Top 5 Scenes Of The Week : Swaragini *Swara's Confession And SwaSan's Heartbreak*

The moment every Swara-Sanskaar fan was waiting for finally came but the heart-break and pain it brought along is something that even words would fail to express.

The scene starts with Sanskaar getting several notes from Swara before she finally comes to meet him. She tries to initiate a conversation which he tries to avoid but her innocent question 'Kya tumjhe nahi chahte?, Kya tumhe ab mujhse pyaar nahi hai" knocks the air out of Sanskaar because he never expected Swara to be so blunt. Sanskar refuses to meet Swara's eyes and lies that he does not love her anymore. Swara does not give up easily and asks Sanskar to swear on her that he is truly over her, which ofcourse Sanskaar cannot bring himself to do because he is still very much in love with her.

Sanskar tries to avoid answering Swara but Swara whose heart had won over her mind, who knew with a surety unlike before that she was in love finally confesses to her husband that she is in love with him, that it took her some time to realize the same but she truly loves him; but Sanskaar who is hurt by Swara's action of doubting him a few days back (Ragini's Kidnap), who very much fears yet another rejection coming his way refuses to accept Swara's love and instead ridicules her.

It's not a hidden fact that Sanskaar is still very much in love with Swara but right now the proverb that suits him the most is "Once bitten twice Shy". His first love Kavita was killed but he learned to move on in life. Love happened to him again and the woman who he fell in love with aka Swara refused to accept his love because at that point of time she thought that she could never fall in love again. He was OK with it, but when Swara doubted him it was a pain he couldn't cope up with, a betrayal of the trust they shared and it broke his heart that she thought so little of him. And it scared him that she had the power to break him. When Swara realized that she was in love it was a little too late because Sanskaar couldn't help but believe that she was not in love with him rather wanted to simply rectify everything in her life. He rebukes her by saying that she has misunderstood her habit aka him, her time with him, her relationship with him as love and nothing else. In short when she laid her heart bare, Sanskaar's fears of another heart-break forces him to refuse her love.

What makes the scene extraordinarily beautiful is Sanskaar and Swara's pain. When Swara hugs Sanskaar from behind, when she said 'I love you Sanskaar' for the very first time to him he was rendered speechless. It was something he yearned to hear, it was something which he had hoped for in the depths of his heart for months but when it was finally uttered he couldn't reciprocate or rather he chose not to reciprocate. Every fiber within him wanted to say 'I love you too Swara' but all he could manage to do was break free of her embrace and put some distance between them.

I am not blind towards Sanskar's pain and fears but this is Swara we are talking about. Sanskar knows better than to believe that Swara would declare her LOVE for him simply for the sake of the family, or righting the wrongs. Sanskar knows love is not something Swara would take or treat lightly, and that she would never utter those words unless she meant it and yet he questions her love and even assumes that she may be admitting the same because she needs a reason to stay back all of which was hurting him too as much as it was hurting her.

Swara is aware that she hurt Sanskaar, but she can't understand why he wouldn't give her a chance. All she wanted was a chance to prove her Love and he was denying her even that, and even Swara knew in the depths of her heart that what Sanskaar truly wanted was to give her that chance but he couldn't. Seeing these two who deserves every chance at happiness, at love and life deny themselves the same would break your heart. And to end the sequence the makers drop in the final bomb in the form of the sad version of the song 'Chalte Chalte' playing in the background reflecting SwaSan's pain, as they cry their hearts out.

Varun and Helly's portrayal of Sanskaar and Swara would definitely tug at your hearts and the beauty with which the pain, misery and suffering is shown would leave you misty eyed. Definitely one of the best angst scenes on TV so far and undoubtedly one of the best this week.
