It is good to read if you look at it from the author's POV.But from the Ramayan's POV,it was not.Though some characters like Lakshman's was butchered.

Laxman was angry young man. So it is easy to butcher him.
Btw subtle backing if jk fm going on. Dumb m funny hire some were taking offence to use debating on distortion of the epic. Not actors were bashed. But I find people complaining about jk accent etc. Etc etc.

Exactly !! The glorification of Meghnath ,Atikay etal .With a past experience of Neelkanthan's work on The raise of Kali personally I believe it would not at all be related to the epic .Also his idea of breaking the "myths" and looking beyond is difficult for me to understand as the very essence of epic is lost .

Neelkanthan portrayed Sita as Ravana's daughter. Was it considering Adhbuta Ramayana and story of Ghritasamvda ? What do you guys think about this theory?

I never bashed JK.I don't think anyone of us did bash him.We only said that he had to improve a bit on his dialogue delivery.Else everyone knows that JK's acting and screenpresence is picture perfect.

If they consider the Ravana Bramha aspect of Ravan asura and wish to explain dashagriva ever we may expect it.

I read his books on Duryodhan too.He made Duryodhan appear like a softie whereas Shakuni did all the negative work.
We understand that he is trying to create something different but it shouldn't be so different that the people don't relate to the epic anymore.
