Ragini was entering her room. Sankaar came in front.

"How many times have I told you, don't come in front of me!" Ragini said in disgust.

"but Ragini I..." He was feeling hopeless.

"I don't want to talk to you Sankaar." She said angrily.

"Ragini everything can be fine, if you want.." He tried to convince her.

"Sorry Sankaar, but you and your brother, both are late."

"Its never too late Ragini." Sanskaar gained courage. You remember that day, when you proposed Lakshya?"

Ragini got flash back.

"Lakshya, since the day I have known love, understand love, I have only loved one person. That's you. I know, our friendship started with a fight, but when it turned into love, I really had no idea.. I love u Lakshya, I love u a lot. I don't know what do you feel for me, but I... I love u, more than my life!"

"You remember, right?" Asked Sanskaar.

"Ragini, till love, its ok. But marriage..."

"Lakshya, the decision of marriage was yours only"

"My that decision was wrong."

"What do you want to say? Be clear!"

"Ragini, I know I like to travel with you, spend time with you but.."

"But what?"

"But you are not a married material!"

I also remember the day Sanskaar, when he rejected me!" Ragini said in teary eyes.

"Ragini.." He sighed.

"Sanskaar, don't enhance our pain, our wounds. For god sake, stay away from us." She said joining her hands and leaves to her room.

She sits on her bed and remembers.

FLASHBACK
Lakshya was standing near a bridge. Ragini comes running.

"Lakshya", she called.

He turns, she runs and hugs him.

"Lakshya I m so.. so happy!"

"Ragini i..." He was speechless.

"I know you are nervous. But don't worry, everything will be ok. I m with you." Her eyes sparkled when she spoke.

"Ragini, its not the matter. Actually i.." She didn't let him complete.

"I said na Lakshya, don't worry, my parents will be very happy to meet you."

"Ragini I am not meeting your parents." He said in one breath.

She was shocked.

"What do u mean by not meeting? Lakshya we have already talked about it. You agreed that's why I talked to them, now you say..." She wept.

"Listen Ragini, till love, its ok but marriage... I don't think it's the right time."

"Lakshya, the decision of marriage was yours only"

"My that decision was wrong." He sounded casual.

"What do you want to say? Be clear!" She was confused.

"Ragini, I know I like to travel with you, spend time with you but.." He turned to avoid eye contact.

"But what?" She said in a stern voice.

"But you are not a married material!" Tears rolled his eyes.

Ragini was in a dead shock! She couldn't believe her ears.

"What did you said? Say again." She turned him to face her.

"Look Ragini i..."

"If this was it, then why did you played this drama for so long? Why did you confessed?" She asked aloud.

"You confessed first not I!" He too raised his voice.
After a pause.
"You proposed me. It was you who named our friendship as love not I. It was you Ragini, you." His voice softened.

"Why did you accepted then?" She asked innocently.

"I didn't wanted to break your heart."

"Then what are you doing now? Lakshya I really don't know, why are you saying all this, but I know very well that you love me. I am damn sure you love me!" She put her hand on his chest.

"Ragini I am going Bangalore today. She is waiting for me there." He said as he push her hand away.

"Oh! Like, really? You are leaving me because you got someone else?" She asked.

"Look Ragini, I am sorry.." He tried to explain.

"No Lakshya, I am sorry, that I loved you, wasted my feeling on you. I am really sorry for that. But tell me one thing, what does she has, that I lack?" She demanded.

Lakshya couldn't tolerate questions from Ragini. He was committed for life in this relationship. But he had to break it up. He can't stand more. So he bursted out.

"You wanna know? Then listen. She is more beautiful than you, more intelligent than you, more understanding than you and..."

"And married material also?" She cut him. "am I right?"

"Ragini.."

"Enough Lakshya, you know what? Just go to hell! I don't wanna see your face any more. So good bye forever, Mr. Lakshya Maheswari!"

She left. Lakshya ended up with tears.

Present
Swara enters.

"Ragini, what are you thinking?" She asked as she shakes her.

"Nothing. Just..." He tried to hide her tears.

"You were thinking about Lakshya right?"

Ragini looks at her and nods her head in a yes.Swara sits beside her and they hug.

Night
Swara took out her diary

"Today I got an old memory, one of the most passionate time spend with Sankaar.
It was the time when we were returning from a friend's engagement. I had a surprise for Sankaar that evening when I was in a Saree. I knew Sankaar would love it and he did. He was going to drop me home when our car stopped and he said it will take time. It was raining and both were wet in the rain. We then saw a hut at some distance and ran there. We found no one there. I was shivering and Sankaar saw that.

He lighten up his lighter, it's a room with lump of hay on 1 side, broken woods, furniture, useless stuff, so sure no 1 will come there or no 1 mind if we stay there. Sankaar closed the door to stop the storm coming inside. It's getting colder and colder. Sankaar arranged the bone fire; I quickly came near to it. I was shivering. I was rubbing my hands to get rid of cold. While running hands in hairs my eyes fall on Sankaar, who was staring me for a long time. My heart start beating fast.
For diverting him I said, "So cold.. My saree is all wet..., trying to dry."

Sankaar without moving his eyes said, "then remove it."

I looked at him with wide eyes, now by his words I was sure of his intentions. I am Swara. Can't let him win!

I moved inside a room. He sat on the hay. After a while he got hit by something, he saw it's my earring, the rain of my jewelry started hitting him.

He shouted "what are you doing?"

I replied loudly from the back of hay lump " removing it"

He opened his mouth wide, got my saree on his face.

I came out covering my body from chest to thigh.

"So cold na?" I said teasingly.

"it's hot!" He replied.

I looked at him shortening my eyes. He smiled mischievously. He came near me and I turned to go but he dragged me. He kissed my ear, neck but I push him. He again pulled me. And this time, not letting me go... We fall on the hay. His kisses moved to my chin, neck to my bare shoulder. But I, as usual, teased him.

"Sankaar". He looked at me.

"Perhaps my saree dried." I said with a mischievous smile.

Sankaar smiled and stood straight. I too stood up and turned. He lowered his face smiling.

"I love you." I said romantically
.
He replied the same."

I really wish those days to come back.. But, the fact is.. Nothing can be like before!!!!
