@Shruthi: I agree, true prem is complete samarpan. So in a sense one can take the decision of other right? It need not be just husband-wife relation but be any relation with true prem.

yes Shruthi ...me too. I find such characters quite entertaining in reel world than in the real world. Shadanand looked like a disgruntled child when he was talking to Janak about them😆.

Yes Ramya. Why husband-wife relation is always highlighted is because of the intimacy in that relation which no other relation have and it is treated as the union of prakriti and purush for the generations to move forward.

@Shruthi: Okay, when one can take the decision for other on basis of true love, for me its seems like either Ram took the decision of banishing sita to safeguard her from further gossip of people or Sita took the decision as a queen to consider the view of prajas. In which case, its their privacy in which 3rd person shouldn't interfere right?
People can only ask for the presence of queen and not about king's life, right?

@Ramya it is two duties one is husband-wife, another is king-queen. King has to take the view of his subjects. And as I said in one of the posts yesterday. Sita's reputation is there as well as the gossip mongers. How do you deal with gossip mongers. How do you take their power and the poison they spread in the society. To show their effect in your personal life. The pain they give to the righteous person. The destruction to life these gossip mongers bring. By standing as an example of a virtuous man and lady affected by gossip mongers. People like Manthara thrive playing on imaginery fears and baseless accusations on other. Once Ram went for vanvass, Bharat trolled over Kaikeyi and Manthara. If Ram has not taken vanvass she would have had control on Bharat.
Same is the case with Sita. If Ram didn't take action the gossip mongers will keep on telling this and that. Once he send her away, majority society will turn against this minority gossip mongers. You need pain to awaken the strong conscience of the silent majority to oust the minority criminals. He took that.
Your multiple roles always conflict and in that conflict lot of give and take has to be there between couples and pain also has to be endured.

@Shruthi: Yes, Ram was a duty bound husband and so do Sita. As long as it was not mentioned that Sita was unhappy with Ram for her banishment, it was clear that their prem was part of dharm.

Here in many cases, reading between lines will leave us in wrong understanding. Hope people stop this assumption and debate like Ram vs Ravan in future.😊

@Ramya though out of topic it is here we have to see Ram with respect to Bhishma. When Ram with his actions stopped gossip mongers isolating them, Bhishma with his so called pledge allowed a man like Shakuni to flourish and we all know the damage the leech like man did to Kuruvansh. A destruction of the mass scale. And many people if you look though they like to call themselves Ram are actually behaving like Bhishma allowing gossip mongers and evil to flourish.

Well said Shruthi. As I mentioned already, Bhishma was one of the main reason for the kurukshetra war but people choose draupati to blame. I stop with this here 😉.

For me, Ram was a clever king who balanced the dharm and prem. Usually we say, MB is full of political teaching and Ramayan about family relations. But this one incident proves how Ram handled the complicated things in an efficient manner, though the people affected are only SiyaRam.

By the way, I dont remember any incident whether vyasa MB mentioned about Ramayan. Can u point, if any?
