FYI its an offence if the woman is married and her husband doesnt know about the affair .Nandini is not staying with her husband and already filed a divorce .

Also Dont compare Adultery with the crimes that Rajdeep commited .

Crime of adultery is different from crime of domestic abuse. But it's still a crime.

Crime of murder is different from crime of rape but it's still a crime. Isn't it?

Crime is a crime that needs to be punished as per it's gravity. NO one is comparing the crimes but TM is talking about how both men are criminal.

Nandini has just filed for the divorce, not yet divorced by the court. These are 2 different things. Filing a divorce doesn't mean you are divorced. It has to be finalized.

And still, her filing for divorce gives her a right/excuse/justification to romance her best friend's husband. WOW. What a logic?

Kunal isn't divorced yet, right? He hasn't even filed for it yet, if we are talking about the same show. So, how his affair is not wrong?

Isn't what kunal doing with Nandini ultimately bring her sadness??

Both cheating and physical assaults are punishable under IPC although by different durations.. Yes, one comes under civil law and other under criminal law but both ultimately land the accused in jail only

Bad news..

Filing for divorce doesnot mean divorce is granted.. Whatever I don't find anything wrong from N's side on R's behalf..

Still filling for divorce nowhere allows to start affairs with other's husbands!!

Kunal is cheating on his legally wedded wife.. That makes him a criminal!!!

Section 497 of the Indian Penal Code deals with Adultery. As per the Indian law, a woman cannot be punished for the offence of adultery. Only a man who has consensual sexual intercourse with the wife of another man without his consent can be punished under this offense in India.

Nandini is single now .Filed divorce which will eventually be granted .Her husband is already served restraining order .So no kunal isnt a criminal.

Under the Hindu Marriage Act, Kunal can be tried for adultery and punished for 5 years on complaint by Mauli. This will also serve as a ground for divorce to her.

And yes, Rajdeep can now easily prove that his wife wanted a divorce from him because she was having an affair with Kunal & that Kunal seduced her into having an affair with him. Divorce won't be granted without a court hearing. Court would pay more attention to the angle of adultery. Under the same section 497A, consent of women doesn't really matter in the affair. It's the husband's will & Rajdeep can prove that easily. He would even have an evidence to prove that they knew each other while he was married to her. Only Mauli's or Kunal's mom's testimony can defeat Rajdeep's case. This affair actually strengthened Rajdeep's case like never before.

I know the law & I know how exactly it can be used to tweak a case. The lawyer already has asked Rajdeep to find something to prover her characterless, that will give him an upper hand. And this is the biggest thing he can use to have a upper hand in the court.

Dislike both of them but yes Rajdeep is a murderer as well so even though Kunal is gross I wouldnt say they are the same,

Yup Rajdeep needs to be punished for physical abuse and Kunal for mental abuse.. What I meant was Kunal was behaving as a hypocrite when he was questioning Rajdeep's character and intention!!
