i saw the epi at 11.30 this morning.. truly a fab epi..

but u all said it all.. i dont need to ad anything.. but a thought did strike me:

Ram and Meghnadhh both can be termed as agyakari putra but look at this: when ram dint agrree with Dashrath on the ashwamegh horse being slaughtered, he found a mid way.. and convinced everyone including dashrath .. now Meghnad too doesnt like what Ravan is doing but he is just a mute follower n a blindly obedient son..

Actually something else too striked me during the epi.. but vo bolungi toh blasphemy ka ilzaam lag jaayega mujhpe

And what can I say about yesterday's episode..

It was spectacular.. each and every dialogue had a latent meaning in it..

Meghnad is such a well written character nd Sulo 👏

Ohhkay as u all have said everything about Meghnad, I will take Ravan here.. I don't know what I am thinking is right or wrong but just a small try.. Do correct me if I go wrong anywhere

Ravan had already seen Sita in the Swayamvar, he knew that she is a beautiful woman and he didn't fall for her at that moment...

When Akampana told Ravan about Ram he was getting irked to know about his greatness, but he fumed when he heard that he could lift the Shiv Dhanush (which he couldn't lift)nd marry Sita..

So basically it was not any "Surpanaka's pratishot" for him.. If he had to avenge then he cud have killed Ram.. but the moment he heard he cud lift the Shiv Dhanush his ego got hurt.. Sita Haran was not out of any "Revenge for Sister" for him.. But he was using this incident as an opportunity to fulfill his wish of competing with Ram..

As he kidnapped Sita , she said why don't u kill me and take ur Revenge, but he didn't, as his target was Ram, not Sita..

He tells Sita that if she had married him instead of Ram she would have been happy.. Again competence !

When KKesi told him to marry Sita his expressions were of arrogance, he again got an opportunity to compete with Ram nd win as Ram will lose everything if he loses Sita...

But yesterday the way he saw Sita, I felt he is falling for her... but in the precap again we can see he was more concerned about Ram's sorrow than Sita...

Now a time will come when he will completely fall in luv with Sita.. And Sita will reject him inspite of him being "Tino loko ka swami", and again his ego will make him hold a grudge against Ram..

So for Ravan his ego, competition holds more value than love.. So can we call his feelings for Sita as love? Or just a pretence to compete against his enemy ? A pretence, which perhaps even he is unaware of..

Thnak you Sruthi di! Yes, both the heart and the brain can't work without each other, that is why they represent two soulmates. Each soulmate gives away one half to the other- their heart, so at the end both of them are still complete. But one part is their partners, so this symbolizes "Do Dil, Ek Jaan."

Srutha di, you said a really good point, God is Love and Love is God. So many people today don't understand this simple fact. That is why riots over Gods occur. Why are people making Love into a matter of animosity? And another thing, the people carrying out the riots say that, "We are protecting Our God." Well, God is the one who provides the universe with protection, so how can we protect God, when we are a very infinitesimal part of him. And Srutha di, Sita Maa has so many virtues, and being optimistic in such a horrible situation is one. We have so much to learn from her!

Anu di, thanks! Yes, trust and love are the basis of any relationship. If any of these are weak, then the relationship breaks apart. And to teach us this, Ram and Sita made their relationship the strongest, through separation, and held immense faith and trust in each other.

Aditi di, you are right. Ravan has ego, and everything he does is to fulfill that ego. Even trying to gain Sita is just a way to fulfill his ego. But, Sita, instead of fulfilling it, will break it, into countless pieces.

Shirley di, yes, both are obedient sons, but their should be a balance in everything. Ram always finds a balance in everything, and didn't follow his father in Adharma, but he readily followed him in Dharma. In Megnath's case, he follows Ravan everywhere. In anything you do, you shouldn't be extreme, you should always have a balance.

Savita di, I also saw that. After being in a rage just a few minutes before, Ravan's eyes softened when he looked at Sita . He had respect for her, respect for being so strong and determined in such a situation. And this is true for all woman, we can bear almost everything, except for harm on our family. And thank you for the compliment!

Yes, Ravan became jealous & maybe a bit insecure that, inspite of being Trilokadhipathi there was someone who was capable of matching his valor or even more than his valor 😳

In his jealousy he wanted to snatch away the most precious possession of Ram, which happens to be Sita

well.. i wanted to point out the saat vachan scene.. if we consider them as strictly humans, and not gods or divine beings theen ram actually failed to fulfill 3 of 7 vachans to sita and failed miserably at that.

here r those vachans:

1. Will always take care of u

2. will take care and provide for my children

3. will always be with u

what happened to - raghukul reet sada chali aayi praan jaaye par vachan na jaaye

ab aap sab jawab dijiye - STRICTLY CONSIDERING THEM HUMANS 😛
