You know, ever since she came to BH, she has been the house doormat because she has let EVERYBODY walk all over her, in the name of Yuvraj's love. Her character seems to have severe issues of emotional dependency where she has made Yuvraj the centre of her existence. If he leaves, she's finished.

I just HOPE that Suhani does something with her life... I swear I was watching the beginning of the show and she used to do things with marketing? I hope she finds a satisfying career. I'm not saying housewives are bad, but I can surely say it's not for Suhani. She is a people's person, and intelligent (when it's not involving Somu/Yuvi at least).

She does very much have some sort of an inferiority complex.. The phrase is the best thing that could describe her. She seems to have no value for herself ANYMORE. I was watching through some old episodes, and she USED TO TALK. Like full on. To dadi, and Rags, she would at least say her opinion. Those fairness cream and very episodes of SSEL come to mind.

She is not the person she was before he marriage, she seems to have changed in a very neagtive way, she never really felt inferior before, at least I don't think so.

I don't want to say this, but I wish Yuvi lived alone it seems as though the whole joint family system has ruined Suhani's vibe. Or just get rid of Dadi. 🤢🤢🤢

They keep mentioning her presentation skills every two weeks, so I think her working is a storyline the CVs plan on picking up later on the show. She is so smart and she should contribute to the economy by working.

Yes, Suhani was not like this in the earlier episodes. All the scheming and BH's general environment has dampened her spirit and reduced her to a doormat. Yuvraj's love has weakened her and she has become a shadow of her former self. I am WAITING for the day she realises that this happened. I wonder ho she'll feel when it happens.

I also want a track where Dadi throws them out and they go, live on their own.

Just a msg to PH...by making Suhani meek and dependent you are insulting womanhood. Life is definitely worth living and enjoying and a shade light or dark doesn't make anyone less of a person...it is the person's attitude that makes or breaks him or her.
When you write characters/scripts...do keep society in mind...to increase your TRP's don't insult audience sentiments and intelligence.

We started watching SSEL bcos we liked Suhani's attitude, her perspective of life, her winning smile, her honesty, her principles and optimism and not for her color. If that was the case we'd all have admired Soumya.

She comes from a humble background with her head held high and proud of herself. Her confidence is what we appreciated and looked up at... but since few weeks she is showcased as a pathetic female who is behaving like a maid/cleaner/cook...who is ready to forgive anyone if they just present her samosas.

She took so much pain to cheer up Yuvi during the debit card issue, or medicine issue and now picnic. She royally ignoring her dignity to please him is 🤢. To love is fine...but love someone blindly which isn't even reciprocated is simply annoying and sickening. It is an insult to love itself.

My professor always used to say in class..." think good of yourself and respect yourself first and walk around with your held high...because if you didn't trust and respect yourself then nobody will do it for you..." It's how you project yourself...that is how people treat you.

And here Suhani is projecting herself as a doormat and hence treated so... Too much of anything becomes bitter...her over goodness is making her loose her identity and for viewers it's becoming unbearable to comprehend that attitude.

What your professor said is true. Nobody respects a person who won't respect and love themselves. Such a person is called a doormat and they may break their spine trying to please others, but they still don't get the acceptance, love and approval they crave.

I was also not in favour of Suhani giving up samosas for Yuvraj. Has he asked you to? No. Will he die if you eat samosas? What the CVs are trying to show as love is chronic emotional dependency. She will make him the Sun of her solar system and once he leaves, what will she do? Her life will fall apart.

It is definitely not wrong and is actually essential to focus on yourself and take care of your needs and wants. As you said, we were all smitten by Suhani's spirit and positive outlook on life despite people trying to put her down. All that has been lost somewhere along the way. The CVs are sending a very irritating message by trying to say that dark people should be slavish or doormats to gain the affection of a romantic SO 😕😕 How stupid!

As you said, she can love him, but if she sees him not valuing it, she should value herself and back away.

It sounds like an episode of Savdhaan India, they were making such progress, when Snake mentioned how Suhani doesn't even get to touch a glass of water without hesitating, I thought that wow the show is up to something, but I think the writers think they probably made the track a little too progressive 😡😡😡 and hence want to reserve a stronger Suhani post Yuvani separation? It seems so weird with what they have done with the last few episodes...

Yes, that was a great track the CVs could have picked up with Yuvraj suddenly noticing all the injustice meted out to her daily and righting it. I think they junked it, 'cause they wanna reserve that for later, as you said. Stronger Suhani will not make an appearance currently.

@Eli- Totally. No one person should become the focal point of your existence. Your life is your own and you should have some identity that anchors u. Suhani's whole world will come crashing down when she finds out the truth. she won't have a life anymore.
