I agree. Pari isn't wrong but she is OTT. And that is a big problem for me personally. I think many of us who are having problem with this show because the show keep flip-flopping the tone.
I think many of us, if not all, wanted a dhamakedaar, full voltage drama after Kunal's return. And after their OTT divine love, increadible white washing of KuNan and later humiliation of Mauli, I think we deserved it. But we didn't get that. Mauli has been made mellow. Is it because the show wants us to be realistic and wants to portray reality? But chalo, wo bhi fine. And I do think Kunal has been fairly okay since his return. Other than him not regretting doubting Mouli's pregnancy, he has done nth good or bad (but seriously, are makers not even going to address that angle?)
But how about rest of the show? The rest is utter non-sense. Either portray the whole story and each character with realism and dignity or go to the full on drama part. Don't trick viewers into believing a characters bahaviour (Mauli in this case) is real.
So, coming to your point of Pari: no she isn't wrong. But she is hella OTT and thats annoying. Specially when rest of the show is so mellow. And unlike Mishty (who just witnessed her mother telling her father that he didn't want her even before her birth), Pari has no reason to be so OTT.
This track should have been about Kunal and Mishti and NOT Mouli and Pari. And later, they could have had Kunal-Pari track regarding how to Pari feels about Mishti as a real sister. Mouli and Pari don't need to be a thing, ever for me personally, but if the makers really wanted Mouli to mother KuNan's child they could've incorporated Mouli in that story.
But now, when Kunal is fairly chill about Mishti, and to see Mouli get so upset about a kid getting fever is beyond ridiculous. (For crying out loud, they could've made Kunal go away for a conference for few days and Radhika and co agreeing to babysit her in that periode, but no they had to play the poor motherless Pari card). They are using Pari the same way they used domestic violence: just a plotpoint to justify KuNan. And just like how people stopped sympathizing with Nandini when it got too much, people have had little too much of OTT cuteness.
