Sorry Laku Akka, but kya karoon, aapko pareshan karna to banta hain! 😆

But yeah, Ravan was a character that oscillated between black and white, but you have to admit, he was a very good human being, the only thing that made him bad was his ego. Otherwise, my mom says, that Ram and Ravan were basically equals.

EPISODE OF 11.6.2016 and 12.6.2016 (Shabari and Ram Hanuman First Meet)

The episode was full of packed performances and full symbolisms. I didnt know In deep about the Shabari episode and hence the episode helped me a lot. This is what I learnt from yesterdays episode.

The episode began with Raavan calling a secret assembly wherein Kaikesi tells Raavn he must convince Sita to marry him, for she fears Sita will lead to Lankas destruction otherwise. This is the difference between the Dharmic and Adharmic ideologies. A Dharmic person knows here that if Lankas destruction is to come, it is not because of Sita, but because of Ravans incorrect way of revenge itself. To avenge for his sisters insult, he kidnapped a woman, insulting her.So what is happening today is because of his actions. Karma comes into play again.

Next we saw Ram calling aloud for Sita, and he is frantic and lost. I do not know about other versions, but according to what was shown, Ram shows what happens to a person when their most prized possession is taken away. The scene where Raavan cuts off the head of the female idol in plans to win Siya, he intends to kill her logic, her faith. But this is something which is not to break either in the case of Ram or Siya.

When Ram and Lakshman reach the ashram of Shabari, Ram senses something, but his instinct is covered by his constant awareness in his search fro Siya. Shabari too sees Ram and understands he is the person she has been waiting to arrive all her life. She shows the qualities of a true Bhakt, or devotee. Worship always need not be done as Puja, a simple thanking of God at any time of the day is also considered devotion.

Ram initially refuses, but later realises her pain and returns. The episode also brought to light the fact of Caste Prejudices that has always been existing. Though Lakshman was skeptical to enter, Ram entered for he didnt see the caste, he saw the person. If all of us can think like that, a lot of the society around us can be improved to a great extent. Then when she gave him tasted berries, Ram accepted them. This symbolised true love for someone. Whether it is faulty, with errors, if there is true love in between two people, any kind of love, they learn to accept each other with their faults.

We saw how inspite Trijata bringing Rams severed head, Siya refuses to believe. She knows it is not possible, for

a) She knows it is Ram who is to defeat Raavan through Uma

b) She has faith in Dharma, hence she is realistic.

Trijata and Raavan are shocked to see her not accepting the situation, but what they do not realise is the person Ram is, and the fact that whatever is happening is up for a big cause. Siya describes Ram as the base of nature, whose every word is pure. Such a soul can be attained only by them who have a good outlook to everything, learning to see the good in everyone first. Siya touches the ground in his memory, for she is Bhoomija and understands Ram will come to her and that nature is signalling her of his coming.

Ram knows of Sugreev and walks towards Rishyamukh Parvat. Hanuman to protect his friend from dangers too comes and sees them, and releases he has some celestial connection with Ram. There is nothing purer than a relationship of Dev and Bhakt. Yet, at times those connections are hidden from us.

At Lanka, Trijata has a slow change of heart, she is not convinced herself that her heart has changed for a good cause.

Here, Hanuman knows his Prabhu is to come, yet is not sure.

Such are the Leelas of the Lord. When Parvati asks why Ram and Hanuman do not know each other already, Lord Shiva replies that their meeting is just Sansaarik. In this world, it is scientifically proven that we share our DNA with all other people to about 99% the same. But it is that 1% that makes us stand out, and different. By that logic, we should know each other by birth, but it takes us years to find a soulmate. This is because all our actions, not our destiny though, are planned. Opportunities lie everywhere, it is to us where and which to use!

Thanks!

Will post 13.6.16 Epi's analysis tmrw. :)

According to theory, he kept the berries in his mouth and later spat them out.. some also say he didnt consume them and just watched. Today he looked at Hanuman with suspicion, is that a part of any folklore, cause I am not sure.

I havent watch last 7-8 eps , so dont know what exactly they showed

But yes , Hanumaan was looked upon with suspicion by lakshman during their first meeting

Lakshman thought that he was some kind of Mayaavi asur who had come in disguise of a rishi , as he kept bothering and questioning Ram and Lakshman
