*Updated for Chapter 17*
Shruuu !! This is a wonderfully written chapter, the suspense, the dread, the feeling of helplessness, I felt it all !! Bravo really !
Swara is my true hero here !! She really went all out in trying to distract that lechorous piece of crap **Devendra...ugh...🤢...totally and completely detest him**
Supremely brave of her to attempt and hoodwink DSR into believing she was an unwilling captive of Sanskaar and wanted nothing more than to go home. She tries to use her innocent face and appearance to further her cause but that has a completely opposite and unwanted effect becuase DSR is a dog and he sees through it all ! He's not baited, infact entraps her into his depraved plans !! *what kind of nonsensical royals do they paalo man* !!
True to her Rajput-ness, even though she sees that she's not succeeding as much as she'd hoped to, she still sticks to her story and ploughs on !! Not dwelling too much on DSR's action because...it gave me the creeps and I really worried for her safety !! He's proved that he's a nutjob of the first order and completely bereft of any moral compass !! *still eeewing*
Swara's plight when she faces the worst of it is heart wrenching, and even worse because even at that juncture she's still trying to make sure DSR doesn't hurt Sanskaar as much. I whoooped with joy when she picks up that dagger to wound him and only wish she had done him more damage !! But seriously, to go through all that and still be in her senses to free Sanskaar is only something that the brave and do and I believe Swara through this chapter has proved her worth !! I don't think anyone can now doubt her grit !
Sanskaar...my heart went out to him. It must be horrible to witness such atrocities being committed to the one you love so much, and being unable to do anything about him. Throughout his roars and angry howls, all you can see is how much pain he feels...something that DSR latched on to therefore increasing his assault on Swara !! To know what the man is capable of, and to see the danger that Swara put herself in on his account, must naturally rip him apart !! And then to be visited by the old nemesis *who i hope he kills violently in the next installement*...eeks...
When she frees him, sword in hand as he kisses her forehead...its reassurance to both her and himself and probably also an apology !! Such a small gesture, but so loaded with meaning.
In the last update, I was saying that DSR should basically just kill Sanskaar, because once Sanskaar is freed (thanks to S's efforts and the fact that the arrogance of the stupid man was his downfall), he will not spare him. Even if an army appears *as they are now poised to fight*. I think DSR underestimated teh worth of Swara in Sanskaar's eyes and will feel the wrath painfully !! *whooopeee*
Totally waiting for the blaze of glory in the next part, but also at the same time worried about Swara's PTSD...I only hope that the two of them are able to stay strong and give each other the support. Sanskaar needs to make sure she doesn't shatter !
You've written this chapter so well, even with its less than appealing villain, it still grips you. I kept trying to coax myself to read faster so I could scroll down to the light at the end of the tunnel !! Never wanted a chapter to end sooner...and maybe that's what you were going for ? :)
I'll see you at the next chapter...you take rest and don't worry about the 18...you deserve the break ! Relax, recuperate and rejoice :)
P.S : Thanks for not makign PKJ the traitor...phewww...also are merry men appearing in the next chapter...*i know you'll say wait and watch...so telling myself that :P*
as usual..P&J in abundance for you...mwaaah...
