It's your assumption that his character is not benefitting him in any way. I think it is you who is misinterpretating people's opinions.

When I write something isn't it obvious that it's my opinion? Did I say that I am quoting Shakti? This is what i think when I think it is my opinion... It's not a fact, I can be wrong or right...

I guess people here are misinterpreting my post -

1 Shakti has never said that he is unhappy or anything, it's just my opinion that he has worked very hard for this show but he doesn't get the appreciation or acknowledgement due to bad execution of his character, like Drashti and Aditi were nominated for ITA awards, Shakti didn't make it to top 5 even though he has been really good in this show... Again it's not a fact, just an opinion that he deserves better for giving such a good performance.


2 This post is not about endgame or the story, it's about how writers has executed characters. Rajdeep was an example of what writer can do with negative characters, people actually liked Rajdeep and encouraged him even though his crimes were heinous, I remember people even shipped him with Mauli, so she can write negative characters and people's reaction to these characters is not necessarily the hatred which Kunal and Nandini received.

3 Yes, we can say that writer tried to glorify EMA and showed it as something progressive which is wrong and that's where she went wrong, I am not denying any of this...

4 Jaya ji said that this is not the story they set out to present, the story was changed, now the original story doesn't exist. DD quit the show, show was taken from TV to online platform, Shakti stayed loyal and if you watch his interviews he is always positive about this show, so I know he won't quit, it's not in him to leave a project in middle...

5 I am none to suggest anything to him, it's his life and he can do anything he want, I was just putting forward an opinion that writer is being unfair to him... Again it's not about endgame but the whole memory loss track and inconsistency in development of characters is not done...

what to say about the post. Each person has to choose his job because of different reasons. At times you may not like ur boss ur work but still carry on. Responsibilities are there.

As far as I am seeing there are lot of people in this discussion have praised Shakti for his acting and counter that his role offer alot to him though negative or postive. At the end of the day people will remember Kunal and Mauli.

What's wrong if an actor wants to explore and try different characters? End of the day they are doing their job and want to grow as an actor so will try something different.

Even tho I don't like Kunal's character right now...Shakti is doing an amazing job! I would rather he did this than some main' hero who dances to his wife's Tune and is left to do nothing but following the palu of his wife! That's how most tv serials are. Female dominant and the men have little to do so end of the day he has taken on a good character here which gives him the opportunity to stand out and hold his own.

We are nobody to judge a person due to the roles they choose. You so are mixing the two.

And if people are praising his acting that means somewhere he is doing good work to be noticiable.

But you are adamant on your 'opinion' that his role is not offering him anything and keeps on repeating same comment again and again with different words.

You can't even decide that what you want to talk about Shakti and writer or Rajvir. Because as far as I've seen Rajvir get praises as a villain because he was a villian the same way people love Allaudin Khilji in Padmavat. Where as Kunal is getting negative views as a hero having grey shade. Also there are many people in this industry who have done shows lead role and then done some minor role which offers them nothing and instead they had become just mere wallpaper in show for example: Shrenu Parekh and Kunal Jaisingh in Ishqbaaaz.

But in this case the focus still on Shakti not on Ishaan nor people are considering him villian.

And That's what people said here. They completely understand difference between opinions and facts. But when they give their 'opinion' You were like "I didn't say that" when in the first place they didn't accuse you of saying that.

1 I am the Thread maker, different people are commenting on different parts of my post, someone is commenting on the story, someone on acting, someone on writer and many commented on Rajdeep so my reply to people is according to the points they are discussing in their replies. So Its obvious I'll explain what I have written in my post to everyone who is commenting..

2 Even I have said that Shakti has given the best performance of his life in this particular show, that's because he is showing a wide range of emotions in it, I think Abhinav was nominated for his performance by juries, he deserves it because he did exceptionally well as Rajdeep, I am just saying that Aditi, Drashti, Abhinav, Jaya ji everyone got acknowledgement in one way or another, I was disappointed that Shakti was not nominated even after delivering an amazing performance... Now I am not saying that's the only parameter, it's just an example.


3 Abhinav is praised for Rajdeep's character, I loved him in this role. That's not what I discussed here, I discussed the way his character was presented, I have seen fans supporting rape by Rajdeep calling it Nandini karma and someone made a post saying Rajdeep should burn Nandini because she deserves this on this very forum, I guess the post was taken down by mods (I am not sure), the context was that there are two negative/grey characters in this show and how they were presented by the writer... She failed because people supported rape on a woman which is not correct...


4 I have clarified that this post is not about the story or endgame but a few members assumed that I have written this because I have an inclination towards Maunal, so I have to say that I never wrote it in first place... Anyway you are the first person who has said that my opinions are rigid.. #RegisteredNotAccepted

5 You can't change people's views, I am yet to see people agreeing to me after their initial rejection of my post... There are two groups, MauHaan fans would never agree with anything I say and some Shakti fans would agree with what I have written...
