Sruthi di awesome post👏👏👏
You are absolutely right letting go is really important
Actually we always try to remember the sad memories of our past to this extent that for a moment we feel like we really don't have any happy moments till then..
If we have a painful past there must be a joyful one too😃
there will be pros and cons for every situation but its the general human nature we always start a new thing with a negitive thought😆😆
Let go makes me remember one thing
we always imprint the bad memories in our mind and erase the sweet memories
stress ourself for no reason
if you feel sad or anything so you should try to divert our mind on something else which you love the most and for sure you will get the instant relief
Di if i am sad or feel low i sing a song and within few minutes i feel relived of the pain then my mind will work in the direction 😃
or else i will get carried away with my ocean of thoughts and get even more depressed remembering all the sad moments of my life😆😆
we should put a check and control our thoughts😃

@vani thank you dear. I always feel happy when my post brings smile on someone
@manasa yes we have to move away from sad memories. But please note I have given another thing. Closure. Closure is very important. And diverting mind and trying to control emotions or suppress emotion doesnt give you closure. Only venting out the emotion gives it. That's why I said cry, write all the anger in a sheet of paper, read it throw it. Till you are at ease continue this process. Once the emotions go out you will feel closure. Suppressed emotions will burst open one way or the other.

Yes Manasa listening to God's song can soothe you. I have also my favourites. Mostly Malayalam songs
" Samayamithapoorva sayahanam"( It is a movie song but in praise of Goddess Parvati)

Karmukil varnete chundil ( Another movie song in praise of Krishna)

Janaki Jane Rama( I am not sure whether it is just a movie song or Bhajan as I have heard it in movie. It is a beautiful song on Ram)

'I would that my life remain a tear and a smile.' says Khalil Gibran in one of his poems. Sita seemed to embody this line in the last 2 episodes. She was extremely sad to be leaving her family; ran back to hug them a last time, kept looking back till they faded from her sight. Shruthi, as you said she needed this closure to propel her into taking the step whole heartedly towards her future...a future consisting of a new journey with her husband. And she does it with a smile filled with hope and love. When she sees her sisters still clinging to the past, she gently and lovingly frees them to embrace their future. A beautiful message!
If we have to make our life sublime, we have to let go of our past and just take the lessons learnt in it, revel in our present and hope for our future.
The only snag in this message is its practice😉!

Ramya, shruthi count me too 🤣

It becomes pretty tough wen u have a photographic memory...

But even am trying to tune it to a different frequency 😆 so that I become less cynical about life...

Shruthi, as I said on my thread this scene was 👏 am glad I didn't elaborate ( as usual I knew u would 😆). Your post is ⭐️
Now I'll tell u exactly what I do to deal with past and present...

Problem with me is it takes tym to sink in... I won't react immediately..

But if anytime I find something that I can relate my past to, the drama starts 😆.

I can go mad even if apple nahi kat raha, door lock nahi ho raha, website nahi khul raha, kisi se phone nahi mil raha... Like anything... The significance lies ki- mera koi bhi kaam nahi ho raha as in past...

Past ka ghussa kahi bhi nikal jata h..

Any scene of a movie, serial or a song makes me travel back.

So what I exactly do is sit before a mirror and enact what all happened in the past, what I felt, what I said, what I didn't , what others did... ( am not a good actor but I make a point to enact all the roles for a sufficient tym till everything is out 😆)

And I think acting out the past makes us to dump it easily...
