We can actually discuss this...
If Kunal didn't love Mauli, memory loss or no he wouldn't feel anything for her, if he does love her then his love for Nandini was just an attraction.
I don't understand what do you mean by "Kunal live with Nandini, he has a daughter" he lived with Mauli for 7 years and they have a daughter too...
I am thinking that seeing Mauli with Ishaan he will go through the same pain Mauli went through then only he will realize how Mauli felt when he cheated on her...
Sorry for replying so late, I can't make more than 20 posts a day. But I am back:
I am saying that Kunal has got plenty second chances during pre-leap and he discarded all of them. Not only did he discard them he went beyond: think back to all those times when he accused/ dragged and showed Mouli her place.
Firstly, you keep bringing up "initial intension but how is that even relevant when so much has changed? If they really wanted EMA to be "punished or Kunal learn that Mouli was indeed his true love then they would have recasted Nandini, not bring Ishaan into the picture. I read someone wrote that only the important part of pre-leap is being brought back and that's why EMA isn't being focused on right now...uhhh okay. But that seems like some serious level of cherry picking. And if that is the road they are taking then I have nothing to say.
Another point: Kunal said Mouli was his true love? Then he also said Nandini was his true love (multiple times). The episode where he dragged Mouli to Nandini's place he said firstly just to Nandini that whether or Nandini is with him, he will always love her...So which one do you believe? And why?
Here again the 7years thing: if Kunal had lived (happily) for 7 years with Mouli, he also lived 3 years with Nandini. He left 7 years of relationship (and family and country) for Nandini. He didn't leave Nandini for 3 years (so again the "intention of breaking Kunal-Nandini seems very sketchy, when was the insecurity gonna happen) and even later when they were parted it was death not because Kunal realized his "true love for Mouli. If they really wanted to "keep their first intention, they could've simply said Nandini and Kunal didn't work out so they also got divorced. And Kunal could have said something like "yeah, I was wrong and I lost sight of wrong and right and in throes of passion I couldn't see anything else. I mean that would still make him a cheater and still wrong but that could have been the beginning of redemption/resolution. That could have worked even with Dhrasti's exit.
But even after the leap Kunal was still saying that the reason Pari wont be accepted is that the society would not accept Nandini and his relationship. Which means that he did still love Nandini and was not planning on coming back for Mouli or his family. So... Yeah. I don't know what you see what I am not seeing but I certainly don't see love/respect/regret/sadness. And for writers to claim that they intended to show consequences of EMA???? The only one suffering here is Mouli. If they meant being cheated makes you miserable, then yeah clap clap makers, you have done a beautiful job making Mouli miserable and still not over Kunal. But if the message was to show that EMA isn't the end of a relationship and that it can be mended then they have done a shit job, haven't they? If they wanted to show that you can fall in love with after marriage they executed in the worst possible way.
I don't want MouNal, but not because I think Kunal truly loved Nandini, but because of all the things that I have listed on here and much more that I haven't that shows Kunal was terrible, terrible to Mouli. And while one affair isn't the end of the world, and ultimately can be resolved, Kunal stooped beyond that.
