Now I told Shanta in parallel to Surpi. Why. Because Ram asks her I came to know you are the sister of Ravan. Come to the point. What is your real motive.
If you look at the situation Surpi has no real motive. She is burning in lust. And it is just that. She makes all the physical changes to lure him. She pleads. She tells she will even help Ram to destroy her brother Ravan and she even comes in the dress of Sanyasi like Sita to lure him.
Let us go back to Shanta. Shanta let go of all her royal garments when she went to woo Rishisringa. She was in a sanyasini garb. And she neither had love nor lust for Rishisringa. She only had motive. Motive of giving a heir to Ayodhya. Rishisringa falls in the charm, marries her and she manages to fulfill her motive.
Kaikasi also comes with a motive to Vishravass. To get a son who has the knowledge.
Kaikeyi had no motive, but her father married her with a motive and her husband agreed for that motive.
Kaikeyi was a pawn between 2 men and through her the concerned men tried to achieve something. But when she blew up, whatever this men tried to achieve came to dust. Kaikeyi didn't achieve anything herself, but her Mahatwakamsha and the way her feminity was questioned almost bought down the foundation of Ayodhya.
As I said yesterday both Ram and Ravan have come to the universe when the woman crossed the line of maryada, when these woman went to men to fulfill some motive of their parents, their kingdom. Their first and foremost loyalty was their kingdom not the man. And this point every man and every woman needs to understand. Benefit of her family, her kingdom.
Sita " Meri anubhuti mein sachayi hai, tho who anubhuti satya hoke mere samaksh aayengi". Her father is her truth, not Ram. First her father's pride, her family's pride.
As I said earlier also only a person who can be truthful to the existing relations can do their duty properly in the new relation also. Unless you are a good daughter or a good sister you cannot be a good wife or a good mother. Same with the man.
Now where does Kaikasi went wrong and Shanta went right. Kaikasi after getting the son completely disregarded her new relations and went back to her old relations. And she made her son grew up in old relations, old methods or whatever her family believed right. And Ravan became egoistic.
Shanta she accepted her new relation, but unfortunately has not gone back to her old relations the way she should. Clearly showing her samarpan to the new life is not complete and she fears if she go backs to the palace she may not be able to come back and her husband might know the real motive of why she came.
And look at Surpi. What is she offering Ram. That she will help him defeat Ravan her brother. A woman who betrays her family for her personal need will the new family trust her. Will speaking ill of your existing family can get you a respectable stand in your new family. Surpi forgets all this in the lust for Ram.
And see the most interesting aspect. Sanskriti uses lust to get what it wants. And whatever that lust created, Prakriti uses the same tool lust and takes it away.
Surpi's lust not only takes away Ravan's lanka, but also Ayodhya's pride. What did Dasrath wanted when he sent women to lure Rishisringa. A son, a heir or a king. It was a king for Ayodhya. And he gets one who has to keep the golden idol of the woman he loves by his side, while his soul is teared apart from him to live in the forest.
Look how Prakriti plays with the same coin on the Sanskriti. And we think we humans are all knowing. We can bend any rule to suit ourselves
