As of now, the FF's topic was making me really upset, and now, the problem will be solved. I think -foreverhers- aka Kajal pmed Mandy regarding the FF's. Hopefully we will get a positive answer.

From now on, I don't have any complaints, but as far as SH members have other complaints then please let this Topic open, till their Problems get solved. Because, I opened this topic for the SH Forum Members and I pointed MY points.

And I wasn't requesting any mod. :O After seeing the comments I didn't feel like replying to everyone. When I read the comments , I feel .Farzi. started the mod topic and then everyone started commentig on that topic. :( I didn't want to see a war bhere :(

But whatever @BornAries said all are truth ! She pointed everything very well. Please see her comment first. We will fight for our haq SADDA HAQ ! That was great Sree. XD

And as far as Members have complaints please keep this Thread open for more replies of more members.

And still my complaints aren't solved yet. Only that FF topic is solved (partically). The Topic Title says it all ! This Topic wasn't all about SH forum only. I had complaints about other Forums and their Mods. If you want an example of Forums I am talking about, I will tell you.

I think I pointed my complaints not so good. I know :( But hope , now you understood what I meant before. :)

This post is NOT about " need of a mod for SH forum ", but since that topic is dragged here in this post and @Angel-Jot. has asked the reason Why "every alternate day " we members come up with a post "we need a mod" I would like to add some point in support of our demand ..(by our , I meant the whole SH forum)

• As it is repeatedly asked why we need a mod? I would like to ask why IF is not ready to give us a dedicated mod ( by "dedicated ", I meant a VB) ??? and there is no need to drag Mandy in this topic as WE are not against Mandy , why should we? She is the CM and doing her job sincerely .. We just want want someone who could share the work load with Mandy and would also be a part of the forum .. You mention that someone can share the load with Mandy. Jot and I have been repeating (ourselves hoarse) in this thread that if she can handle her job well and there are no issues that she fails to handle in a specific time period, why do you need a DT?

• SH is one of the active forums..its in top 10 .., other forums under chaneel V is not that active so it might not require any VB ..So Mandy can look after those forums but Sh forum do need an UNDIVIDED attention .. I mentioned this earlier, what attention do you require that Mandy hasn't been providing? Does she fail to respond to PMs or handle reports on time or get to stickying of topics? Are there any issues which you feel she fails to handle? If so, would you please care to elucidate?

• Its been stated that since SH forum doesn't face any kind of fanwars, its a very peaceful forum so basically we don't need a mod, C'on that cant be an excuse, many forums do have a VB although they are peaceful enough and there is no fanwars also ..then why is SH forum treated as a Step-child ??? 😲 There is no step child treatment. There are many high profile forums with popular stars who don't have DTs cause they're calm and the CM can handle. Jot mentioned that VBs/Mods are needed when the CM feels that he/she needs help in handling the forum. As of now, Mandy is managing the forum very well, so why does she need help?

• Its not only about need, its also about our rights , and we do deserve to get a mod like all other forums.. Even our Show is about Haq, so its our haq , Sadda haq 🤣 .. See, all jokes aside, Jot made a point above. Just going on and on about "We want a VB, Sadda Haq aithe rakh" is not going to make a difference. Not once have you guys backed up your "we want a VB" protest with one solid reason as to why exactly do you want a DT, cause it appears as if whatever you want a VB to do, Mandy is doing it on time and perfectly well, so what exacly is it that you're looking for?

• Now, see , Naz made a post stating some problem, and we did get some suggestion/ solution ..Solution is that we need to pm CM/ GM , stating our problem , need to fetch permission to transfer the FFs etc.. quite a long process .. and WE members have to take all this headache to pm them and seek permission , now if we had a VB for our forum , he/she could have done all this work .. isn't it ??? members would not have to worry about all these? wouldn't that be better??? So let me break this down for you. Even if there was a VB, he/she would not have a brainwave or an epiphany that the members want FFs to be transferred, or whatever. The only thing that the VB gets direct info about, seriously, is the reports, or whatever he/she finds during a cursory glance of the forum. You'd still have to PM the VB, who'll then go on liaise with the FF DT on your behalf. The only difference is..you're liasing with Mandy instead of a VB. Trust me, the process is the same. You just have to tell her your issue, and she'll liaise. You'd have to have done the EXACT SAME THING with a VB as well. So, I'm afraid your point doesn't hold much validity here.

WE face many such problems every day , I know Mandy is just a pm away ,We appreciate her dedication and her hard work, its not like WE members want to dethrone her , we just want someone who will be dedicated to our forum ..we face many such problem , which may not be that extreme like two different fan groups fighting and abusing each other, but still the problem we face they cant be neglected either, the major one being the members specifically the new members don't even know that SH forum have a mod , and even if they know , they don't approach Mandy with their problems, instead they share it with other members, not that we dont want to help them , its like they dont want to approach to Mandy simply because they dont KNOW her ... and this is not good .. So your issue is that members don't approach Mandy cause they don't know her, or they don't know she exists, especially cause many of them are new. So say if SHQ gets a VB, what guarantee can you give that this VB will be known to everyone? Like I mentioned in a comment earlier, if new members are not aware of Mandy's/a DT member's existence, and they PM you guys asking for help or regarding issues, you can obviously inform them of the presence of Mandy and direct them to her. An easier way: we can make a thread for Mandy, informing everyone that in case of issues, they can PM her and she'll get back to them within 24 hours or so, and this post can be stickied for a while. Does this sound reasonable?

So we just want someone who could share the responsibility of looking after and managing one of the MOST active forums of IF along with the CM .. It is really sweet of you and your friends to think in such a way, but really, if Mandy has no issues in handling the forum alone and is doing a decent job at it and doesn't require help...why are we forcing her to get any help?

What do you mean a viewbie is a dedicated mod? My not being a viewbie would therefore mean that I'm not a dedicated moderator? What kind of point is that? As for your comment about 'sharing the work load with Mandy'.. did Mandy ask for help? Did she state that she needed someone to share her work load? No. As far as I know, she doesn't need people to speak for her. She has the ability to speak for herself. 😃

Two, it already has that ONE DT that is required and in this case, it happens to be a Channel Moderator. Why do you care if that one DT has a blue or pink username?

No, a viewbie could not do anything more for you. In fact, speaking to Mandy directly is speeding up the process. Why? Because for the FF shifting, the viewbie would've have had to speak to Mandy about the rule change. The viewbie couldn't have done it without Mandy's permission. Two, viewbies have no authority over technical issues such as the profile picture changing. The viewbie would've had to consult the Channel Moderator (Mandy) and then request for it to be changed. Whereas, Mandy directly requests it herself. One step less.
  

Maybe you're unaware of the DT ladder group but here's how it works:

Viewbie -> works under Moderators -> work under Channel Moderators -> work under Global Moderators

When Members requesting something, that means, they know the Forum better than any other mod can, so there would be a great reason why they are always opening such topics about SH Forum, they won't waste their precious time to open such topics just for joke.

I know, I too wanted one more mod to be added for the forum , but now I got over it. Some members are even asking me if I am against their opinions in this Topic related Mod topic.

I really appreciate your replies. You helped me a lot. But you stated aswell, that what is a Viewbie, but I already knew that, I have read everything about a Mod soo many times but that wasn't my and other's question.
