that was a stunning update ... still feeling scared for swara and sanskar.. you have beautifully depicted what agony swasan went through at the hands of devendra.. I could barely control my tension while reading it.. thankfully swasan kept their wits and now devendra has been wounded... but what about his soldiers.. I hope swasan are able to escape.. and I so dearly want sanskar to kill that animal bagri..

Shruti my friend,

First of all i am asking sorry for my late reply.

While reading the update felt sad for swasan 😭

Sanskar was in a helpless condition.

The Devendra is a cruel man.

While reading the previous update from the villager, the cruel behavior of Devendra and his army was revealed.

He misbehaves with women and use them for the momentarily pleasure. He is a devil.

In previous update the change in the behavior of swara have a reason. She wanted to save sanskar.

While swara was saying yes to Devendra for their friendship I was little confused.

But she was not facing sanskar and she avoid the eye contact between sanskar.

Sanskar was helplessly call her name. I was little confused for my prediction.

But in swara's eyes the concern for sanskar was visible.

And sanskar was also ready to sacrifice the secret of key for swara. When Devendra asked the key sanskar was ready to sacrifice his life. But for her he was ready to sacrifice it.

And sanskar realized that Devendra is a viper. A wolf in lamb's coat.

And he tried to misbehave swara. But at the end swara gave a beautiful reply. Really loved it.

The Devendra early realized the fact that swara is important for sanskar. He was worried for their closeness At last sanskar got the sword. I believe he will escape with swara.

Because they have to expose the real traitor.

And I forgot a important hint in the story. In the palace of maheswari's Devendra have messengers. I think so many other people also involved in the traitor story.

It was a awesome update. But some events were really horrible.

It was terrifying to read about what's going to happen to Swasan.
Oh that lecherous Devendra,what a disgusting creep.

Poor Swara she is such a pure soul who has no idea that men could be evil as him.
She thought she could fool him to free Sanskar. But the guy is a Devil's spawn who easily saw through her ruse.But Swara, being the brave person that she is, went ahead in her plan to free Sanskar even after she understood Devendra's foul proposal.
Oh how she suffered at his hands.I was left teary eyed.
How horrifying it must have been to suffer so much.
Hopefully she doesn't become too traumatized after this.
But then Sanskar is there and I'm sure he will help her to come out of it.

And Sanskar,what rage and blinding fury he was in to see Swara suffer.
Just waiting to see Sanskar rip that Devil into pieces.

The way you described his rage and Swara's sufferings,it was as if it was a live thing and not just words.
I don't know how to put in words about this but it felt as if I was watching everything happening live.

I can't tell you enough as to how much I love your story.
It's just amazing.

I was so touched when you Res'd so quickly and had the PM exchange with me- thanks for your love to DK and me!

I see that this chapter has really caused strong reactions. Indeed, poor baby Swara- for an innocent pure soul like her to go through this 😭. And yet she was brave and saved the day really by managing to get Sanskaar free as they were both totally doomed otherwise. Sanskaar genuinely went through hell- hence my title- applies to them both. For him not to be able to help her, would have been beyond torture.

I was rather affected writing and if it came across as a live thing, it was because I genuinely felt like a part of me was living it and it was not pleasant I can tell you!

Awww- your last line truly made me feel blessed- thank you hon!!

Firstly, awww- I am so sorry honey- I have really caused pain huh? This is the problem with writers, we get so carried away by the world we create, we start to genuinely live in it, good, bad and ugly all- this was definitely the latter two huh? But wow- you really were affected by the horror huh!

As a writer I rejoice that everyone felt all that I needed them to, to take this story where it needs to go but as a person I felt terrible too for my own characters and in a way for readers too.

Devendra is beyond any bad words we can give him no? I wanted a truly vile villain as to get one over a man like Sanskaar he cannot be comical or stupid and it looks like I have done that!

Swara was the real star here no? Yes, she not only bought time, she managed to wound that disgusting creep as badly as you could hope. Let us see how the battle plays out but I keep saying to everyone on DK- expect the unexpected

Thanks so much for the quick and ever kind comments you had posted. Btw- I have literally hardly slept, could not rest and despite sleeping mega late was up 2.5 hours before my already early morning alarm!

Ya they are many,he is only one with a delicate princess to save..but he will do it...because he can,he is one man army type of warrior...A after the war,sanskar will heal her,because it is really a biggest trauma for her.

Wow- your routine sounds like my current one!

Yes, this was indeed a very dark and depressive chapter and brutal but I had to show the real danger and this is all part of what will forge SwaSan as much as its painful. Devendra is beyond words disgusting- made me sick and I created him! 🤢

Well, the end as you say leaves us with a freed and more importantly dangerously furious Sanskaar, so whilst outnumbered he will do damage, but whether this is enough or not, you will see in 18! A lot of stuff in DK doesn't always go as totally expected. Yes, Swara will need serious support but there none of us have any fear huh?

What a chapter.! Devendra is truly a bas***d. I was hoping for some divine intervention the whole time I read this chapter. Damn, it wasn't Pawan! It was Bagri. Another a**hole! Your villains are amazing! What hell have SwaSan found themselves in.! Shruti, brilliantly written. Writing such scenes takes tremendous effort. You have truly outdone yourself here (again). The emotions you have brought in me as a reader of disgust, dread, hate, helplessness and hope as the chapter end should be a tell of how brilliant this chapter is written and how well your plot/storyline is moving forward.

SwaSan trying to distract Devendra from the other towards themselves. Devendra didn't buy Swara's act but took great pleasure in it anyways. *shudder* You know I absolutely love that this world has alcohol just for the fact that villains in stories end up just like Devendra did when they imbibe it. He didn't have his wits about. And Swara was able to give him what he deserves. I hope desperately that Sanskaar kills Devendra even though he is surrounded by soldiers.
Thank you so much for not ending this one as a cliffhanger before releasing Sanskaar. It was a balm over the turmulous chapter you have provided. Fabulous work Shruti.

I so wait for your prompt comments after every chapter and you never disappoint with such lovely observations and your kind praise means so much to me - mmmwah. I genuinely see your love for DK you know in your comments 😳.

I cannot tell you how tired I feel. I plotted the outline out for 18 and wanted to make at least a start but have literally not slept most of the night and worked all day and am so behind with replies too, so I think today will be as early a night as I can make it and then I will have to continue later with the new chapter. Devendra is beyond vile and no, the old acquaintance was Bagri- not Pawan coming as unexpected help here.

I am so touched to read you describe how you felt and attribute that to my writing 😳😳.

Devendra was not going to fall for Swara's rather obvious trick which might have just worked on someone less nefarious but he is such a psycho - he enjoyed the cat and mouse game so played it. 🤢🤢 You are so right about alcohol- kuch toh kaam aaye 😆😆, it dulled his edge somewhat along with his over confidence that she couldn't do anything.

Oh I didn't want to be even more horrible and leave a cliffhanger after what Swara had to bear! 😆
