[Past Recall: part 4]
He knew a fog cannot be dispelled by a fan and he was ready for it. He was ready to be a wolf in lamb's clothing.
Sanskaar came down in his dark brown jodhpuri pant, with cream coloured long sleeve shirt and snugly fitted matching coat with Nehru collar. He was looking extremely handsome.
When he came down, his eyes first fell on Swara, who was sitting on a stage with Laksh. She was looking splendid in her multicolour, heavy Ghaghra and plain dupatta with her trademark cute smile on her face. Everytime when Sanskaar spots her smiling, it brings an unknowing curve on his face too.
His smile faded away when he saw Laksh sitting alongside her, in blue sherwani and black chudidar, so close to her with her hand in his. He just knew at that time that sight didn't give him positive vibes. He pushed away his thoughts and decided to play the first trick of his game plan. He stated searching for his first target and there he found Ragini, smiling, dressed in a golden saari.
He marched toward her as he knew her smile was as fabricated as his at current moment.
"Bahot achchhe lagte hai naa Ragini, Laksh " He paused purposefully for a second and then continued "Aur Swara saath mein. Kyun?"
He was noticing sharply how the Ragini became cognizant and covered her facial expressions, not wanting Sanskaar to decode her hidden sentiments.
But Sanskaar was smart enough. He finally decided to manipulate Ragini to execute his plan. He knew she can be his partner in crime. If she is willing to join hands with him then it will become easy for him as well to carry out his hidden exertions.
"Tumhare liye ye sab asaan to nahi raha hoga na? I mean you were about to marry Laksh and I guess you loved him too, right? " He had taken the decision to involve Ragini in his plan far before but he just wanted to be assured.
He knew how dangerous it would become if after knowing his plan , Ragini would deny or reveal his game plan to anyone.
"Laksh se pyaar to aaj bhi karte hai Sanskaar par Swara hamari behen hai. Usse bhi utna hi pyaar karte hai hum. Agar wo dono saath khush hai to hum bhi unki khushi me khush hai" She covered her emotions.
She had an instinct from a very first day she met Sanskaar that this person can help her. When she came to know about Laksh's feelings for Swara, she was hurt, hurt beyond his imaginations. Then she made up her mind that it was her destiny. She tried to convince all family members to accept Lask and Swara's relation; even she influenced Swara also to accept Laksh's love without worrying about her life. Meanwhile she became a good friend of Laksh. He started talking to her openly and more friendly. It was all she wanted from him that instant. But gradually she realised her love for Laksh getting stronger, vigorous, and deeper. She suddenly started considering it as her fallacy to unite Laksh and Swara. Every time she saw Laksh and Swara together, happy, she felt something was burning inside her. And it was never go unnoticed by Sanskaar and he was firm to take the advantage of this.
Slowly the engagement ceremony started. Laksh and Swara exchganged the rings and took elders' blessings. All members blessed this couple wishing thier journey to the altar, their marriage would be blessed in all ways.
For them the journey of their love was begun. With this engagement, they have promised to each other before friends and families, that they were willing to share their hopes and dreams, as well as their disappointments and heartaches in life. They would establish a relationship build on trust, commitment and belief in one another. They would argue and air their differences when necessary and compromise when appropriate. They would be there for one another, through the great times and the not-so-great times.
A long tear escaped from Ragini's eye, seeing her love hooked to her sister and that too happily. But this didn't go unnoticed by Sanskaar. He has decided what would be his next step.
Sanskaar knew it was now just one month left for Laksh and Swara's marriage as the marriage date was fixed before the engagement. He had to hurry up with his plot.
[Next day]
It's been two weeks after the engagement. Till the time Sanskaar became a good friend of Gadodia sisters. He was there with Laksh and Swara in their each activity, and he included Ragini too in that purposefully. He wanted too ignite the old flames in her heart for Laksh. He badly wanted her to execute his plan further and he was on the right track.
They used to go for movies, lunch or dinner together. He was planting the seeds of jelousy in Ragini's mind. As the marriage preparation had also been started, he used to accompany them in their wedding shoppings also. At each place, in every situation he didn't forget to make Ragini recognize that she had made a mistake sacrificing her love else She would be there in Swara's place today with her love.
[Sanskaar's room]
"What are doing Sanskaar? Kya kar raha hai tu? Swara ki kya galti hai isme? Uske saath ye mat kar" his inner soul who's started caring for Swara has reported him.
But in a time his brain took over "Kavita ki kya galti thi Sanskaar? Uske saath phir ye sab kyun hua? Don't forget your mission; don't forget your last promise to Kavita. Don't mislay your focus Sanskaar, don't be an immature blind. Swara means nothing to you. Just remember one thing, when the BULLS fight, the GRASS suffers. And Swara's biggest mistake is that she loves Laksh. Don't let any emotion of yours come in between Sanskaar. "
During this time there was not a single day, not a single moment when Sanskaar didn't have this debate replayed in his mind, leaving him wakeful.
Days were running as usual, Sanskaar was definite that Ragini would call him soon and he was so right.
The seed of jelousy and burning, which was planted by Sanskaar in her mind, was growing slowly. The seed of the Sanskaar's thought was grown and became a plat of her decision.
Next day, Sanskaar was going home after finishing his work and he got a call from Ragini.
He smirked as his plan was working.
Rag: "Aap ne sahi kaha tha Sanskaar, hum bahot pyaar karte hai Laksh se. Hume aapki madad chahiye."
Sanskaar thought it was a right time to disclose his plan to Ragini and convince her to be his planmate.
Rag: "Hume milna hai aapse Sanskaar?"
San: "Ok. Meet me at the fortune park in half an hour"
Rag: "Ok"
[At fortune park, 6 pm]
Sanskaar and Ragini were sitting since an hour in the park, discussing the current scenario. Sanskaar had finally revealed his motive to her but he had kept some secrets hidden yet. He knew very well it would be not worthwhile to expose all the things at once. He should hide the master card for now.
"Laksh ko to kuchh nahi hoga na Sanskaar?" Ragini asked unveiling her concern for Laksh.
"Use kuchh nahi hoga Ragini. Trust me. Bas thode hi dino ki baat hai. Kya tum mere saath ho?" Sanskaar assured her and asked her was she ready.
Rag: "Apne pyaar ko pane ke liye hum har plan me aapke saath hai."
And they left the place, after determining the further movements. Their motives were diffent but this single plan would be going to help them to attain both the goals.
