Not a bad idea Sharon. But moderators approving newbies post will be hard because particular moderator need to be online and its kind of hard considering I-Fs current state.

However, I hope admin can implement account verifying/activation through mobile to reduce the MIDs and proxy😊.

Newbies privileges needs to be restricted as well.

let me tell you frankly why this seems difficult.

I-F is no longer just a discussion forum, when tellybuzz arrived, it became a damn money making website licking celebs feet and all. now i-f is the forum where registeration is done very easily. more members can step in and daily many members go out from the forum. these points u have talked about are valid but in virtual bhaiya's definition they are considered 'restrictions' that would not allow the member to settle in. more waiting for posts to regularly becoming a valid member shall mean irritation and it might happen that the members gives up before becoming one. as dexter pointed out that they ranted so much last year but nothing happened. that proves my thing. Virtual Bhaiya can't lose members also he wants more members. more members mean more hits..more hits mean more money simple as that...member's sentiments..WTH

Lol. When the DTs do not even hesitate to leak IPs, you actually think it would be safe to share the mobile numbers? Can we really trust virtual bhaiyaa with it especially how some DTs (current and ex) secretly tell us not to even share the personal email adress?😆

Anyway Sharon, good post but trust me, Dexter worked her ass off for this but nothing really changed.

Its automatically done, not via moderators. Just like how you have to verify email address.

Excellent post and I completely agree, thank you for it. Put an end to this, please, do something! What some of these MIDs do is cyber bullying and if this continues and stuff gets serious, I won't hesitate to report it to cyber crime cell. Vijay either you do something or else I'll handle it my way, even if it involves legal actions against this website.

I agree with the suggestion of first 10 or so posts being approved by mods. May be make it 50 so even if the person wants to fool with first 10 posts, 50 might change the intention.

One big change I would like to see on IF remove the stupid celebrity and forum rankings. What good are they doing and to whom? They do not represent true ranking of the actor because most of the comments are spams. It is the main cause for MIDs and forum wars. I have read in several threads where fights happen, members actually like the fact that the activity of the forum increased so does the ranking. It is major means of generating obsessive fans.

Creating an MID and posting on IF is relatively easy. Well, that's what I heard. And moderating hate posts that invade privacy is taxing. I think Vijay should introduce a system of checks available to specific moderators who should approve the first 10 posts for every new ID that is created before they become visible for audiences. This will ensure that that account is created in good faith and put a permanent end to the legacy of MullahAkber, Hellraiser and others.

Suggestion by Neetu:
MIDs should not be allowed to send PMs unless they have at least 25 posts. This will stop the hate PMs parade that most of us have to entertain.

I need all of you to show support and highlight this issue so that Vijay can consider having a system of moderation over posts. We NEED this, people.

Clean IF and secure a healthier environment where our private lives are not put out for the whole world to relish by hatemonger with personal vendettas.

Unfortunately few rotten ones are sufficient to fool around and cause issues, right? And for something to be automatic, the data has to be stored somewhere (which means people do have access to it).
