Yesterday's analysis. I was telling right my mind going back to Shanta. I couldnt help but compare Shanta and Surpi. I understood why yesterday. When Surpi says the price of her revenge will be borne most by Sita. I will come to that in the last part.
First let me look into the Maya. See surpi failed in all the aspects to lure Ram. Now she thinks if she is like Sita she can lure him. And she takes the form of Sita. And plays with his emotions. Look at the way she tries to feed that fruit to Ram. Maybe that fruit is used to seduce. Though the girls of today are idiots as far as seduction goes , I feel the woman of those days not only women like surpi, but women from well to do families will also know the techniques of seduction. Difference will be the woman with value will use it in her room with her husband, which is acceptable and women like surpi will use it to satisfy lust.
But more than the form of Sita, look at the form of seduction. Surpi was playing with Ram's emotions. And believe me a woman who wants to win over a man will try to find his emotional achilles heel and then play on it. Even Maa Parvati does it as Durga with Mahisasur. For e.g if a rich widower with a kid has to be trapped into a marriage, use the kid, behave well with the kid and once marriage done, onc e you have the man tied to your apron show your oriignal roop. And some of the saas in today's daily soap are also like that. Manipulate the son's emotions and use it to their advantage.
If you see at physical level every attack Ram was able to resist. But when Surpi went at emotional level using Maya, we see Ram faltering. He has his doubts, but still he is unable to tell what is wrong. We see him slowly succumbing.
And when Sita Haran happens, she fails physically to resist Ravan, but Ravan is unable to touch her emotionally.
And this is where a woman scores over a man. Her emotional strength. Power of her mind and her ability to resist Maya or illusions as she herself is Maya.
Problem is Sanskriti knows only physical strength as Sanskriti is weak from inside and so it loves to exploit the physical weakness of Prakriti or women. And women they never understand their real strength to give it back to Sanskriti in their own coin.
Now we see Sita running. She hit a stone. Still she runs as she feels something bad is gonna happen. And she sees Surpi. Now cut this to golden deer. Once again Sita proven right. That something bad is gonna happen to Ram.
Note the interesting point. Sita after getting hit by a stone takes the most painful walk to her parnakudi. Stone is also part of Prakriti. To protect sanskriti from doing a mistake, Prakriti takes the pain.
And we need to know what kind of Sanskriti. Ram is the man who loves Sita , respects her and treats her as an individual at par with him. To protect such a man's dignity the one who truly loves takes the pain. And this is long running. For his sake, for his dignity sita will go through AP, through banishment for all the love and respect he has given her.
Surpi-Sita face off was the best. It felt like Gowri-Kali face off. They were kind of mirror images. Both strong willed and independent. Only difference one believes in giving and the other believes in taking.
And what is the mistake Lakshman did in between, in his emotional outburst. He came between 2 bhavs of Prakriti. Sanskriti came between Prakriti. He should have either allowed Sita to handle it or allowed Ram to step in. Because they were the affected parties. But his love for them, he reacts injuring Kali.
And Sita who understands Prakriti knows that the only way a woman attacked can be pacified is by saying sorry. Else in the fire everything will burn. Sita goes or rather gowri goes and says sorry. Felt like Surpi almost fell for her sorry. Till she used the word vasana or lust. What surpi had was lust. But surpi the woman will never look inside. Look she finds fault with everyone. With Ram, with Lakshman and blames them for insulting her. But she got insulted because of herself. For going behind a man who is married and who on clear terms told her he does not want to marry second time. She lost her pride because of her actions. And when Sita told the truth she couldnt take it and told she will take revenge. I would love to see surpi- Sita dynamics in Lanka.
Now since Sanskriti came between Prakriti, Prakriti will have to come between Sanskriti that is between Ram and Ravan for the destruction of existing Sanskriti.
Laxman cut the nose or pride of the destructive Prakriti. And tomorrow to get back the constructive Prakriti or Sita he will have to take a journey of handling his emotions and directing it the right way.
Last part why Shanta lingers. DD you told during Ayodhya kand epi Dasrath calls Sita Putri and it reminded you of Shanta. And we were sad Dasrath didnt die when Shanta was there or the CVs didnt bring Shanta during Dasrath's death.
But now I understand why it didnt happen. What did Shanta get from Ayodhya. She was made a tool to get a boy child.
And what is Sita going to get from Ayodhya. The woman who walked with her husband, the woman who took her husband to the height of the glory is going to be banished from Ayodhya.
In a nutshell what are the daughters of Ayodhya getting. Answer is in the golden statue of Sita kept by Ram. She has to be like gold, malleable, can be put into any shape as man of Ayodhya wishes and just like the shining metal she will have no voice, no individuality. And if she needs to have one, then of course she will have to take Shanta's route or will be banished like Sita.
Just like present day society where woman are called Saraswati, Lakshmi, Shakthi. Whose pooja happens in temples, but are treated like secondary citizens in their homes. And even in temples which has woman deities a woman cannot do the pooja, only a man can. What an irony right.
