Wednesday Episode was the best in terms of execution. Thursday episode was drag and still Sita did not leave the earth. I watched few episodes of their star plus mahabharat show again recently on HULU. I don't know how I watched it when it was telecasted the first time. I guess I don't have patience now and have been not watching hindi tv soaps for a long time. After a long time I started watching Hindi shows with SR. My last hindi show was Kuch Rang Pyar ke Aisi Bhi on Sony tv.

I honestly didn’t have problems with Mahabharat. It’s one of my fav shows even today & I have watched almost all the re-runs. But the amount of skimping they have done on facts is insane. The execution more than made up for it, so did the acting. It was crisp even though it felt like their version of Mahabharata is their canon version and not actually what happened

See I don’t mind dhoom tananna in regular shows. But this is an epic re telling, so I wish they hadn’t tried to treat it like a regular show stretching tracks too much that’s all.

If they have announced the date, it’ll happen chatter box ji. But this is not the official date is it ? Gossips tv ka haina ? So thoda bahot buffer hoga. Maybe around 20th finish karenge.

Ofc authenticity is an issue because Ramayan is 5000+ or countless years old. We can’t even validate what happened 1000 years ago. We are just aware of what happened through various people’s view points and their construction of events.

But Ruler or not, he was a husband along with being a king. One duty doesn’t hold precedence over the other.

Yes I agree, it was done to teach self respect. Khud ki izzat nahi karoge toh koi bhi izzat nahi karenge. And even if the person questioning you is your husband, you can and you *should* choose your self respect. That’s the message.

prachi has apt expressions in the scene

dialogs were well written for her

it was tradition of raghukul to keep

harishchandra dasharath are few examples

some people even question

why lakshman left urmila in the palace for fourteen years

he has a duty towards her as husband

if we look in valmiki ramayan

no conversation between the couple on the topic

no hint of their meetings even

these epics have many questions

we have to think and arrive at different conclusions
