Wonderful analysis Shruti !
The episode was indeed mind blowing ! Ravan - Vibeshen conversation was too good .
Looking forward to the interesting episode tomorrow . How Prakriti is going to handle Trijeda !
Will there be an entry of Tara ( vibeshan's daughter) at this time ?! Or this charecter is excluded ?!

He loved alchohol and broke the mirror or reflection and killed that awakening towards Ram.

Di u nailed it here 👏👏

While watching the scene I never thought it in this way... But ur analysis makes things more clear... So it's basically his ego which is keeping him away from Ram, preventing him to appreciate the luv Ram nd Sita have for each other and develop such a warm relationship with Mandodari, his ego is making him develop an attraction for Sita...

It happens many times, the answers are in front of us still we cant see or don't want to see nd put up a pretence which even we aren't aware of ...

Shiv, Mandodari nd now Vibhishan too Gav him numerous hints and even his conscious knows that the path he has taken up is destructive... but he is putting up a pretence every time...

Also when the mirror broke Sita kept on saying Mere Ram, Mere Ram.. I was reminded of the song "Ram tere man mein hai Ram Mere man mein hai " ... Ram is usually thought as an attribute which everyone have inside them.. it's just that we need to invoke it ... But Sita saying " Mere Ram " was giving Ravan an indication that Ram(goodness) in him in slowly fading away.. Instead of realising this he continues to pretend nd boast to be called a Dashanan and know everything, no one can fool him .. whereas the reality is he is being ditched by his own self 😆😆

Morning guys :)
I'll be back with my take in a while.

Aditi, I agree with you. Sita saying 'Mere Ram' shows that goodness in Ravan is fading.

@aditi you took out the right thing from broken mirrors. Exactly all his goodness, all his dharma is fading

Good analysis everyone. Shruthi I equated the breaking of the mirror as the breaking of illusions for Ravan, who is however unable to face the reality. He was acquainted for the first time ,with his shortcomings by the very person he wanted to both intimidate and impress...He is not ready yet to face up to the reality of his actions so it pushes him further into the darkness of his actions...hence Trijata. Wanting the unattainable must be a quite disturbing phenomenon for an egoistic person like him. The irony is with his powers he creates a labyrinth for Sita but fails to see that he himself is caught in it.Hari's maya ,isn't it? Waiting eagerly to see the confrontation between Trijata's maya and The lord of Maya's consort...

@Savitha yes you beautifully equated labrynith to Hari's Maya. If we create maze for others, then that maze will take us. That's happening to him. Yes Ravan cannot face the truth. He cannot see or hear what is good for him. That is why I said he preferred alchoho to anything sane. Even people who drink, drink to get away from reality right as they don't have it in them to face it.

Yesterday's Episode I feel belonged to Karthik... fabulous potray of emotions..!!
II learnt a lot a from the episode and this is what I would like to share with you..
The first scene shows Raavn losing control over himself and taking alcohol for his remedy. He hides his pain and controls himself so as to prevent himself from falling to Siya. But ultimately what happens is that his pain comes out to him in a more powerful way. Basically, any kind of abusive substance never let's someone forget or hide their pain, all it does is just kills. Deeper, it shows that the pain of a person cannot be forgotten unless it is acted on.
Next we saw him coming to build a wall around siya as a maze, which was clearly a sign of his jealously as she had said Mere Ram. He shows the charecters of a Male Chauvinist, hiding a girl instead of protecting her when required. And his crushing of Shupis sword shows his breaking of her ego and That Shurpi had not made the weapon with utmost diligence, thus it breaking into powder.
Raavn had a very nice dialouge which said that if you can change someones belief, you half have overpowered them. And this is something we must be aware of. Before letting someone change our or principles, we must see whether they are right or wrong.
And the fact that Raavan talked about his ten heads was the idea of multitasking. This is actually one thing we can learn from him, not the bad thoughts, but the idea of multitasking and planning.

And lastly when Trijata comes to Siya telling her fortune, it shows that our destiny can be changed by ourselves only, not by a fortune teller.

And yes, Shurpis said that she will make the most powerful weapon, a woman. And she is true in thought, for a woman has power to both make or break.

Thanks!

Shruthi SKR has made me understand Maya in a broader spectrum .Moreover I am loving this narrative style...this serial has the sole credit of staying true to the promos ,in spite of all the tumult of ratings. So kudos to the whole team. BTW shruthi read your prologue and wrote something about it. Same goes for you too Janhavi...Pls pm me as Iam not able to find the stories without it.
