That's the social and legal standing of it. Legally and socially marriage is bigger than engagement. Marriage break so do engagements, it's not like marriages do not break.

I am talking about feelings of people, that relationship. Engagement and marriage is just a name for that relationship. Time between engagement and marriage is subjective, not everyone waits to get married.

Well yes feelings are different between engagement and marriage too

Marriage makes u part of someone life completely engagement doesnt so engagement breaking is never considered big deal anywhere

I don't understand the differentiation here, two people in relationship matter or the ceremony which bonded them? Marriage is just a social formality isn't it? What matters is two people who are in the relationship, no?

Anyway, my point was that Ruhaan is a guy who is leaving a girl alone, so women who are watching the show connect to the girl's pain of being left alone, Nandini was a woman who left a man, so none thought in the similar terms that Nandini left Kunal to deal with Mauli alone.

The whole blame of EMA went on Kunal, this time it will be Ruhaan, if you have noticed people have already started disliking him for this

Nahi na. Thats being practical , but thats not the case in our society.That's where there is a huge difference. Marriage has social, legal as well as religious sanctity in India. It may not be the same in other countries.

Nandini left because she thought she was giving Kunal and Mauli a second chance in their marriage. Normally people make all efforts possible to save a marriage. If Kunal and Mauli were just engaged Nandini wouldn't have bothered leaving as well, because shaadi hone wali thi , hui nahi hai .
