Yes, he was supposed to have EMA with Nandini that was the story but they wanted to unite Maunal in the end, KuNan was supposed to be attraction... That was the story

I don't think why there is this misconception in this forum that Nandini happened by mistake. Kunal never said that and he never regretted loving her or marrying her. What do you mean by reform? Loving Mauli again is reform?

What do you think can come from this track?

From what I am seeing, it's a great opportunity to answer our questions, if Kunal's true love was Nandini then he wouldn't feel the same for Mauli, he has amnesia but there is a part of him who doesn't feel the same for Mauli or feels the love for Nandini

its open interpretation...

if he never regretted than he would not have stoop so low infront of mauli...that is not whitewashing from asian paint or saint...he regrets through his action rather than saying out loud n shouting out loud...nandini is my true love...mauli i am sorry for cheating u😆...regret doesn't mean u express through words...it means u express through actions...

How does it matter what they INTENDED it to be? Other than proving how weak the makers are on on the execution of their own.ideas what does the original intention really add to the current show?

Actually the 1st episode dialogue, word for word/verbatim is:

Mauli: "Kunal, agar tum mujhse milne se pehle usse milthe na, tho tum usse se shaadi karthe."

Kunal: "Aur phir mein uska dil tordetha."

Mauli: "Kyun?"

Kunal: "Kyun ke uske baad mein tumse miltha, aur mujhe tumse pyar hojatha. Aur phir mein tumhare begair reh nahi patha. Cause you're the best my love. And when you love the best, you live without the rest."

The caveat, as I have bolded/italicized and underlined is that Mauli is saying if Kunal met Nandini first (i.e. he was not aware of Mauli's existence/did not know Mauli/had not yet met or been married to Mauli) then he would marry Nandini, to which Kunal replies he would break Nandini's heart because then he would afterwards meet Mauli, fall in love with her, and wouldn't be able to live without her.

So the whole context is meeting Nandini first, and Mauli second. This is a stark contrast from meeting/marrying Mauli first, then Nandini, then Mauli again. He does not use the words "phir se" to signify falling for her again.

Just out of curiosity/for clarification, this keeps popping up in the forum, so does anyone have a link to this interview?

I read all the articles circulating of Drashti's exit because she did not want to play a mother or insecure wife. In none of those did they mention that Maunal was an endgame (Nor do I personally think Kunal would even leave Nandini if they had a child together - which they would, hence Drashti not wanting to play a mother, but I digress).

Maybe I missed something in these articles where Pearl confirmed that Maunal was an endgame.

Just that end your original plot

The plot was EMA, I want an end to it with all the gaps sealed, DD leaving wouldn't have impacted if they had casted someone else as Nandini and carried on with the original plot...

I want an end for EMA which shows that it wasn't right
