Together yet independent ...

what a dhamakedaar episode we had, full on drama
Pehle Raam Sita ki beautiful conversation, I loved how she tested him

Though it is a swayamwar, but Sita has made her choice

While we are part of a family, yet we must be true to ourselves and must respect the freedom of our partner

Sita wants to be called by her name - her identity,

What was delightful was that she still doesn't call him by his name, and the deliberate way in which he called her Sita, taking a moment before saying Sita - slowly, deliberately, as if still hesitant and unsure, yet enjoying the feeling of familiarity

He knows she is testing him, yet he accords her the respect by answering her honestly
,

While we saw a bond of trust and respect building, and we saw the extreme respect given by Rama to Sita's views and the right to have views

We had "Bachana ae haseeno, lo main aa gaya, husn ka aashik husn ka dushman..." Ravana the rock star, and show off supreme -for when a woman is a cheez - a possession to be taken, used and discarded -

That a woman has feelings, a choice and a right to exercise that choice are things that simply do not cross his mind!

So when Ravans ego goes to his head, and his arrogance far exceeds his qualities, and he gets drunk in his own power, the moment a man believes that he is invincible, unstoppable and supreme,

That's when divine justice steps in and ties his hands, in the form of the shrap from Nalakuber, Rambhas sacrifice becoming the shield that will keep Sita safe in his captivity till Ravans time comes and he meets his end at Rama's hands!

If the Rama Sita conversation was tentative yet confident, distant, yet intimate, secretive yet frank, as if they were dancing to a music that was soft and gentle

Raavanas presence on the other hand was stormy, hard and rocky, I just love the eviler than evil persona given to Ravana!

And I am looking forward to Ranvana's big time ego puncture during the swayamwar!

Nahi dekha to dekho, gentle flowing romance se brute force tak sab milenga!

beautiful post
I just loved the convo its so beautiful so romantic yet sometime soothing like something touching u n ur heart
together as a couple yet there will be different Individuality
will mix up with each other yet there will be something different..
every personal has their different individuality n marriage mean union they will be one yet they will be free...
that can come from mutual respect n understanding
SiyaRam today share this with little hesitance little shyness yet eager to know each other...
beautiful...
n Ravan the evil...who think about himself a self obsessed arrogant devil...
who can think everything everything he owns spl beautiful thing or beautiful woman..who don't care about woman n their feelings...
Ravan who showed disrespect towards Prakriti which will bring his down fall..
Two scene such a contrast..

I agree with POV of sita ...

Being independent is not about to be live alone have your own views ,opinion and your individual way of living ...

But being independent in togetherness is the most best and important in today's world .

In a particular society or in relationship there must be an independence yet togetherness ...there should not be only the single path of living but it should connect others also ..

Now coming towards sita and ram ..

I just love their mindset and views regarding different aspect of society and for each other .

Ram's hesitance towards calling sita by her name ...his innocent respect for her ..I wish in today's world every men have this kind of respect towards every women ...

True, Ravana stole the show completely, what a persona - he's going to be a villain we are going to love to hate!

As for the convo of Rama Sita, I guess it was left incomplete, but I kind of liked the inconclusiveness of the whole thing, again contrasting to Ravanas scene, which ended tragically for Rambha, vengefully for Nalakuber, and placed a restraining order on Ravana, it was definitive and forceful, as Rama Sita's was gentle and left open.

Beautiful post just like the episode.

And an apt title as well.

The best part of the episode was the conversation of Ram and Sita.

It was beyond beautiful. Flawless.

How he respects her and gets to know about about testing him.

The hesitation yet the mixed feelings for each other was beautifully portrayed.

And then name the devil and the devil is here none other than Ravaan.

Loved Karthik's acting as Ravaan.

Me too waiting for his ego to be punctured at the Swayamvar.

Overall it was a must watch episode.

And how much we shall applaud the downfall of Ravana!

And I too loved the Rama Sita convo, it was overtaken by the strong persona of Ravana and the highly dramatic impact of his scenes, but the on versatile once again, left a beautiful inspiration - together yet independent, with self identity intact

So well said, alone and independent is the path to loneliness , it's when we can be together and independent, when we protect this independence in ourselves and in those close to us, will love flourish and blossom!

It's a positive emotional experience to watch the Rama Sita scenes
