Hi Shruti,
Had a bad dream last night, could not sleep anymore... So here I am reading Sanskar's letter to Ragini. As much as my inner evil surprised me in the dream world same had done by Sanskar's version of his and Ragini's earlier companionship.
To be honest I think yes, he was the first to see Ragini as she really was, in fact whatever old ragini others claim to know is just a hologram she made in order to please them. With sanskar there was no need of that.
But, was Sanskar who he really is while he was with her, is a debatable question. Had Ragini in her true self ever was capable enough she could have pulled the lost soul sanskar back towards light instead hoping up on hell express with him. But alas, she was not the chosen one for that...had she been...theirs would have been a different tale to tell.
There is one quality that highlights itself in this serious of letters, Sanskar's ability to understand. He knows Ragini to the last inch of self there is to know and would know exactly where to aim if he wants her fallen, in case they ever dual in future. But he, being the amazing person he is warns her of the fact...I found that admirable. He plainly tells his enemy all about his weakness and strengths and leave the decision of crossing or not crossing him up to that very person, I like this confidence of his and also the undying want to protect Swara against anything that might harm her.
There is a frankness in this letter, not like the bareness of the letter to AP or the straightforward-ness in the letter to Swara, but a frankness that would only tally with his Dupattewali dost, that was once Ragini.
They both have loved people who do not reciprocate that love, only Ragini isn't as strong as Sanskar to withstand the pain it offered, if she ever accepts his hand truely perhaps they can share a bit of that pain. If anyone can ever claim to share her pain and help her out of it I believe it is Sanskar, if she lets him.
I liked the way, he told her how that old Ragini would have been a much stronger woman, true to the last word. He did not promise her Lucky's love, which again is a good thing, we don't want Ragini on any delusions again right?
As this is the concluding part, I have to say it is a master piece. If Ragini ever reads this she might give up any plant hatching in her pea brain and see the truth of herself.
Now I can tell you for sure, this is my favorite letter from all the rest. It has the compassion, genuineness and also the real feelings of a friend, who might not let you wonder on the darkside even for a tiny moment.
Awesome job!
