Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira fails to win Maira, urges Armaan to take her away

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is currently focusing on the emotional turmoil surrounding Maira, Abhira, Armaan, and Geetanjali. Maira is trying to adjust to her new life away from Armaan and Geetanjali, but things are far from easy. Despite being surrounded by Abhira and Armaan's extended family, the little girl continues to cry for the only family she's known all these years in Mount Abu, Armaan and Geetanjali.

Abhira, though overjoyed to reunite with her daughter after seven long years, is heartbroken as she struggles to connect with Maira. Her efforts to comfort and bond with her are met with resistance, as Maira's attachment to Armaan and Geetu remains unshaken.

Meanwhile, back in Mount Abu, Geetanjali's health continues to deteriorate due to the pain of being separated from Maira. Armaan, too, is deeply affected but chooses to suppress his emotions, determined to endure the suffering silently. He believes this is the only way Abhira can reclaim what she lost because of him.

The current storyline highlights how one decision Armaan made seven years ago has impacted not just him, but also Abhira, their daughter Maira, and even his fiancée.

In the upcoming episode, Abhira, along with Maira and Vidya, moves back into their old house. Kaveri also joins them in the effort to make Maira feel at home. Together, they try to lift her mood by giving her a big teddy bear as a gift. However, despite all their efforts, Maira remains upset, and there's no visible change in her behaviour. This deeply affects Abhira, and she breaks down emotionally.

Later, feeling helpless and unsure of what to do, Abhira video calls Armaan. Seeing her in tears, Armaan asks what's troubling her if Maira is physically fine. Abhira, overwhelmed by Maira's constant crying, tells Armaan that he should come and take Maira back with him, as she hasn't stopped crying ever since she arrived and clearly doesn't want to stay there.

Trying to comfort her, Armaan gently reminds Abhira that she is Maira's mother and assures her that she will eventually win her daughter's heart. His encouraging words give Abhira a sense of hope and strength.

The next day, Abhira makes an effort to connect with Maira again. She prepares aloo paratha with love for Maira. Accompanied by Anshuman, she walks up to Maira and cheerfully presents the breakfast. Abhira lovingly breaks a piece of the paratha with her own hands to feed Maira. As Maira takes a look at it, she notices something and says she doesn't eat the little brown things. Abhira asks if she's referring to ajwain (carom seeds), and Maira nods in confirmation. Abhira immediately apologises, saying she didn't know about Maira's dislike. Maira then innocently says that her father knows this, which unknowingly hurts Abhira and leaves her saddened once again.
