Yes we have got used to with current logo of IF...and its very good...but a new change is always welcoming after such a long time...😊

The new logo seems very attractive and appealing in terms of colors and design too...👍🏼..and we will soon get used to it...and love it...

I mean is there any app of indiaforums for mobile specially for iphone
I think mobile app will make IF more friendly nd easy bcoz sometimes its not easy to open forum in mobile from google chrome safari So i think mobile app is a gud idea to make forum more friendly

I agree with you.

Last year we got someone to do the IndiaForums Mobile Apps for iOS and Android but due to the complexities involved they quit it in the middle. So we decided this time around when we take this up we are going to do it inhouse instead of outsourcing.

I am already picking up Swift and we are actively hiring Mobile App developers so that we can bring the apps as soon as possible.

Hi Vijay,

Change is constant and i'm sure a lot of time and effort would have gone into making the new logo. First impression is its attractive and great job. Perhaps like most suggested, you could try incorporating the holding hands into the current design if its feasible. Rest is just a matter of time getting used to it.

And about the concept, there was something stated about 'Play', could you elaborate on this as i only understood the Discussion and Community part?

Rest, i hope along with the new logo design, comes other features we have been requesting for.

India-Forums is an entertainment discussion portal and mostly covers television and movies. So we felt "Play" was the right thing to resemble entertainment.

Also updated my first post on how we are highlighting community.

Thanks for the PM.

I'm in favour of changing the logo as change which is for good is always welcome. It will bring refreshment in website and with time people will gradually accept the new logo too. However, as others have already suggested, it will be good if the three people on current logo can be incorporated in your new logo, somewhere then it will make it look a new version of old one. Current one represents different people from different places come together here to discuss, entertainment etc.

Also, I respect that a lot of time is invested to make new logo and it looks impressive too.

I'm now waiting for you to reveal all other interesting things here with us. Also hope that the pending requests for example; new emoticons, coding problems, new fonts, I-F App, Scrapbook issues etc., will be completed soon.

Hey vijay, nice work by the team... I am not a logo expert so my suggestion might not be a practical one. But still I would like to discuss few points.

I am happy with the the colour of the logo. Instead of sticking to just three colours it's cool to have multicolour.

The new design looks like a "Q" when you look at it for the first time... Can it be like flowy squarish or pentagonal where some implication of human holding hands are depicted? That will also have the parity with the current one?

--really looking forward to this new feature. it will help us alot. For now we hv to switch to WA or FB for grp discussions. 👏

Logo on a White background looks better. Just a small suggestion, tone down the Text color a bit so that our main focus is on the logo design. a black text grabs all attention initially.😳 using sm grey colour i think wouldd be fine instead of Jet black, Thanks😊
