Two days ,I missed the thread due to children's holidays and now I see a new thread.I am loving this..Congrats Janhvi and all the members who contributed to this thread.I never thought I would come back to this forum but this thread made me.

Anyway read all of your previous posts, We celebrate Vishu ,the malayalam new year day but I am not a malayali..just belong to a border region between Tamilnadu and Kerala..I speak a mixture of tamil and malayalam at home.

Shruti-Hugs,God has decided that he will make your life more beautiful, that is why the testing..Testing is a sign of that one is walking the path of dharma . Something beautiful always comes of testing phases.

To all my Krishna sakhis-I love your bhakti and glad krishna has shown you the light at such a young age.

Yata raja thata praja. what a powerful statement.in Public life you need to set examples .It may be a job that you are doing but that job needs dedication, discipline, perseverance ,empathy and certain amount of selflessness. In today's world that is what we are missing.Once the elected leaders start thinking that way the trickle down effect will be put in motion and reach the lowest echelons of the society.

Coming to your Sita banishment connecting with that "raja" statement..it was not easy for sita and ram to take that decision but I always felt that banishment was form of a silent protest by Sita and Ram. Sita ,that Lakshmi or Prakriti will not live in a place where she has no respect and Ram ,in a way that he would not remarry as he will trust his wife till his last breath. The above was done not with anger but with acceptance that all humans have weakness and the enlightened person will take a lead in showing the others their mistakes without being judgmental.Jabali in last few episodes represented the mentality of people, "Jo dikhta hai woh bhikhta hai" to put it crudely.in the hindu way of thought, there is no black or white .in one's thoughts everything exist in the greys. it tells one one needs to evolve all the time by concentrating on the god within us. that is the example shown by Sita and Rama..for me,Sita urges women to maintain their self respect and Ram urges men to show respect for women in their lives.it is said Ram uttered very cruel words during her agniparkisha but Brahmaji comes there and admonishes him to not act like a human and show the way like the god he is, to his followers

I was giggling at the Ravan-Shurpnakha scene. It was too much for me to take! 😆😆
His words will lead to his own downfall; Shurpankha will ask for both brothers, Sita Apharan, Ravan vadh 👏👏 Fantastic circle!
Sita realises the truth behind Lakshman's words ⭐️
Major question though: Indrajit kahan hai? 😕😕

And as a person I'll always sway between these two takes... 😆

Yes I agree a balance needs to be made btw the two takes , I mean Ram and Jabali...😊

I agree completely. Tests will always be a challenge; but Krishna gives it to us only to show us our own strength, and ability to do things. The more tests He throws at you, whether they be small or big, it means that He is testing your inner strength, as well as the faith you have placed in Him. For me, all my tests I will pass, as I have swayam Krishna as my guiding light. He makes me search for the truth, for Dharma.
There is a reason we are all discussing this today; it has to do with each of us learning from one another, and together establishing faith in God; in His thoughts, and in the power of His name.

SIYA KE RAM- 27/03

The episode begins with the trio leaving the praja.

What really took me were Ram's words- raghukul ke mahaan raja ke saath saath aap jaisi praja bhi mili hai jo sab tyaag dene ke liye tatpar hai...

Whatta standard nonsense...👏 your words will come back ram.

As everyone in the morning finds the trio missing, jabali saves the day...

Though he has contrasting views as that compared to ram he doesn't forget the latter's karma, kartavya and dharma. That was ⭐️.

Jabali says ram will come back after 14 yrs till then they have to keep ayodhya's grace...

Obviously manthara ko kaun bahaar karaega? 😉

The trio walk...

Lakshman's worried if the ppl are coming behind. Ram assures him they won't.

I lived SiRa's dialogue... Ram's concern...
Interestingly sita mentions that he won't find her tired even after 14 yrs as he would be with her... What poignancy ⭐️

She would be tired of her struggles once she is left alone. Once ram won't be there to share her life. Once he gives back the soil in her pallu..
They meet a fisherman...

I loved the interaction...

Especially on caste difference and Ram's wisdom.. 👏

They wouldn't eat what's cooked but they will definitely eat the raw food...

Sita's acknowledgement that she didn't knew the person she loved is loved by all... The love that takes the form of devotion
And she's glad that this vanvas journey with him is teaching her this..

Here am reminder of VM ashram scene. When sita asks lakshman about the horse. And he tells her about his brother.

Ram bhaiyya hai hi aise.. Aap bhi usne milengi toh aapko bhi unse prem ho jaega...

Whatta circle..👏 the witness to her talks is lakshman ⭐️

Ravan surpankha scene...

Initially I was quite emotional just like mandodari was...

And when I was almost like "huh?" Ravan came back in his real frame and I was like "wow" 👏

Surpankha ravan scenes always have been prophetic of ravan's downfall..

And today that was more or less of a finale

Ravan wants to bring the person whom surpankha loves in her feet... Whatta whistle worthy moment 👏

Feet ka pata nahi but ravan will surely invite his death by doing this..
Once again ram's depth Vs ravan's shallowness..

Cmn to the title...

We are selecting 'beginning'

After one ending we get a new beginning.

As the trio leaves behind the praja, their journey has begun.

Ravan'promise a beginning to his and Lanka's destruction.

Cmn to the question of today

The highlighted parts are just wow !!

I nvr thought about the praja like dat , atleast for now 😆
I was thinking about what Shruthi di was saying that u can't bind God with u ...

Sita's dialogues and your interpretation was excellent 👏

Lakshman's nods were really cute... Since few days he is nodding only , but it looks very cute 😛😆

Ravan and Surpnakha part was really good today ..
I enjoyed Lanka scenes after a long time ...
So Surpnaka will ask for the so called Bhagyashali purush😆
And bring about Ravan's downfall

I was looking at Ravan's ego and committing the same mistake as Dasaratha. Never give promise without thinking of consequences it may yield.
there is a story of how surphanaka was born with a prophecy that she would be one of the causes of ravana's death . Her father Rishi Vishravas prayed for her birth to put to an end to his son ravan for the betterment of mankind.Basically fate is playing its game

@DD I would say the title should be " Beginning". Beginning of new journey for Sira and beginning of downfall of Ravan.
See the interesting aspect. Dasrath also suffered for the vachan he gave. But why Dasrath vachan was not a crime, but Ravan's vachan is.
Dasrath gave vachan to a woman who has saved his life. And we can say kaikeyi deserved it. Well only thing is that Dasrath didnt knew his loving wife will use the vachans in such a way. Because if we see Kaikeyi was a level headed loving lady till Manthara manipulates her. Dasrath did a mistake by giving such open boons. He could have shown the gratitude then and there in some other tangible way.
Now look at Ravan. Shurpanakha by marrying vidyutjeeva has shown the impulsiveness. No thought in actions. And her so called Prem. Lo ho gaya. She is dressed good and looks quite content. She doesnt even feel much about the fact that her husband cheated her. To this impulsive woman Ravan is giving the vachan whoever she loves married or unmarried she will have that man. It is obvious this woman is going to have lust not love. Mandodari is worried. To satisfy her lust, she will manipulate things. She will bring vachan and lo and behold lanka ka satyanaash. Love for his sister has made Ravan blind. To have her the man who doesnt love her. See taking away a woman unwillingly is a crime, so is going behind a man and destroying his family life even if he is not interested in you( Aitraaz movie I had loved it for this theme). And Ravan has exactly given the word to do that.

Ram-Guha convo covered in individual post.

Another point I want to highlight is Jabali's words. Why would Ram come back. See hope is what keeps people alive. There should be an urge to come back. A need to meet your loved ones. A need of feeling wanted. And that is not got by following our loved one at times. But it is got by waiting for the loved one. And that the person who has gone, the need to come back arises from this person waiting back. To a great extend Lakshman could become Ram's emotional support in time of distress was because of his need to go back successful, to go back to that person waiting for him. Urmila was that hope that made Lakshman emotionally stronger.

@DD I loved your take Ram-Sita convo. I never thought of that loop. Yes CVs kind of closed that loop today.
