Part 4: Sukoon





Swara and Sanskar were sitting on the wall facing the water. It was almost midnight. The roads were quite and the beach was empty. The only sound present was the whoosh of the wind. The surrounding was filled with the smell of the river, a quiet relaxing smell.

'kitna sukoon hai na yaha'' swara said slowly. Her hair waving like a flag in the wind.
'hmm..''
'Vo lehrein ko dekho apne aap aa rahe hain jaa rahe hain koi bandishei nahi koi rukavaat nahi''
Sanskaar looked at her.
then he looked front
Humari zindagi mein koi bandishei nahi hoti hain Swara yeh hum marei upar hain ki hum kaunsi chiz ko bandish samajh tai hai aur kaun si chiz ko azadi''
'yehi tou mushkil hai Sanskar kaise samjhenge ki kya bandish hai aur kya azaadi''
'Apne dil se poocho Swara shayad jawaab mil jaye''
Swara smirked 'Dil?? Dil se pooch kar bohut kuch kiya likin har bar dil ne galat jawaab diya aur dard mujhe mila''
'nahi swara dil kabhi galat jawab nahi deta yeh hum hai jo dil ki baath samajh nahi paate hain''
Swara slowly looked at him.
'Kya tumhare dil ne kabhi tumhe galat jawaab nahi diye?''
Sanskaar looked at her
'Nahi''
'tumhe kaise pata?''
'Kyun ki iss jawab se mujhe kabhi dard nahi mila''
Swara kept looking at him
kaise Sanskaar mainei tou abhi tumhare pyaar ko nahi apnaya kabhi tumhe koi khushi nahi di..phir.
'Kyun'' the word just slipped out of her mouth without her realization
'kyun ki uski haasi uski khushi uski jeeth main mujhe sukoon milta hai...aur jis chiz main mujhe sukoon milta hai who galat kaise ho saakta hai''
Swara slowly looked down and looked up at the river. Sankaar also did the same .
'Maine apne zindagi mein bohut larai ki kabhi apni maa kiliye kabhi apni pehchaan kiliye tou kabhi apni saachai kiliye...mujhe ab sirf sukoon chahiye''
'tumhe tumhara sukoon milega Swara''

none of them realized when the time flew by but their bodies surely did. Swara's exhausted body couldn't take it anymore amd slowly her eyes closed down and her head fell on his shoulder. Sanskaar was tired too but her comfort was the priority. He got a bit closer to her and she got more comfortable. Her silky hair was flying revealing her cheeks, her forehead...
Sanskaar held her cheek and brought his lips closer to her forhead but then he remembered something

Mera naam tumhare saath tabhi jure ga jab tum chaho gi

This is deceiving he thought. If Swara was awake she wouldn't have liked it so how can he hurt her trust. So despite of being so close that his breathe touched her forehead he tore himself away and let her sleep peacefully on his shoulder. But little did he know that she wasn't asleep and deep down inside she was amazed by his loyalty and his respect for her.

The sun was rising spreading light on the broken souls and enlightening their world
