Relationships are so complex, and are in so many shades!
The simple sweet love of Rama Sita, or the emotions of urmila, hidden behind false anger
Or the devotional reverential love of Bharat for Rama - which was so eloquently summed up in one
line - I will side with you, because that's what my Rama bhaiyya has told me to do...
Or the protective love of Laksman who is always ready to fight for his brother
Or the maryada bound love of Ayodhya, which doesn't consider
it appropriate for a betrothed couple to meet
The concerned love of parent, as displayed by Janak
Or the accepting love of Rama, where the happiness of those he loves is all important
Be it understanding Sita's nervousness about the food she cooked for him,
Or understanding what kekeyis reaction would be to his alliance with Sita ,
And personally writing to her, to seek her approval
Love can also be controlling, like kekeyis love for Rama,
- in her ambition to find the best alliance for him, she is not ready to accept the inevitable
And love can be highly selfish, as shown by Manthara - she loves kekeyi, there's no doubt of that
But it's a constricting, possessive love, that ends up damaging the very person who is loved !
And the last from of love - excessive self love - where the person is so focused on self,
that the whole world is a potential enemy
This love is vengeful and most damaging
And Ravana is a case in that !
So, today's episode showed all these ranges of love from the gentle all encompassing love of Rama
To the violent vitriolic love of Ravana...
Waise apne Rama ji ke pyaar ka andaz bahut pyaara hai!
All those pyaar Bhari looks, and all those Chupe Chupe se compliments - about mitti ki Mithas,
Aur Sita ji, aap bhi Kaam nahi, itna fishing for compliments?
Aur urmila ji, you are totally lattoo over lakshman Ji!
