Engagement breaking isn't a big deal, someone who is preparing to get married wholeheartedly, is jilted before marriage but it isn't a big deal, aye?

Do you know how dangerous is a broken heart? How many times do they report about women committing suicide after broken engagement? Why value relationship and friendship over bond of engagement and marriage? I have seen people getting depressed when their boyfriend or girlfriend left them, engagement or marriage is not even a thing there.

Did Ruhaan make any commitment towards Mishti but you do feel her pain when Ruhaan is ignoring her, no? Where is marriage or engagement in this relationship?

Ruhaan is leaving because he wants to give Mishti and his friend a second chance in their relationship.

I didn't approve of Nandini leaving Mauli with her cheater husband and I don't like Ruhaan leaving Veer with his cheater fiance. Relationship is a relationship, I don't look for loopholes

Well people commiting suicide over breakup and rest is also common but that happens

there is reason why marriage is bound by contract and living it has bigger repercussions than engagement

yes that is why time between engagement to marriage if u are jilted u prolly werent ready so better breakup than doing things halfheartedly na

That’s your perspective. Ruhaan leaving at this time does not make any sense to me. Nandini leaving had still made some sense.

So how do you differentiate between broken heart of married or engaged people? A broken heart is a broken heart, marriage adds legal pressure in a relationship, engagement adds social pressure but these are external factors. I have seen people depressed over a dating relationship, so feelings are not defined by a ceremony

You can't say that someone who committed suicide over a relationship didn't have as much feelings as someone who was married.

Marriage > engagement

Only because getting divorce is a legal process but if marriage ends mutually on compatibility grounds, there is no broken heart.

@bold1 - I am sorry,i didn't get this, how come a person who was jilted wasn't ready for a relationship?

It doesn't make any sense to me either, that's what we are discussing, I said for me both were wrong to leave their friends with partners who are cheating on them.

I can understand your frustration... His guilty strikes only after Mishti falls for him. That's the funny and most annoying part here. He should have left when he actually decided to leave. But nahi, now he decides to leave like a coward not having the guts to face the situation he was very much involved ik creating. But I'm honestly happy he's thinking about Veer at least now. Which is missing In Mishti now.

Why can't they just end Veer's character?
