Part 2:
Its morning. Swara is at the hospital. There is some emergency and she is checking a patient who has been injured severely in an accident.
The patient is conscious and is telling her how the accident took place.
" i was on my bike at a normal speed, suddenly i lost the control of the bike and hit the truck in front of me. After that i dont remember anything. Ouch.."
"I'm sorry but you need lots of injections right now and you need to be operated as soon as possible. Doctor Sanjana assist him and take him into the emercency ward immediately" says Swara.
"Okay doctor swara" answers Sanjana.
After completing her regular routine of checking all the patients, she goes in doctor Varun's cabin. While going there she hears some nurses talking about her and shaurya's relationship.
"How lucky she is, the son of the richest man in mumbai is getting engaged with her. I wish i was at her place.." says one of them.
" and you know what? I heard that he rejected many rich girls to marry her. Seems to be a love marriage" adds another.
Swara avoids them. "May i come in doctor varun?"
"Sure" says a tall senior man with dark eyes and hair. He was his senior, a good friend of her dad Shekhar. He took care of her and was the in charged doctor during the period she was in coma.
"Aayo swara betho. Meine tumhe isiliye bulaye aa hai kyun ki mujhe lha you need rest. I mean tomorrow is an important day for you, isn't it? So ghar jayo, rest karo and spend some time with your family"
"But doctor, i'm fine, absolutely fine. I know its an important day tomorrow but work is as important as that. There are many patients to be checked yet, and that new one who just had an accident.." protested Swara.
"No swara, there are several doctors here. Doctor Mehta will take care of all you dont worry."
"Par.."
"No par war swara. Mene kaha nah.."
Unwillingly swara accepts.
SCENE CHANGES:
Its 12 am. Sanskar is still sleeping, that flight literally destroyed him, he needed rest. A phone call interrupts his sleep. He checks the phone 'shaurya?' "Hi shaurya"
"Hey sanskar, so how was the first night in mumbai? Abhi tak soh rahe the?" asks shaurya.
"Well haan, everything is fine. Phone kyun kiya?"
"Okay so be ready in 15 mins i'm coming there to pick you up and we are going to have lunch together. Be ready" and disconnects the call before Sanskar could say anything.
SCENE CHANGES:
Swara is coming out from varun's cabin. She has no choice then to listen to him and go home. On her way back she meets Doctor Sanjana who tells her about the new patient's health. "He is fine now, the operation has been done successfully. He needs some rest, you dont worry i'll take care of it" says Sanjana.
"Thanks sanjana" says with a smile and goes.
In doctor Varun's cabin he is talking with someone on the phone: "Sharmishta ji meine swara ko mana liya, she is coming back home. Thoda gussa hai but theek ho jayegi. Aap ko to pta hi hai ki wo apne kam se kitna pyaar karti hai. Ji theek hai, namaste".
SCENE CHANGES:
Sanskar and Shaurya reaches a nice restaurant not so far from the city centre.
"Achanak se lunch ka idea?" asks Sanskar.
"Well i'm your best friend, tum shayed bhul gaye but mein nahi." and
gives him a gift. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANSKAR"
Sanskar is surprised and touched by Shaurya's suprise. Well he forgot his birthday. It was not the first time. Since he left india he didnt celebrate his birthday anymore.
"Well thanks shaurya. And yeh gift?"
"For you, c'mon open it"
Sanskar unwraps the gift. Its a watch, well not a common one, but a luxurious one.
"Itna expensive gift?" says looking at the watch.
"Aree yaar, rakhle and i know you love watches. And upar se the one you are wearing is quite old now. Throw it and keep this one"
He loved watches, at home he had a box full of different brands watches, but the one at his wrist was the most special. "Nahi shaurya, yeh purani nahi hai, and kisi special insaan ne gift ki hai"
{Flashback: sanskar's birthday.
"Swara kaha le kar ja rahi ho? And aakhein kyun band kardi meri?"
"Wait nah sanskar, just 2 mins and sab pta chal jayega. Okay 1,2,3 you can open your eyes"
He opened them. Swara organized a little surprise birthday party for him. He decorated the room so well, with lots of ballons and a huge card with 'happy birthday sanskar'. On the table there was a small dark chocolate cake. His favorite.
"Chalo candles bhujayo" says taking him near the table.
He is about to blow the candle when swara stops him "wait sanskar, make a wish. Kehte hai ki jo wish maangi jaati hai birthday par wo puri hoti hai"
"Accha, eesi baat hai? Theek hai, mein chahta hoon ki tum aur mein hamesha saath rahe" says looking in her eyes.
She blushes. "Chalo now you can blow tha candles and cut the cake mr. Romantic".
He cuts the cake and swara gives him a gift. He opens it, its a watch.
"I know its not branded, but.." sanskar stops her putting a finger on her lips. "Shh, yeh sabse pyaari hai. Thank you for the gift"}
He gets emotional.
"Everything okay sanskar?" asks a worried shaurya. "I didnt know it was special otherwise i wouldnt say that"
"Nahi nahi, just ek purani yaad saamne aa gayi. Thanks for the gift"
Both are talking with each other, when shaurya's phone starts ringing.
"Hello, ji aunty. Abhi? Okay, i'm coming". "Sorry sanskar i have to go" and is about to go when he stops "oh no, sorry. Kal meri engagement hai, so you are invited mere ghar pe. I'm sorry abhi bta raha hoon, but i completely forgot it. Bye"
SCENE CHANGES:
Swara is waiting for a taxi outside the hospital.
She hears a horn behind her and looks over there.
"Swara?". Its shaurya.
She is not at all happy seeing him. She should be as she loves him, or she thinks so.
"What a surprise" says with a fake smile Swara. "Yahan kya kar rahe ho?"
"So you are not happy seeing me here i guess. Is everything ok between us? You are behaving strangely."
"Shaurya agar tum yahan humare rishtey ke baare mein baat karne aaye ho to i'm sorry but i'm not in mood of replying."
"C'mon swara sit in the car." and opens the door for her. She looks on.
"C'mon swara, i want you to take somewhere". Hesitantly she sits.
"Kaha ja rahe hai Shaurya?"
"Just wait and you'll get to know it, dont be impatient"
They reaches a coffee shop. It was Shomi's idea to take swara out. She noticed that swara was too stresses due to her work, she needed a break, so she asked doctor varun to give her a half day of break and asked shaurya to take her out, so that her mind will divert a bit.
Both enters the coffee shop and sit.
A waiter comes there for the order.
"Kya psand karenge aap?"
"2 coffee please" says shaurya.
Swara looks at him shocked. He asks her the reason of that expression.
"Shaurya we are together for the past 3 years. Mujhe lga ki tumhe pta hoga ki i dont like coffee"
"Oh, forgot it. I'm really sorry swara. Then one coffee and.." looking at Swara.
"And a cold drink, thanks" adds Swara.
"So Swara, i wanted to spend some quality time with you. Tomorrow is a big day for both of us"
"Shaurya, mein jaanti hoon its an important day, lekin i dont know ajeeb c bechani ho rahi hai"
"Sab kuch perfect hoga Swara" he says holding her hand in his hands.
"I was waiting for this day from a long time."
She tries to give a smile. Why wasnt she happy? She was getting married with one of the most handsome and richest boy in the town.
They both met in a party. It was love at the first sight, apparently. It is three years that they are dating each other. Shaurya was a nice boy, not arrogant as some rich boy, he has just a problem. I hates Swara's job and asked her many times to quit the job, as he was enough rich to give her a happy life. Helping people has been swara's passion since childhood; she couldnt reject her dream job. So she agreed for the marriage on a condition: if he would have allowed her to work even after the marriage. He hesitated but accepted at the end.
"I'm happy Shaurya" says reassuring him.
Waiter comes with coffee and cold drink.
SCENE CHANGES:
Sanskar is busy on his laptop. He is doing some research. His phone starts ringing.
"Hello?" he says.
"Hello, kya hum Mr. Sanskar se baat kar sakte hai?"
"Ji main hi hoon"
"Wo humare boss Mr. trivedi aapse milna chahte hein project ke silsile mein. Jo new mall bann ne wala hai uske liye."
"Oh acha, ji kab aur kahan?"
"Kal, unke office mein hi."
"Kal?" asks shocked. Tomorrow is Shaurya's engagement and he cant miss it.
"Ji kal, uske baad mr trivedi will leave for USA. Is there any problem?"
"Er.. No not at all. I will be there. Thanks" and disconnects the call.
"I must call Shaurya and tell him".
SCENE CHANGES:
"Swara mein bill pay kar ke aata hoon, tum wait karo" and goes.
Swara is looking around when shaurya's phone starts ringing.
"Shaurya?" she shouts, but theres lot of noise in the coffee shop.
She picks up the phone.
"Hello?"
"Shaurya?" asks sanskar hearing a female voice.
"I'm his girlfriend" swara says.
"Yeh awaaz.." thinks sanskar. "Swara se milti hai.. Nahi nahi mein zyada soch raha hoon".
"Shaurya bill pay karne geya hai he will be here in few seconds, you hold on.."
"Kon hai?" says shaurya coming back.
"Your friend" says swara.
He takes the mobile "sanskar? Haan bta kya hua?"
"Wo, yeh ladki.."
"My soon to be wife. Kyun?"
"Hmm kuch nahi. Wo kal mein aa nahi sak ta, mujhe project ke liye bulaye aa hai, so wont be there. I'm sorry but shaadi mein zaroor aayunga dost"
"Aree, chal theek hai, iss bar maaf kardeta hoon but not next time" he jokes.
Sanskar still has a doubt about that girl "shaurya, tumhari girlfriend ka naam kya hai?"
"Her name is..."
