The confrontation between SwaSan was so well written.. strong and impactful. About Sanskaar... I have told you before but I will say this again..no one can write Sanskaar as good as you.. and this dark knight... I am so in love with him already... You have written an enigma Shru.. which I would love to discover more about as I move my rail gadi forward 😆. Apart from SwaSan, Ragini and Annapurna's characters are written so amazingly. Loved their strong personality even though in case of Ragini, its negative but I am loving the way you're shaping her up.

What an awesome journey Shruthi. I loved all of the equally but you know what I have a thing for the anticipation love brings before it blooms to its fullest. And the pain that goes with it.

Awww- so glad you've been along for the ride on this journey and have enjoyed it! I totally agree- the sweetest phase is that one that you describe and the pain- ah the bittersweetness evoked by pain born of true and pure love!

Lets start on Pawan first. God I love this man. So please if you keep making him adorable by adorable like this I think I would be really skipping parts of the story line to read only swasan and Pawan-Uttara(do they have a ship name?). But thankfully you are restricting the other aweful two to just a paragraph, so I wont be missing much. I knew he would play cupid and so well!! He knows where to push and how. Just the right bro sanskar ever needed. Oh brother in law to be. Sorry. If anyone knows all of sanskars buttons now. Its him. And he is coming to know swara's too. Now im looking forward to how he teaches some sense to each other while himself lossing his heart to Uttara. She is something already. May be inheriting sanskar's smile or her open friendliness but anyway she is more than what I hoped for. Truely out did the original one. There is a certain charm here with the right amount of regality minus the overt childishness.

Pawan is a real sweetheart no? Haha, no no don't skip- the others are needed too but as you can see I try not to let them dominate the attention away from SwaSan mostly. The ship name for the new couple on the block is PaRa- courtesy of Shruti Lannister 😆 Pawan certainly knows which buttons to push but as some commented, the boy is going to get beaten by his best friend one day 😆. Best friend, brother and brother in law- wow! So many relations 😆. Well he can teach sense to these two and then when it's his turn we can see who will teach sense then 😉. I totally think Uttara has some of Sanskaar's charm, just in a softer and cuter way 😃

Sanskar! The all too protective man! The one we had actually fallen head over heels if here Shruthi. And what more to say about him that he is an absolute. No nonsense. Take a bow for that demeanour of his. You nailed it completely. You know what I already think that he considers her his queen in more than one way. There is no backing away. Good that he is pursuing her rather than waiting in his wings for that approving nod. He should pursue. I somehow could help but draw parrallels with the scene where after the accusation scene sanskar confronts swara in their room and she outrightly rejects his love and friendship. While that was something so nonchalant from her side, this here shows how big a battle she is fighting inside her. I'm sure sanskar will find a way.

I love Sanskaar for that very reason (oh well let me not lie- I love him for everything 😳). But really a no nonsense and straight talking hero who knows what he wants and will go to get it is very much how I like them so my ideal man Sanskaar had to be modelled on that. And no, he doesn't want to back off- he is now going to simply just go for it! I love that accusation scene for the way Sanskaar was although Swara in it was at her worst in that phase. Hence the change here, I didn't get why Swara in the show in that time was shown so insensitive and unnecessarily harsh even in the aspects where there was no need for it 😕.

Awww.. The kiss was hot. Real steaming hot. More than "zenith" hot. Haha.. I didn't expect him to speak his mind you know. Like that. "stop doing that" poor swara. She was so confused. Just the kind of taste she needed of herself and what they have to let her know.

Wohooo!!!! I am so pleased it had that effect! Zenith was written with a reluctant Sanskaar due to the way the storyline had been then. Here I am totally "off plan" as such so have much more freedom and my Sanskaar isn't holding back in that sense although of course at one point he has to for her honour 😳. I just felt there was something sexy about a strong man getting so affected by those really innocent gestures and her not even understanding the effect she was having 😳

Its a wonder Ragini is so quite. I did expect the brawling but was somewhere hoping that she would give up with the kind of guilt unfurling inside her. But looks like we have to wait. But there is one thing Im greatful to you about keeping lakshya low. I guess you will first want to solidify swasan as they go through the upcoming war and then will throw Ragini at them..

Too many guesses running through my mind...

Ragini- well, she is rather boxed in to a corner now. She cannot openly react as now too many people are watching her and with that she previously did feel bad about what she had done too. So let's see what happens in the future. Lakshya- well, I don't see how he can really contribute there so yes I guess I am minimising a lot of characters to focus more on SwaSan.

It was a heart touching update.

In chapter 24 I really loved the character of ramprasad maheswari. He witnessed the event and supported swara and sanskar. It was really nice. After starting the story the character of ramprasad was silent. But he is great personality. He understood his sons intentions and support him. But sanskar was also unaware about this. He is good father.

When he knew about his son was a traitor, he never tried to protect him. But he realized the truth and he secretly start to support him.

It was a nice turn in the story. Some one knows the truth and supporting swara and sanskar. And Durgaprasad maheswari also supported him. As a king, father he understood his mistakes. He misunderstood sanskar and sanskar suffered a lot.

But in the case of swara, her condition was pathetic. Her own father had no faith in her. She was shattered after hearing the words from her father. As usual, by drama ragini became good in every ones eye. The slap of janaki was a right decision. She deserves it.

She betrayed her sister, tried to kill her. She snatched the happiness of her sister.

The mind of swara is like a volcano.

She wanted to protest against the situation, wanted to prove her innocence, but she is helpless.

But she raised her voice and supported sanskar.

It is really a difficult condition for swara.

In the eyes of society, she is characterless girl, who cheated her fiancee and eloped with his brother.

She is a disgrace for her family.

And the Devendra's brutal behavior shattered her completely. She only like loneliness now. She hate mob.

Because of her, her father is hating her mother too. The pain is unbearable for her.

Please don't apologise, you can see how late my reply is. I hope the camp went well and you are settled back into the routine. Thanks for your lovely comments and detailed analysis for both chapters like always.

Glad you enjoyed 24. Ram is a very special character to me personally. I have tried to explore him in my other FFs and have tried to often sketch out a detailed back story to him. Here I wanted to show that he had real substance. Sanskaar has a silly mother, at least his father can be sensible 😉. I like my twists as you know so I was really happy that the Ram revelation went down so well. Durga Prasad is now making amends, and wants to set things right. It doesn't take back what happened with Sanskaar but at least it is the right thing to do. Swara . Ragini took centre stage like always. It's not that her father doesn't love her or even deep down believe her, he is just too weak to believe his other daughter is really evil. Just like Lakshya is- two peas in a pod those! Janaki had to step in as Ragini was crossing her limits. Swara had to speak up for Sanskaar- they are a team after all 😃. I don't think Swara is as reviled as she was before, I think Sanskaar's open acknowledgement about what had happened plus her own heroic actions have really helped so I wouldn't worry that much that Swara has come back to total ostracisation- she hasn't. The biggest issue is the hypocrisy and society's pressure on women- a situation like Sita- she is pure but people will still point fingers as they can 🤢. But of course she has Sanskaar always 😃

In the chapter 25 it was a treat for swasan fans.

While reading the update, I really felt bad for swara. The beautiful memories she shared with sanskar was following her. She tried to forget it. But it was impossible for her. Because she lost her heart. She was only a lifeless body.without sanskar, swara was incomplete.

Some memories are really strange. It is unforgettable and it will be the reason of our happiness, because of that memories we will live our whole life. But it will be painful to.our laugh will filled with tears. Because that memories will never will happen in future.

In the life of swara, she loves sanskar madly. But she can't confess her love. She is ready to sacrifice her happiness for him. Because their love is pure.

She is ready to face insult,but due to her some one is insulting sanskar is unbearable for her.

She can't live without him. But for him it is needed.

Sometimes our heart want something, but our brain will not allow us.

Swara is facing the similar condition. Her mind want his presence. She can only feel safe in his embrace.

So glad you loved 25. You are very right in the way you have so perfectly captured Swara's turmoil. The heart wants what it wants but we sometimes force ourselves to deny its demands. The pain is even worse than as we are really going against the natural order of things. The only real place she belongs, the only solace she can find is with her Prince and until she acknowledges and gives in to him overcoming the hurdles in between, the angst cannot disappear. But MU or not, she will not stand by and hear Sanskaar insulted. Neither of them will in that way abandon each other 😃

But...

And the condition of sanskar is also not different. He also wanted to protect her from all the hurdles and for him, she is his life. He wanted to marry her.And wanted to gave her all the happiness in the life. But after hearing her rejection, he is helpless. He had no solution to solve the problem.

But the love for swara is strong.

Sanskaar is of course in the same way- he feels the pain, the loneliness, the frustration too.

The dresses, puppet, and the Pooja plate are the memories of that days. To destroy it will broke her heart.

Only sanskar and his memories gave happiness for her.

Janaki and sharmista recognized it. But it is not easy thing to accept it.

Swara was missing sanskar, and for watch his glance she made a attempt to meet veer.

At there she met uttara. They share a friendly bond. And the entry of Pawan was really nice. He indirectly told about his friend and his feelings for her. It was a nice sequence.

The talk of sujatha with janaki and sharmista was a bit of torture for me. Sujatha always misunderstood swara. And now she knew that swara well. But she can't accept her as daughter in law. But why?

Because of her son, swara lost her reputation. But shemail

Only thinking about her sons life.

And the exchange conversation between Pawan and sanskar sanskar was awesome.

The true friend understand our feelings without word.

Pawan understood it and gave a idea to meet her.

So glad you enjoyed all those sections which were partly to show the difficulties they face as shown by Sujata's attitude which wasn't just hers, others would think like her too unfortunately 🤢 and then of course some much needed relief in the little break she had with Uttara and Pawan 😃

Sanskar was running to meet his sweet heart. He was missing her badly. Her fragrance was filled in his memories. The sound of her bangles. He was feeling her presence in the room.

He find her in the lawn. At that time, the rain started and she ran from there and he followed her.

The nature was also supporting their. It made a beautiful atmosphere for this love birds. After seeing her he was standing in the zenith of happiness. Parting from her is really painful and to see her he was ready to jump on the windows.

After seeing him swara was also happy. He asked about why she didn't tried to meet him? And swara also asked the same question.

His presence was a cool breeze for her. She was melting like a ice.

And the kiss was also nice. But again swara ran from there. But the last words of sanskar gave me a new hope.

His love will won, no the love is a mutual feeling here. So there love will won.

That whole meeting was indeed about the build up and then eventual giving in, no matter how temporary to their overwhelming feelings for one another. I am really happy to read your take and see you enjoyed it so much 😳

And what will be next move of raging?

Let's see what if anything Ragini gets up to next. She is rather hindered now as she is being watched and cannot afford to raise suspicion too obviously.

The update is well written.

One request, I know it is your creation but could you give me permission to jump into that world and whack their heads together, trust me, they do need it. I mean, how long are they going to go around hurting each other and themselves with their refusal to actually talk about their feelings. And you, as their author, have your own agenda while we suffer along with them. So...

😆😆- sure sure - full permission- jao and bang their heads and those of their parents too! But I doubt if that will even help. After all, it's always easy to have perspective when you are sitting back and observing but not when you are right in the midst of things, dealing with your own jumbled emotions and then trying to work around all else too no? As for them talking it out, if it were that easy, what would there be to recount? 😉 So all in good time and until then- yesss- sufferrr!! 😈

So Uttara is falling, no, has fallen for our Pawan and he is not immune to her charms either though he promises himself not to fall into the trap of love. Poor Pawan, little does he know, that however much we try to sheath our hearts in the garb of sense and sensibility the heart wants what it wants. Pawan, obviously being Sanskaar best friend, would not respond in any fashion that would be considered dishonourable, which in the immediate situation would mean no response.😆 A worse case of love attack than Swara and Sanskaar.

Uttara 😆 She's Sanskaar's sister- determination is her middle name. Pawan will definitely want to resist- he feels all the differences- birth, station, the relation with her brother, his own honour etc etc. Exactly as you say thought- as if the heart listens to what we want it to do. And he should just check the example of his best friend and his princess 😆

And I know I am jumping much ahead of myself, but considering Sujatha's characterisation she is surely going to be more than upset when the matters come to her notice. I am confused as to how to really place her, she is really not as frivolous as she makes out to be and you did mention that she felt she did what she had to, so my take is that deep down she would not actually object to Swara but would not appear to do so as she feels that she would have to follow the dictates of society - and society (which everyone in every age conveniently forget, is made up of people like you and me) has it varying stances on ''pedigree'. Reserving my final judgement on her.

You are actually so accurate on Sujata- you saved me a massive explanation 👏. I think the difficulty when people read chapter by chapter is that they sometimes start judging characters in isolation and as a "snap shot" which is of course totally not the way people or life works. Someone doesn't have to be "good" or "bad" to react a certain way- we all make human decisions and mistakes. Some people lean more a certain way than others but most are not outright good or evil, although some are of course. Sujata as you say, she goes with the momentarily felt "rights" of her rather shallow mind and such is the case here but yes she isn't a totally stupid woman either as at times she does see more than she let's people know. The fact she may not act on those sensible impulses is a different thing.

Sharmishta realised that Swara has developed feelings for Sanskaar and that frightens her, her own life a vivid example of how differently society treated men and women for the same action. A vermilion marriage for Sharmista marred her for life while Shekar was excused. Though Swara's state was much different, Sharmishta rightly feared for Swara - despite Sanskaar's vehement and public declaration of Swara's innocence and bravery, it would be rendered naught in the winds of gossip which sooner or later buffet their lives. And both she and Janaki were also right to be worried that if Swara did indeed develop deep feelings for Sanskaar, it would make life for her even more difficult.

Yes, Sharmishtha and even Janaki have both lived with the effects of a marriage that has been very difficult for different reasons of course. Shomi for the reasons you say and Janaki as the one who had to sacrifice for her respect and family so of course they would fear for Swara as without the official stamp of marriage on the relation, it means little.

But then it is also pitiable that they do not want to really think things through and see whether Ragini was indeed guilty as declared by Sanskaar and now hinted at by Swara. I think that some part of them does believe him but are afraid of facing the repercussions of proving them; in their opinion, Swara was almost lost there was little point in losing Ragini too???

I think they do deep down believe Swara but to be fair to them- what are they to do? I don't think they go as far as to say that Swara is lost so why lose Ragini but more like- we have Ragini to deal with, what do we do with her. No matter what they think they cannot set out to deliberately destroy her marriage and have her shunned as that would be going against the grain as parents. So they are stuck and see-sawing but of course Swara will bear the brunt the most for now

With the men, Durga Prada's dictate that events between Swara and Ragini would be delegated to the background in view of more pressing matters of state! As a king and statesman his stand is correct but would this not be further detrimental to Swara; agreed Sanskaar is very earnest about Swara's security but is it enough to meet Ragini's manipulations considering that he would actually not be around Swara while Ragini would be around. His steps would take care of her physical safety but what about the mental assaults which have already commenced? I am worried for my SwaSan😭

Again, same as above- what can anyone immediately do but park that issue and see how things unfold. Unlike in our serials where people do all sorts of stupid "competitions" and all to prove right and wrong, I felt in real life if something drastic like this happened, it would split the family but most would try to brush it under the carpet until something overt happened so that their choice was clear. SwaSan of course again here bear the brunt but that is their test for their love

So we are back to that spot where Sanskaar had set the ball rolling when he turned on the jets to drench Swara in a desperate bid to prevent her from looking into the windows of his old haunt, that day he had felt anger at the thoughts her drenched silhouette invoked. And today when the heavens drenched them he is sure that his love would be enough for both of them and is determined to wed her. How he now wishes that she could look into eyes and read his soul; if she could she would have seen the depth of love he had for her. Karma is truly a b***h, isn't she?😉

Totally spot on about the setting chosen for that scene 😉 It was the real turning point where things changed determinately for all of them. Sanskaar's "plan" here had backfired for him where he suddenly felt that attraction for Swara and the start of that protectiveness which then marked the rest of their relation and still continues. So I wanted them right back where it started for this rather big step for them which shows the depth of feeling, MU be damned. And yes now the key difference is his determination here to make sure they are together come hell or high water. Karma is amazing for sure 😉

No no not at all!! There is no overact as such and I hope you didn't interpret the replies as saying that? See you don't have to like DP or any characters (except for SwaSan of course 😆) as the best thing about the comments is reading different takes on the different characters. For my part- I wrote them all so good, bad or ugly, I can in some way or the other relate to them all (except Devendra but even there he has a repellant fascination as I moulded him to be so utterly evil I guess 🤢). So when I explain, I am simply clarifying that most of them, DP included are not black or white Also you react chapter wise I guess so all I would say is, keep an open mind and see what comes next 😃. As for trusting Sanskaar- no one is saying he wasn't wrong but he is a King and his nephew had defied him about marrying a dancer and was eloping and then found with state secrets missing and a dead body in very suspicious circumstances. Yes he should have known Sanskaar wouldn't do that but he didn't - that was his error but too late to do anything about that now so he is doing the next best thing, that's all 😊

Isn't it like, everything related to Sanskaar keeps her occupied all the time? I mean, the Princess who would jump and hop in a fountain shower, feels no joy with the thought of rain and her legs involuntarily take her to the fountain, where she had enjoyed a rainfall' with her Prince! Even the thought of Sanskaar gives her such an excruciating pain. Oh my babies! I feel sooo bad for them. And I feel sooo happy getting this intensity!! Sorry, don't call me emotionless, but still, this angst and pain of separation which they are going through and then the desire all coming up resulting in loss of control was a treat! And the untimely rainfall! Well such downpours are considered bad omens na? I've just heard something like this; I'm not a stereotypic or superstitious person who believes in bad omens and all, but reading that sentence I just recalled that I've heard something like this! Is there any reference to this here? Or am I thinking too much?

Yes totally! Everything has changed for them both really. Swara is no longer the same of course- fundamentally changed and yes their angst is all the more as their love is so powerful and so intense, it can be no other way! Oh nothing emotionless about it- if so, I am the world's biggest sadist and masochist 😈. Hmm, I never knew that downpours were meant to be bad luck 😲 If anything I would have thought rain is auspicious but to be totally honest I don't believe in any of those things and oh no not at all, there is no hint here of anything like that. I find all that too K Series-like 🤢. Even when that sindoor scene happened some asked me if I was hinting that the sindoor fell but no I wasn't. It felt powerful in the scene and I used it and here I see rain as very romantic and passionate 😳rather than as any other omen so totally relax on that 😃.

I have a doubt! Did Shomi and Janaki believe Swara or no? Shekhar didn't that's clear. But did, these two IN THE END believe her or they were too happy to have a back and console her that they didn't even think about it? But of course, they are mothers, and mothers know their daughter inside and out. They could feel that she felt something for Sanskaar. How would it have felt when Sharmishtha would have asked her, about that vile wretch!! Ugh... Poor gal! She's already suffering hell and now the nightmarish memories of that particular hour! Swara wouldn't let anyone badmouth Sanskaar, just loved the way she clearly refused and objected her mothers' accusing Sanskaar. She clearly said that Ragini betrayed her and yet she wouldn't bear this accusation for Sanskaar. She loves him sooo much!! Such is love after all, unconditional, undying and true and pure! I understand Shomi's fears regarding Swara's growing feelings for Sanskaar, as she herself had to go through this, when accusations are laid upon the dignity of a lady. All the memories coming back to her, as Sanskaar wasn't there to hold her in his embrace and give her the solace that she needed, this was sooo good!! Just loved it.

Shomi and Janaki- yes, that's right. I think they do believe Swara deep down but what can parents (and to a large extent Shekhar also included) do when faced with this choice? I was saying in one of the other replies too. Sometimes in life people will deliberately not see what they don't want to- it is a form almost of self defence to blank it out as the choices that "seeing" would require take a lot of change and courage. Here Ragini hasn't openly showed her real face to them so they are in this terrible spot of what to do? Also what do they do with Ragini? If they themselves make a fuss she has to be kicked out and then what? As for Swara's feelings re Sanskaar- again they sense that but don't want to fan it as they think it can go nowhere now given the circumstances. So they all bury their heads in the sand . But yes one thing I was clear on- Swara has to be as staunch as Sanskaar in her support. I hate one sided relations and if you love someone so much put your money where your mouth is and speak up for your men so I keep making Swara do that as much as Sanskaar does for her 😃. The time period was such that men were always honoured, and women are always treated as toys to be played with!! So agreed! Shru, you do remember na? Devendra has to die, very painfully as a matter of fact. That monster still haunts Swara in her dreams, and he is all safe in hiding?? NO!! Not accepted! He deserves a torturous death, about the punishment of Prometheus like I earlier mentioned, just that he should die of course! Shru, is there more to this betrayal that Sanskaar has got? You've been repeatedly mentioning in Sanskaar's POV that he still suspects internal foul play, so is there something more? Another traitor to be unveiled? Well, I'll be waiting! Sanskaar won't take any chances of course when it comes to Swara. He wants her guarded and he will go against the world, to have people agreed to him!! Such a darling he is!!

I think that chauvinistic thinking exists today even but even worse in that time period. Unfortunately too women are the worst with double standards and judging other women especially and making their life hell. Devendra- we will deal with him in time 😉. Well as to more revelations, there are of course some mysteries left so there is the whole thing of how exactly the treason against Sanskaar was manipulated and also where the key code is so all those I still need to answer. Sanskaar knows someone helped Devendra- who that was he has to work out. But yes he doesn't want to take any risks with Swara but of course danger does lurk around them. Why is Pawan ignoring Uttara? Mujhe ye samajh nahi aaya! What's the need to ignore her? Pawan directly asks, if she thought she might meet someone else by chance. Woah! Bold hu! And then Swara's my friend VEER and Pawan's VEER misses you a lot, was amazing!! Both knew what each other implied yet Veer came in b/w...lol!! The way Swara teased Pawan was hilarious!! Jeez I loved it<3 Amazing! Ah!! Our beloved Sujju! She wouldn't have Swara as her bahu! Well, let's see. Idk why, but I don't feel angry at all at this convo that she had with Janaki and Sharmishtha. I should have, but I didn't! Infact, I found it rather amusing! God, I've gone mad I guess. Poor Swara, such a severe pain inflicted upon her. I really do wish that this is not elongated long!!

Your jokingly asking why Pawan is ignoring Uttara right? 😕😆 The man is running away from love! He should ask his best friend how that works out 😆😆 Pawan and his teasing 😆 but he had to get it back from our feisty princess and boy did she give it back good! 😃 Sujju is Sujju! Well, this was the most EXCITING and THRILLING of all three!! Pawan teasing Sanskaar was ROFLMAO!! Hilarious damn!

Aowww Gawd!! Sanskaar would have been so jealous and vexed at that. Oh my poor Prince!! He is craving for her presence. He misses her sooo much!! The way he had been thinking all about Swara, his touch, her presence, her feel! He's totally smitten and lovelorn! And the way, he saw her there and his eyes enlivened, was sooo sweet!! Made me go all Aww and OMG! And both of them were sooo happy to see each other! Damn, I love this. That word...when he utters...no calls- Swara! God the feel! When too deprived souls, finally get to see each other, damn the emotions!! I really love this<3. The way he says, Well it's nice to see you again Swara' had me smiling like anything. Sanskaar's questions were making her sooo nervous!! Aw... and then she blurts out, that even he didn't come...!! This two honeslty know how to make a person smile even when his/her mood is totally off. Love you for portraying and characterizing them like this Shruti! Nymph and Mermaid! Just beautiful and cute nicknames he has kept for her and hearing them makes her heart thud like wild!! Oh, I just loved this chapter beyond words buddy!! Too beautiful and just awesome and amazing!
