Part 8

Morning is an important time of day, because how you spend your morning can often tell you what kind of day you are going to have. - Lemony Snicket

Sanskar squinted his eyes as the glow of the hot sun peaking through the slits of the curtain created havoc on him. He shifted himself a bit to avoid the glare of the sun falling on him but there was not much space since there was a hard form nestled to him. He peaked with his right eye to see what the form was. He thanks his stars for the beautiful sight of his wife all nestled into him. Boy could he get use to this thought Sanskar.

He put up his free arm over his face to shield the sun from bothering him since getting up from the bed to close the curtains shut was now not an option. Something told him the his wife could sure use a bit more sleep. The angelic face had a soft glow that he loved to watch first thing in the morning. Surprisingly this was the first time he was watching her up this close.

"Sanskar" she called out in her half sleepy half nasally voice.

He laid very still thinking that if he did not reply to her she would go back to sleep. He wasn't ready to face the day yet nor let go of his sweet wife. He knew this was the only time he could have her solely to himself.

"I know you are awake" her voice hummed at his side.

"Sone do na, Shona" he pleaded her without opening his eyes or moving his arm from his face.

She tried to move when she noticed that his left hand was still holding on to her hand from when he had stopped her last night from moving away from the bed. "Mera haat choro" she demanded as she tried to sit up.

"Shona, haat chorne kiya nahi thama tha" he commented as he faced her and brought the very hand to his lips as he place a small peck.

"To phir kyun thama, sari raat intazar kar nai kai liyeh?"

"I am sorry Swara, I'll make sure that doesn't happens ever again. Lucky and I kind of got carried away."

"That was number 245" she giggled as she freed her hand from him.

"Kya 245?" He questioned looking into the sparkles in her eyes.

"Aap ki sorry" and she rushed to the bathroom. She halted at the door of the bathroom and called out to him "Sanskar, aaj Maa Papa se milne jana hai right"

He rushed to her side and scooped her up as he carried her to the shower stall. "Let's save time. You want to see your parents, na?"

Note: what happens next I'll leave it up for you imagination. Not even sure if it's allowed in this forum.
