But Kunal would have reacted like that out of sheer insecurity & supposed ego that can bring the worst out of a person at times. Frustration builds when things aren't done the way people want and then it doesn't matter if it is because of third person or their own personal sentiments about things.

But major wedge has been induced by Kunal, these things about Mauli will just widen this wedge over time.

I remember Nishabd movie, where wedge was introduced by the young girl but the old man lost everything in the process and even then he was not willing to let go of the feelings that were insane. Kunal is never going to be the same person ever again. Mauli can either leave this man or choose to live with him for whatever reason.

Its not really about Kunal lashing out at Mauli. That could happen with or without Nandini in the picture. The question is, that how much of a will will Kunal have to fix this issue between him and Mauli. After he lashes out at her and walks away, will he sit and sulk about it and finally come around to fixing things or will he just sit and sulk and lose himself in Nandini's thoughts. Sorry, I dont know where this 'sulking' thing came from 😃 but the way Kunal's character is, I can only imagine him sulking.

Waise Nishabd was a bit of a dark movie, or a better word would be raw. But they showed things as it is. The guy lost the trust and respect of his family, but he still couldn't give up on his feelings or even view his feelings as wrong. There was no attempt to glorify it, but the fact that he couldn't give up on his feelings even after losing everything , that actually left me feeling like W*F!!! I see that as an attempt to romanticize it. An old man's eternal love for an eighteen year old!!! Surprisingly, the movie did not gross me out while I was watching it. Probably, because the controversial character was played by AB. In reality though, a man who is old enough to be a grand father having that kind of feelings for an 18 yrd old would totally gross me out.

Coming back to Silsila, I dont think the two can be compared. Nishabd was bold, in-your-face and unapologetic in its portrayal of this forbidden love. Silsila's writers are desperate for the viewers to ship Kunal-Nandini as a couple 😃 I can literally picture the director standing behind that Babaji and telling the audience" See even the Babaji is saying Nandini-Kunal are meant to be together" 😆 And dont even get me started on the that bgm.

The main point is why is Mauli being secretive about it. Of course couple talks about their dreams too much. But then they do it together.

I remember in Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Kashaf had huge problem with taking help from Zaroon after marriage & that often led to conflicts between them because Zaroon wanted Kashaf to maker him part of her life just like Zaroon made her part of his every important decision.

Even there, Kashaf was wrong for being all secretive. Couples talk & communicate to have a clear sense of things.
