@ Shruthi, you have only given the answer to your question about boys who were in custody of Lavanasur were not called Impure. The fact Sita was called impure because she was in custody of a man. if she were in custody of Mandodari or Shurpanakha or Sulochana or to that fact kaikesi, bno one would have dared to call her impure for a simple reason , people were not known about homosexual or Gay concept in that era. So they would still have thought Sita as pure and would have pitied her for the hardship she underwent during her abduction. Now for all probable reasons, they will think she was well looked after as Ravan abducted and she was left unscratched ( I mean not underwent any physical strain as any male captured would have made to do. Moreover all know that even Ravan was a contender for Sita's had in her Swayamvar and had been insulted during the same. So they think no sane person will loose the opportunity to avenge the person who was the cause for his insult.

@jaya that's what I said I am not sure what CVs meant. Will they take it as a question from Luv-Kush. Not sure. I understand your logic. It was just assumption in my analysis.
@aayushi thanks dear
@vidya the way we act to present problems will have lot of bearings in future. That is why understanding epics helps so that we don't do the mistakes in our life as much as possible.

@ shruthi Di when i first read ur post even I felt like jaya Di but then why I feel there is a possibility is that luv and kush are kids and their questions might be filled with innocence.
gargi is bit different from Sita right She chose to live independently without marriage and she wasn't ready to changer her views and was apprehensive in joining yagnavalka ashram whereas Sita Lived with what she told ram Together yet free.

@ Vidya Di so true people who are emotionally and spiritually strong can face adversities of life more boldly. Sita the conscience of ram is a good point Di

And Sita is educated and we see that carrying her through in her life. See yesterday she says trust the King of ayodha and everybody listens to her and wait. in real ram is her husband and she knows what a warrior he is but to be able to control people not domination or rather have right views in tough times is something that her education does isn't it?

@sanju maryada is limits and gargi was in her limits when she decided not to marry. Brahmacharya is something our culture allows both men and women if they want to take it. By opting for Brahmacharya she doesn't break any maryada only thing is that she doesn't accept any bandhan. When you decide to get married you accept a bandhan and for Sita the foundation of that bandhan is love. And it should be like that.
Now her hesitance to come to ashram was based on the prevailing perceptions of those times. She didn't want to be dictated what to teach and what not to teach. She expected trust of people in her knowledge that she will never give knowledge to kids that can make them break any maryada. Yagyavalkya a learned man understands her, trusts her and give her space. So she starts teaching there.
A woman expects from a man trust in her abilities to make right decisions. Not to be told everytime what to do, what not to do. A learned man with wisdom will always give that when a woman remains within maryada or limits. She doesn't have to take bandhan

Another beautiful episode where the CVs showed the need for co existence of Prakriti and Sanskriti. Yes the child says to Ram his father and mother is vandevi. But in private finally Sita has to face the question. Who is their father. Why he is not coming to see them. I loved the way Sita answered her children. She told their father is busy with his duties and for his duties he had to sacrifice his family.

The children are not satisfied. Doesn't their father want to see them. Sita tells even if he is not there he loves them. When times comes they will meet him and she wants them to know his name only then.

But Kush is not satisfied. As I had said Sita's curiosity is seen more in Kush, while Luv though curious is aware of checking other's feelings before raising unnecessary questions. We can see in them a similarity of Sita and Ram's childhood. Sita in her unbridled enthusiasm questioning Gautham Muni, taking bow when Parashuram comes, her love for golden deer. All her life changes had happened due to her curiosity. Her knowledge of the suryavanshi who will liberate Ahalya, the decision on how her swayamvar will happen, and yes her journey to Lanka and present condition is the result of that unbridled curiosity

And for Kush the life changing things happen with the same curiosity of his mother. His love for golden bird that lands them in Lavanasur hands, his curiosity to meet Ram that ends up in having more questions. He is the change, while Luv is the constant.

In Ram-Siya's case Ram is the constant, Siya is the change. Luv-Kush combines the masculine and feminine aspects together or with Siya-Ram milan Sanskriti gets Prakriti-Sanskriti combination in Sanskriti itself. Only when Prakriti-Sanskriti comes out in Sanskriti, Sanskriti changes because only Sanskriti can question Sanskriti. When woman question, it is treated as rebellion, but the equation changes when a boy or a man questions societies regressive practices.

And if you see Krishna is called Poornavatar because he combined Prakriti-Sanskriti in Sanskriti itself, while Ram didn't had that. Hence Ram needed next generation or his kids to bring about the real change. While Krishna breaks and changes the system in his life time itself. And teaches his friend Arjun also to do the same. In Kaliyuga we need more men who have Prakriti-Sanskriti in them and mother's play a big role in grooming their sons for imbibing Prakriti into them as she is the first teacher.

So questions are coming for which Kush is not getting satisfactory answers. So since the answer is not obtained this boy will go from one place to another till he get answers. And his answers will bring the much needed change in the society.

Vidya whatever we say a child needs both its parents. A mother cannot be a father, a father cannot be a mother. These are distinct roles that needs to be performed by the right people. Only when you start parenting you understand the difficulties of not having your partner, because there are areas where a daughter needs a mother, a son needs a father and these places cannot be switched.
