I agree. Under whatever circumstances, Naina still had a choice to take the decision of marriage or not. And she herself decided to go forward with it. If you take a decision, you should also have the strength to stand by it. It makes complete sense for Naina to want to work on this relationship. In fact, had she been bitter about it, she would have come across as immature and bratty as she was the one who made the decision of marriage.

Meghna is looking to raise her mother's swabhimaan by taking her revenge.

Naina, given the circumstances of her marriage, wants to make it work for her mother's swabhimaan AND happiness. That is why the relationship is more important for her than even her own pride.

Don't like the word pride here (above sentence) as pride and swabhimaan are slightly different. Pride is more like atam-sammaan.

However, this show has been successful in making me hate the word swabhimaan - just sounds pretentious now.

@Bold - Meghna will fight for her mother's swabhiman through revenge but the bold part shows Naina' s way, which is to make this relationship work

Naina is going to focus on winning Karan. Interesting! I wonder why she chose to do so? Maybe because if her mom finds out she doesn't have a relationship, Sharda would drown in guilt that she sacrificed one daughter for another's happiness?

Btw, in the promo, Naina holds out her hand for Karan to seal a friendship between them. She knows he doesn't like to be touched - but the only times she has seen this was with herself 😆 So, was she thinking that it was a problem he had with her? Either way, she has a little doubt on it, but it will be interesting to see how she reacts when she sees him flinching away from even his own mother 😉
