Guys check out this video 'The Banarasi Hindu ' by Being Indian on YouTube.. it's wonderful.. it talks about the true essence of Hinduism and other religions, how the people of Banaras feel to love there, some common folklore and why the whole world is actually Hindu by thought. I loved it!

@Anu the philosophy of Sanathana Dharma or the Hinduism as it was called earlier is Vasudaveka Kudumbakam meaning whole earth is a family. I will watch it.

I only saw Shanta today... Only Shanta. Leaving this to you Shruthi.. Deal with her 😆 I have many points on her but I ges we'll land on the same pg. So its better u do it once 😆

Loved the episode. I'll try to analyse with pointers.

Trijeda realizes the ultimate truth.

Sita calls her mother. And this is where sita has won half the battle.

Surpankha Ravan continue tuileir cat fight.

Meghnad has some plans. And see his reasoning. Everything revolves around status and respect.

Once again I saw Shanta here. Why cvs why? Why have you all worked so brilliantly with screenplay? I can't stop admiring the writing.

Ravan did everything for Surpankha's revenge. Now when Surpankha feels her brother is distracted Meghnad feels its better to kill her.

And what timing!!!! Darling Sulo overhears everything. *applause*

Meghnad doesn't wailste a single minute to know this.

Bechara is praying that sulo doesn't twist things more.

But she does exactly what is expected.

I must say this couple is perfectly imperfect!!!! They'll end up pulling the other down.

Sugreev warns Ram about Bali. Lakshman babu is hurt. Sugreev tries to pacify. Jamvant supports.

So again 7 pops up.

Loved the lunch scene of Sita and Trijeda.

I loved how seamlessly the cvs have included so many disciples in a mythological show.

Ayurveda, Health, Hygiene, philosophy everything!!!!!

Sita by hinting towards the taste of food indirectly got the three gunas: Rajas, Satva, Tamas.

I loved how the two departed souls ate food with their mothers. Loved the bond. Ram with shabari, Sita with Trijeda.

Sulochana frees surpankha.

Meghnad is furious.

Ram undoubtedly shoots the 7 trees in one go.

Loving the pace.. So tomorrow its Bali's death.

Proofs..

I loved the way Trijeda is shown Ram. She gets a proof of Vishnu's presence.

Ram gives the proof of his ability to kill Bali.

Surpankha once again proves that she's mad.

Meghnad proves to be a strategist just like his father.

Sulochana proves to be fatal for meghnad's plans...

Today's episode had many points to ponder on, but I want to focus on one point that got me thinking, and my theme of the day.

Today, because of her violent behavior, Surpanakha was jailed, and like most of us would be, she is furious and longs to be free again. She believes that she is a princess that has not and should never be jailed. But she is wrong. She has been in such a cage before, a cage of her desires. We humans get trapped in our desires, and don't see anything beyond that, especially in the Kali Yuga. We believe that the key that would free us from this metaphysical cage is the fulfillment of our desires, that we need to work towards. We try and make our dreams a reality and chew at our cage like a mouse nibbling on a rope. But nothing happens. Why? Because, the fulfillment of our desires motivates us selfish humans to attain more, and we add more bars to our cage, trapping ourselves even further. This is exactly what happened with Surpanakha. She kept on running behind her desires, and got lost in the maze of life. So, how can you get free? The key to this vicious cycle is realization. Realization that material gains only last a lifetime, but spiritual gains last for eternity. Realization that happiness doesn't come from bodily pleasures, it comes from the gratification of the soul. But, didn't Sulochana or wealth free Surpanakha? Wealth may become the means by which your desires are fulfilled, but it can only support you for a little while before it is exhausted. Sulochana is caught along with Surpanakha, and from then on, she can not support her aunt-in-law. Thus, wealth doesn't free you, it is the means to help you realize how to be free. It teaches you that it is fickle, along with all materialistic pleasures, and that you should not pursue them. Surpanakha is taught this lesson years later, when Sita is exiled a second time, and she realizes. Just like a mother is the source of happiness for a child, Sita gives the berry of happiness and peace to Surpanakha, and helps the demoness realize the Absolute Truth, something that humans strive to understand for lifetimes.

The theme of today's episode is change. Trijata has had a change of heart, and now has become Sita's Trijata Mata, who supports Sita and her struggle for Dharma. Surpanakha is now trapped in jail and wears black clothes, contrasting her earlier state, where she lived lavishly in the palace and wore colorful clothes. The meek and scared Sugreev has now transformed to a confident and brave Sugreev, all thanks to Ram's friendship. What does this all teach us? That change around you, good or bad, changes you as a person. The events that occur in your life become experiences that help you take decisions and actions, and when you experience new things, they change your mindset, or even destroy the very base of it. That is why, be open to change of any type. Then you will see that the change in you takes you a step further in achieving the goal of your life.

Surpi is nuts. But then the dialogues CVs have given her are amazing. Today we saw Surpi in a cell. Because she stands as a barrier to what Ravan wants. Ravan comes to Surpi and Surpi says for a woman you forgot justice for your sister. Look this woman would destroy Lanka.

Cut to Shanta. Shanta is in a prison that is self imposed. Without asking anything she is waiting. And what happens, Ram banishes Sita. For his personal luxury to live with his wife and kids he doesn't forget the larger purpose. Justice for Ayodhya has done to his sister and its other daughters.

Sita being in Lanka brings its destruction and Sita being away from Ayodhya brings the destruction of the system in Ayodhya.

And see another thing today. Meghnad wants to kill Surpi and what he tells. He has to take care of the image of his father. To ensure the image is taken care he wants to look surpi's death natural. Isn't want Dasrath and the queens had done to Shanta. They all wanted their dignity. If they accept their daughter, will the rishi curse them. What if the rishi knows the truth. To ensure truth is not exposed, they allow their daughter to live a lonely life in the forest till her brother goes to meet her. ( Jaya had put such an analysis during that time. It is now her analysis making complete sense)

And today who liberated Surpi from the prison. Sulo. Wealth of Lanka. But the way she did it , it has broken her relationship with her husband once and for all.

Tomorrow Lakshmi will liberate Shanta. But since she only does action in the direction of Hari the hus-wife relation of Ram-Sita will remain intact even in separation

Now coming to Trijadha. To make a non-believer-believer you have to give them the proof. Once she got the proof she understands who Sita is. And I loved her dialogue when she brings food. Don't think all trees of Lanka are bad. It shows a good person even in a bad environment can be transformed and if your transform them, you have to accept them in that surrounding itself. Because if you don't accept the transformed person truly, then the transformation will not be complete. Sita talks about the quality of food. Food is not for filling stomach. It is for getting energy. For that we have to enjoy the food we eat. And not only the food prepared, but the way it is served and the thoughts while making it always play an important role in ensuring the right energy is taken from the food.

While Trijadha demands proof, Sugreev also demands proof. Ram gives it. Yes proof is needed for trust. I would always request when in doubt ask Lord for proof. Believe me the proof comes if you ask. Many time we don't ask that is the whole problem.
