Well the problems with the current one is that it is not universal (when we make it smaller it is not clear) and graphically does not stand out when placed beside other logos or on several places as its a bit thin

Thanks for explaining the practical aspect. Workabality is more important.

New Logo looks good .. But I sort of prefer the old one mayb because it represents "unity in diversity" thing better which is what IF is all about ..

Can we not merge old and new one making sure that whole design of three people holding hand remains intact .. I m not that knowledgable about graphics and photoshop , so may not hv an idea if its possible or not and I do understand the limitations with old logo too .. but if at all some mix and match can b done with old and new one , it will b better ..

The new logo looks good and it is not inferior to the old one in any way.

Just that sometimes changing the logo may dilute the brand. Some logos like the 'i' of ICICI bank or the logo of SBI remain in our minds forever. Even the IF logo is like that. Changing it may make it weird for some time.

Having said that I think sometimes we need to go for a makeover. You can consider retaining the old one yet giving it a modern touch, like google has done recently.

Just give it a thought...???

Vijay A thumbs up for the new logo,I am in favour iy.

Although the site has bee with the old logo buy with time everything has to change.

Many companies from channels to brands have gone for complete look change So I guess IF also beeds that.

The new logo looks modern and gives a new vibe.

If poeple want the Three hand holding persons in the logo then Maybe you can have them between the space we have in new Logo!

After pondering for few mins ... I felt the new logo has all seven colours of the rainbow merging into each other , replacing the three people holding hands and this also shows unity in diversity , friendship, tolerance etc

I guess its a matter of time we shall get used to the new logo after missing the older one for some time

the practical requirements have to be considered too

Its good that u are bringing changes in IF. Actually i love current logo more but with time we all will like the new logo..

I'm looking forward for the new changes and brand new IF👍🏼 😎

Hey

Vijay I am in favour of the new Logo,It looks fresh and gives an modern vibr.

Every company or brand goes for conplete logo change and It is needed after a long time.

The new logo Looks better than the old one.

Even if some poepoe says that old logo represents unity then we can incorporate those three poeple in the new logo.

My vote is for the new one,The change is highly needed!

New logo looks nice
But agree with jyoti words yes i want to adk the same question can we merge both logos old n new
I have one suggestion make apo for mobile
I mean is there any app of indiaforums for mobile specially for iphone
I think mobile app will make IF more friendly nd easy bcoz sometimes its not easy to open forum in mobile from google chrome safari So i think mobile app is a gud idea to make forum more friendly
