I always love a strong no nonsense Swara and her pining for Sanskar was the cherry on cake! Loved loved how Sanskar applied color to Swara! Oh I'm waiting for Holi now!😃

Loved it!

Thanks so much 😊 I wanted Swara to pine for Sanskaar, miss him a lot. He had been wearing his heart on his sleeve for so long, it was time she also reciprocated with equal intensity, na? 😉

Glad to hear you liked how Swara handles Lakshya -- with the special "scalding milk facial" 😆. Ans I enjoyed writing the ending---how SwaSan reunite and put the Holi colors on each other, so I am very happy to hear you liked it too!

By the way, when you have time, please do read my earlier TS "Old Sins Cast Long Shadows" and tell me what you felt.

Viji 🤗 amazing OS!! Swasan yearning for each other was so beautifully described. I loved reading Swara's pov. You description was perfect. Loved how you associated her favorite color to her mood.

You made my dil khush by giving devarji some awesome scenes. Him covered in hot flavored milk has been a treat to read and imagine. If only this happens on the show!! The disgust and uncomfortable feelings swara experienced in his presence were nicely contrasted with the warmth and the sense of security she feels in sanskaar 's arms.

The best part was them coloring each other. The cheek color was similar to the holi scene of KY2, though the emotions were slightly different. The attraction and passion was a little subtle here and it was mostly about the serenity they felt in each others presence colored with love. The "I missed you" in the end was a perfect beginning to the road of "I love you".

Thanks for the PM!!!

Hey...thanks so much for your comment. 😊. Very glad you liked it. I wanted to show Swara yearning for Sanskaar as well, pining for him when he was away.

I wanted to associate her favorite color--blue (which is actually my favorite 😛), with the immense, infinite nature of Sanskaar's love for her, and in turn what she has started feeling for him. And yeah, like you rightly said, they were both having a severe v case of the blues 😉

I really enjoyed making Swara give her creepy Devar ji a special scalding milk facial 😆. Glad you liked that.

I loosely based the ending holi scene on a previous fave serial of mine, IPKKND. But there were differences in the way the characters reacted and in the final conclusion. I wanted to make the SwaSan romance here a bit subtle and tender...the realization of their mutual love...with the promise of the "I love you" to follow soon. 😳

Viji,I have read this work, the day you posted it in IF,but I couldn't post my comment then. And your PM in the morning gave me the chance to read it again .

The best thing about your work is you know your characters very well . And while reading their feeling the readers will not get an impression that oh no, it is not the Swara ,Sujatha or Sanskaar we know.
I love the way you started the story with the first man in Swara's life and her first hand experience with the first man , her dad. The initial stages of her life without a father figure , no matter how good our upbringing is , the absence of one parent in our life cannot be bridged. The sense of insecurity aggravated when she was abandoned by the second man in her life. No wonder she feel so insecure with the word love . But yet again she fall in love with Sanskaar , cause he showed her what love is,rather than forcing her to love him , he slowly erased her insecurity .

People say that love has colors , some people associate it with pink, some with yellow, some believes that if love is mixed with passion and romance ,the color will be red . Their belief is in fact true , I think love is a rainbow of colors, being in love is a refreshing feeling and I don't think that words are required to prove it .but yes the three magical word will give us a confidence to dream .

Thanks a ton Kamala, for that lovely comment. 😊 Yeah, I did want to show in this one, how Swara would feel extremely insecure about "love", with the way both Shekar behaved with Shomi, and then Lakshya treated her. But the way Sanskaar is always by her side, showing his immense trust and faith in her, would reassure her that what he feels for her; and in turn what she is feeling for him, is the "real deal". 😉

You put the nature of love so well. Love really is a rainbow of lovely hues.

Glad you liked this OS.

Thanks so much 😊 Yeah, this was part of the 2-OS series (not continuation, just partner OS's to each other): "The Lights of Love"-- Diwali theme; and "The Colors of Love"-- Holi theme.

Very glad you liked it. I enjoyed myself thoroughly, writing about Lakshya getting a "Scalding Milk Facial". He really deserves it, na? 😆
