Dear Sharon,
That was a very...how to put it...a heart warming update. The SwaSan moments were very lovely, which is nothing extraordinary, we are so enamoured by them that even when they fight, we can go into a dream mode.

What really warmed the very cockles of my heart were Ragini and Laksh, her realisation and regret for wasting four valuable years, her honesty and Laksh's understanding (seriously, Laksh here is such a great guy, usually all fics portray him as impulsive, brash and immature, but the one you have envisioned is a very strong and mature guy👏). I was simply bowled over by honest way they dealt with each other and the genuine attempts they made to move forward. Agreed it was Ragini who had to do the most, but if Laksh was not willing to give her a chance, she would never be able to truly mend the relationship. I am not sure if she told him that Sanskaar was the man she had never been able to get over, but given your portrayal of Laksh, I presume he suspects.

I loved that line - "there is nothing to forgive but a lot to forget" and the other one "be honest and do not worry about doing the right thing, because there is no such thing."

Very profound truths those two statements are, something which would be nice if all of us could remember in our lives.

The other thing that I admired was how realistic you kept RagLak - even though they are willing to move ahead, you showed that Ragini still does not know Laksh and he is understanding enough to be appreciative of her efforts but prefers to teach her about himself (he is doing what he said, being honest)

I did love this update and I do love this SS.

love,
Nyna

PS: I still have to get back to your lovely comment on my OS - I will do so during the course of the day. Time seems to be in short supply😭

Hi Nyna,

We are bewitched by SwaSan and you are absolutely true that even their fighrs are adorable to us. Spoiler Alert: You might just have that at the next update. 😉

That was a tough scene to write. Most of my readers are SwaSan fans and I didnt want to bore you guys with RagYa romance. Glad that you found it welcome. Yes, even I have written fics where Lucky is the immature guy while Sanskaar is Mr. Perfect. When I found the idea of Ignorant Crossroads, I made sure I challenge the standard characteristics that define our characters. Thats where you find a mature, strong principled Lakshya.

That line was so Sanskaar when I wrote the previous update. That doing rhe right thing was required for that scene to move on. Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts there.

RagLak have a long way to go however, we now have rhe confidence that they will get over any obstacles in their way. Whether Laksh knows about Sanskaar, or how he would react when he knows the truth, you will have to wait for my further updates.

Thanks a lot for reading and appreciating my efforts. Hope I can get the next update soon.

Cheers
Sharon

Res for ch-8 Sharon dear. 😳
Unresed. 😃
Superb update! 👏 Loved both SwaSan and RagLak convos and moments. 😃 So now that Sanskar is going to discuss something with Laksh, is he going to tell him about his and Ragini's past?? 😕 And I'm really worried about SwaSan's fight with each other. 😔 And eagerly waiting to know that how Laksh comes to know about it and his reaction to it. 😉 Update soon. 😳 Thanks for the pm. 😃
With love,
Aheli.

Dear Sharon,
Just could not hold back, was saving it to read when I could be in a better frame of mind, but then I could not resist. And am I glad that I read it.

As Nita wrote, Laksh is the hero of this tale, the mature and sensible one to whom Sanskaar also goes for advice. Which brings us to the issue at hand with Swara and Sanskaar, she is still the same, believes being right is important, not realising that truth is relative, How does one choose between being honest to the point of being brutal and being oblivious to the truth so as to be happy? No easy answers, even what Laksh said involves a high degree of subjectivity.

Somehow, I tend to agree with Sanskaar, not that Ragini should hide her past relationship from Laskh, but that she is sole person to make that choice, and Swara should not interfere unless Ragini asks for advice. But then Swara is not one to think beyond her perception of right and wrong. And that leaves me a little worried.

Sorry for the small comment, but I am terrified of the word RES - I have a never ending, ever pending list of those and I do not want to add to it.

Best
Nyna

PS:I share Ragini's passion for pens, and the Mont Blanc Sapphire Roller
Ball is a dream to write😊
