More than anything, she just keeps cribbing all the time.

What???🤣🤣 I pity the real Mandavi.😆
I have heard a bit about that book. Its central character was Urmila, right? So,I guess Urmila must have been the wisest?😆

I absolutely hate Mandavi in this show! She is a horribly crafted character, as are the other sisters (though not to the same extent). Of course, what else can we expect from CVs who take novels as sources? 🤢 That "Sita's Sister" book had some nice Lakshman-Urmila scenes, but it totally butchered the rest of the characters, especially Mandavi who was plain horrible.

Am bit disappointed with Ravan's choice. Ravan was evil cruel but was also a Shiv Bhakta. Whenever Ravan talks about Shivji, he always shows respect. His expressions are of a devotee at that time.
Here Ravan's tone is similar, arrogant. Even in Lanka in Shivji's temple, arrogance is evident instead of soft expression. They need to work on this aspect.

The scenes of Urmila, Mandavi and Shruthakirthi, especially this past week, were fillers and also does not suit them too. Writers could have given a bit more thought on those scenes or could have given some other filler scenes.

Arvind Trivedi, whenever spoke about Lord Shiva, was always with devotion. Even his Shiv Tandav Stotra was quite good.

Yes, Karthik does need a little more improvement in some aspects, including dialogue delivery, but he just started shooting so I have faith that he'll improve quickly. Ashish and Madirakshi too improved after their initial scenes.

As for Ravan's characterization, I too agree that I'd like to see different shades of his character. He had genuine love for Mandodari, despite his crimes against other women, and here I can't see his love for Mandodari. He and Mandodari had their own love story, and I'd like to see the CVs touch upon that. They had their misunderstandings, but they also had a deeper connection than Ravan had with any other woman in his harem.

I'm actually surprised with the CVs. Usually, modern day mythos like to show the negative characters as "gray shaded" but here, CVs are making Ravan out and out evil.
