What a fabulous Chapter 28 - Chapter 29!! ๐๐๐ Absolutely enjoyed reading the both of them together. ๐
Chapter 28
I enjoyed the uncomfortable position Swara and Sanskaar were caught in and THANK YOU so much for writing a shy Swara! I did not mind her dabang attitude later but the initial shyness was so cute! Somehow you manage to fulfil all our expectations from Swara in this FF and what we dont see in the show ๐ณ (If you know what mean or at what I am hinting at ๐) I really enjoyed the 'subtle' tease by Pawan and Uttara - it was adorable! ๐ณ I love the bonding that Pawan and Sanskaar share and the developing one between Swara and Uttara and Swara and Pawan. ๐ณ
Sujata was indeed a surprise - given she was set against the alliance. I absolutely loved how she realised that Sanskaar is as complex and complicated as Swara and he deserves happiness from the girl who has heart of gold and would make him happy - no matter what. ๐ณ
If I am to guess, this lady who is jealous of Swara's alliance with Sanskaar is Ragini? She is the one who wants to stop this marriage for she rightly thinks that her position would be overshadowed? ๐ฒ
The part where Swara has an unsettling feeling about Sanskaar leaving is beautifully described. Sanskaar coming to her, Swara's cold yet concerned attitude and then the Rudraksha tying bit was beautiful! The love that they have for each other - flowed through your words. ๐๐ Both of them are worried and concerned for each other and are so attracted to each other but understand that Sanskaar has to lead. Swara's concern for Sanskaar is ๐
I am glad you brought in Kavita's letter here and I am happy about the fact that Sanskaar was decisive about his stance on her. He loves Swara like he has loved no other and while Kavita holds a little part of his heart now - he feels responsible for her - to plan her escape and help her. I loved that there is no doubt in his mind that he will marry Swara because she is the love of his life (something again that was amiss in the show. Sigh!) Special mention to Pawan who wanted to dissuade Sanskaar from any thoughts about Kavita. What a friend. ๐๐
Chapter 29
Sanskaar and Pawan teaming up as usual to protect Swara I guess. I am sensing apart from following the trail of the letter, Sanskaar must have asked Pawan to stay back in order to protect Swara too for he would do anything to protect Sanskaar and Swara's relationship. Ragini, being worried means that she is the woman as written in Chapter 28. So is she directly involved with Dev and Kaveri? I love how Annapurna keeps a check on Ragini - absolutely love her character.
Kavita! Shru, I actually liked this chapter quite much. As you are well aware, even in the show, I always wanted to know the woman who Sanskaar fell so madly in love with and the same goes for DK too. I love how you have described Kavita and what she has been upto for the past years - her dreams and her insecurities. I do feel that even though she set sights on Laksh - she really did like Sanskaar and wanted to be with him. If she had for a single moment thought that Sanskaar and she would elope - she really did want to be with him. However, that being said, she cannot keep blaming Dev or Kaveri for her own role in this whole mess. She cannot play the victim card when all she has thought about was herself. If she even contemplated being loved by Dev for once, I don't think she really was in love with Sanskaar - maybe just wanted to be with him.
Absolutely loved it Shru! Don't think any length of comments or number of words can do justice to the Chapters. Wonderful! ๐๐๐

My dearest Anna ๐ค x 10
I've said before how much it means to me that you and Yukhti literally come on the forum to post on DK even when your on a break from it generally- huge love and thanks for that!! Huge thanks too for the lovely comments below- without the feedback of some friends and readers, it doesn't feel complete:)
Haha, you enjoyed the squirming by those two huh? ๐ Agar pyaar kiya hai toh yeh toh bhukatna hoga na? ๐ I write Swara as I see her- the SwaSan I am madly in love with are the ones I write and a huge part of that is of course Swara. I think it really sweet when in such a situation a girl, no matter how "bold" otherwise is shy and with a masculine guy like Sanskaar who really gives me butterflies (I know you won't think I'm crazy ๐) how can a girl not be shy? ๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ. As said before, if you like my Swara- I must be doing something right and I very much know what we are talking about here ๐! I wanted this feel of friends and to be relations without being cheesy in an annoying way so am glad you liked the currents between those 4:)!
Sujata- ah yes, she is rather odd- crass but I guess whatever she does, including attack, she will do rather directly. I wanted to show her weirdness but offset by her understanding of the fact that she actually does know what Sanskaar needs ๐
The lady you refer to- cannot expressly confirm or deny but Ragini is of course a good guess there ๐ and of course Ragini definitely doesn't want Swara married to Sanskaar.
I wanted to show that deep bond and also try and bring in some realistic anger/ upset by Swara born out of missing him already and being deprived of his company, plus dreading that he will leave the next day ๐ญ. So happy you liked it ๐ณ
I felt Kavita chapter had to start- as it is I am bringing her in right towards the end. I actually discussed with with Lanny before and even with Viji over PM- my main purpose in having Kavita was to show a track I could have lived with in the show instead of what we got which is the main reason for my disenchantment with the show. I do hated the way the CVs handled that, and it in truth was a real blow to me as far as Sanskaar is concerned so here of course there was never any doubt that my Sanskaar would be honourable yes but not stupid. And she didn't but even if Swara had known about Kavita and asked him for any idiotic reason to go to Kavita he would say no! ๐ As you say, Swara is the love of his life and a hero who would willingly give that up doesn't deserve the title hero to me:) Pawan- a true friend who would stick his neck on the line ๐ณโค๏ธ
Pawan staying back- yes well main reason is that Sanskaar doesn't want to take any risks and he also needs to ensure the Kavita angle is checked out so if he cannot stay, the only person he would trust would be Pawan. There will be some very interesting revelations including about Ragini very soon ๐
I was so pleased to read yours and Lanny's comments. I knew that the ones who read DK for the actual plot and for more than just SwaSan scenes would understand (hopefully) why this was done in this way. I see Kavita as a layered character. I could have made her straightforward "good" but as I am in perhaps a childish but stubborn way trying to prove a point about the rubbish we got on the show, I deliberately painted her grey, with more distinct darker shades there than hopeful bright tones. Absolutely right you are about her ๐. Yes she did feel something for Sanskaar. Of course it's not unblemished pure love like Swara feels but for someone like Kavita, it is as close as she will ever get to a "good" and genuine feeling for anyone . But as you say, she is an eternal victim. She refuses to even digest that her poor choices are so contributory to her fate. No one of course deserves a mother like Kaveri and a man like Devendra (especially the latter ๐ฒ) but she led to this too in part but of course she has no perspective of that . As for Dev- she never thought of what she in her deficient way sees as love with him, she just thought she could make her life with him tolerable- but of course that was never going to happen.
Thank you so much Anna! You seriously made me feel reassured and recharged when I read your comments. These with some others breathed new morale into my motivation levels!
Love ya,
Shru xoxo
