Thanks so much for doing this so promptly!

I will check as soon as I have an opportunity to create a new poll.

Or if someone else is opening a poll, perhaps they can check and confirm?

Confirmed:

Now, instead of casting the first vote and biasing the poll, I can rely on the neutral wording of options to ensure that the outcome is fair.

Can we also put in suggestions here?

Now that we have something along the lines of usernames and handles, can we also have something along the lines of user flairs (like in Reddit).

I know we already have siggies but they are universal for the profile across forums.

Flairs could be optional + forum specific.

Like a user could have : "Anti Love Lapata" as a flair in BB forum and "SRK lover" in BWF smiley36

(Sorry for the silly examples, creativity is running low atp)

You mean user will create their own flair? Or it will be created by the Moderators / Forum Creators? If we leave it on members then it will be like too many flairs. Do suggest.

I am currently in the planning phase of this feature. We also looking at Topic Flair which users can mark when they create Topic. And it will be visible in the Topic list and people can filter it out by Flair.

Some of the options for TV Show forums (these are just examples):

  1. Episode Discussion - For discussing specific episodes.
  2. Season Recap - For discussing an entire season.
  3. Theory - For fan theories and predictions.
  4. News - For TV show announcements, casting news, etc.
  5. Recommendations - For suggesting TV shows to others.
  6. Memes - For sharing TV show-related memes.
  7. Fan Art - For sharing fan-made artwork related to TV shows.
  8. Interviews - Sharing interviews of cast and crew.

For Movie Forums:

  1. Discussion - For general movie discussions.
  2. Reviews - For movie reviews.
  3. Recommendations - For suggesting movies to others.
  4. News - For movie-related news, such as casting announcements or release dates.
  5. Trailers - For sharing and discussing new movie trailers.
  6. Behind the Scenes - For sharing behind-the-scenes content from movies.
  7. Box Office - For discussing box office collections and predictions.
  8. Trivia - Sharing fun facts or trivia about movies.
  9. Festivals & Awards - For discussions related to film festivals and award ceremonies.

What's forum followers? Is it something new? Do those people get excess to a forum?

I can just see count of forum followers, not the names.

Well it is the number of people who have marked that forum in their Favorites.

Ok. But what happens for private forums? Like do they have access to the forum posts?🤔 else the follow concept is kinda pointless for private forum?

It's the members who are part of that private forum.

I agree with this. Can we do away with the auto-follow option for private forums? Or have it under a separate tab? As mod, I follow all the forums I’m moderating, but having private forums I’m in clutters up the favorites tab and makes it harder to navigate.

I don't think so.

A. If they are members, they should show up in members count, not followers.

B. Followers having access or being members of to forums with invite only/ request access permission type makes the permission type pointless.

I think for private forum with invite only/ request access permission type the follow button doesn't make sense.
