Rain...the mud smell...the freshness...awesome feel...

You captured the essence beautifully...loved how Sanskaar was all moody and cranky just like any other guy after a long day's work being stuck in traffic..hate it...

Try sitting in the traffic at NY or Bangkok when it rains...gosh you'll be gritting your teeth...you showcased that beautifully...

Very nicely written, Medha. Beautifully captured a slice of life in the monsoon...Where I live, we have the monsoons twice a year---south west and north east. So I'm like the Swara in your story--I love the rain. Run out to play in the downpour given half a chance! Haven't yet kissed in the rain though 😳 but after your lovely description, that's on my bucket list for sure:

No, I am not exactly a Gene Kelly fan...although Fit as a fiddle and Good morning are a few of my Mom's favourites.

Where I live...July to September is the monsoon season...and getting wet in the first shower is a tradition Mom firmly believes in. It used to be mostly with me, though, until I turned about 8-9 and firmly protested because, I am like a cat. When things get wet in rain..I would like dry firesides.😆

@bold...Certainly, you should try.😉

I wrote this one mostly inspired by one of the best couples ever...Nathan and Haley...from OTH. Kissing in the rain was something of their regular foreplay.😆

I loved the kiss in the rain, the lines there were so lovely. And the ending was fab- at the doctors the next day 😆. Lightened up my evening!

Yes, exactly. When rain hits...I would love a raincoat AND an umbrella. Best option is go straight in the car and drive home.😆 even then I somehow end up having belladonna the next day!😭

It was about nothing in particular, wrote it in about 10 minutes. Just remebered some of One Tree Hill Naley moments.😛
