Can we also put in suggestions here?

Now that we have something along the lines of usernames and handles, can we also have something along the lines of user flairs (like in Reddit).

I know we already have siggies but they are universal for the profile across forums.

Flairs could be optional + forum specific.

Like a user could have : "Anti Love Lapata" as a flair in BB forum and "SRK lover" in BWF smiley36

(Sorry for the silly examples, creativity is running low atp)

I have noticed that when someone posts a mature post, the timestamp from the post below is cut off. Why is that?

Also while typing in the reply box today, I was having problems. It would just stop typing every few seconds and I had to click the reply box again. Only happened on one page so maybe it's fixed now. Not sure.

Thank you!

Point 1 is done. Do check. Now Poll - maker can see the results without casting their votes.

Thanks so much for doing this so promptly!

I will check as soon as I have an opportunity to create a new poll.

Or if someone else is opening a poll, perhaps they can check and confirm?

I just got a notification that "vijay created a topic in your favourite forum. All things Korean"

I never got such notifications whenever someone created a topic even 1 or 2 months ago in "Mahabharat Katha" or "Zee Bangla" which are also on my Favorites - Forums tab.

I didn't get notifications of the topics that I myself created in The Writers' Club over the past few weeks.

I hope there is no glitch of notifications not working for specific private forums.

If followed forum new topic notifications are a new feature, I find it very useful. Surely it will stimulate activity in private forums.

If these posts are only buried within this topic, they'll be forgotten and vijay will have to repeat or rewrite them.

Hello! There's a show named Saubhagyabati Bhava: Niyam aur Sarte Lagu. It started its journey on 26th September, 2023 on Star Bharat. It's the season 2 of Saubhagyabati Bhava which was telecasted on 2011. There is no forum of this show. I searched for its forum on IF quite a few times but I couldn't find one. Can you look into the matter? I don't know where I can talk about this issue. So, I am talking about it here.

Firstly, I want to thank you for being an active member of our forum and for bringing your concerns to our attention. We genuinely value feedback from our community members.

I understand how interstitial ads can sometimes be an interruption to the user experience, and I apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused. However, I'd like to shed some light on why they are implemented on our site:

  1. Sustainability: Running and maintaining a forum of this scale involves various costs, such as server hosting, domain renewals, software upgrades, and security measures. The revenue generated from interstitial ads helps us cover these expenses and ensure the forum remains operational and free for all members.

  2. Continuous Improvement: The funds raised from ads are also reinvested into improving the platform. This includes implementing new features, enhancing site speed, ensuring uptime, and providing better support to our members.

  3. Quality Content: Our aim is to foster a community where quality content thrives. By having a revenue model, we can invest in initiatives like contests, rewards, and other programs that encourage high-quality contributions from members.

  4. Balanced Approach: We strive to strike a balance between user experience and monetization. Interstitial ads are one of the more effective ad formats in terms of revenue generation, which helps us limit the overall number of ads shown on the site.

  5. Supporting Free Access: We want to keep our forum accessible to everyone without putting up a paywall. Advertisements help us achieve this by subsidizing the costs that would otherwise need to be covered by membership fees or subscriptions.

We're continuously evaluating our ad placements and formats to ensure they're as non-intrusive as possible. Your feedback is invaluable in this process. If you have any suggestions or specific issues you'd like us to address, please do let us know. Our ultimate goal is to provide an environment where members can share, learn, and connect without hindrance.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Thank you for taking time out and addressing this :)
