their OTP win. swasan win.

and the wait continued on and on.

yes we got gift segments and other few segments. am i the only one who thought those segments were terribly unsatisfactory?

and then the birthday segment.. the absolute last straw.
i have not seen his 'teju is my best buddy. stay off her' interview. i saw the birthday one.
people wanted to see vahe interview. if he was uncomfortable giving that one all he had to say is.. no.
but he made a buddy project out of it again. Tejasswi refused to come to it. he again requested her to join him and the entire interview was in your face 'we are best friends in the town' one.
like who the hell cares?
why are you making such a pomp and show out of it. haven't you already told people that before?

it is heartbreaking to see people still requesting vahe interview.

helly always sells vahe.
tejasswi and namish sells temish.
and varun has been avoiding the fact the he is a half of the product called swasan. and he has some responsibility towards it.
doing a great job on screen is not enough in this era of intense SNS.
he is not asked by the media outlets for interviews because he is a wonderful actor (he is). there are dime a dozen serials around and jodis.
yet media chases him because... people want to hear him.
why?
because he is varun kapoor..
no!
because he is sanskaar for them. half of swasan.
and him being so dismissive towards swasan is frankly speaking.. unprofessional.
even karan patel; the true bad guy of tele land; is not THIS dismissive towards ishra when he doesn't share good vibes with divyanka.

and the fact that his spouse makes mocking and 'i hate swasan' comments on social networking sites doesn't help.
letting your family members talk about your professional equations is.. unprofessional.

we can pick and chose our friends. varun can too.
but what varun can't is .. getting down to the level of the fans and act immature.
you are uncomfortable with certain someone.. say no to the interviews. that is it.
and keep your family out of your professional equations.

fans too are going WAY overboard. give the actors a break.
or take a break yourself.

and for godsakes don't lynch your own friends for the celebrities who don't know you exist.
judge the opinions. NOT the ones who own those opinions.

we being in virtual world; drooling over fictional characters, talking about a fictional show, getting attached to the celebrities who are unaware of our existence, spending our time and effort to make them win, write stories, making edits... all these are ..EMOTIONS & FEELS.

do we really need proofs and alibis for those?

varun made sanskaar come alive. NOTHING can take this away from him.
but he has changed from what he was.
doesn't affect me in anyways but was disappointing to see the disappointment all around.

can't cheer for the one who was part of it.
